1 /5 Chris Losi: Walked in with my whole family to buy clothes. We had an empty plastic water bottle and coffee cup. Asked the cashier (who was not helping anyone) if she had a trash can. She said no. I could see the trash can. She said I had to go across the store into the main mall to find a trash can. I said, well then Im not buying anything. She said thats fine. I said I see the trash can right there! She said, its not for food. I went to Macys instead and spent $300. Ill be avoiding them in the future.

5 /5 Marla Walters: I hadnt been to a JC Penney in years. Nice surprise. Good brands and lots of selections. Clean and bright. Dressing rooms. Very similar to Macys or Kohls.

2 /5 Paul Millett: I recently purchased a top coat online from jcp.com Never had any luck as sizing varies with manufacturer. It arrived promptly and was too large so I returned it to our local JCP. Customer service is nonexistent, after explaining about the fit I wondered if I could just exchange for a better fit. No one could measure my chest, etc so that I could reorder the coat. Another giant soon to exit the market.
