5 /5 Cindy Crosby: I suffered an injury to my left arm and shoulder from a fall due to a dimly lighted, unmarked curb located in a condo complex dumpster area. It was a very traumatic experience as I was 400 miles from home and alone, house sitting for some friends.
I didn’t contact an attorney right away, but as my pain didn’t lessen as time went on, I decided to contact an attorney to find out what my options were. I had no clue who to contact, so I googled attorneys. I looked at a few websites but kept going back to Harris Personal Injury’s website. I liked that they had offices all over California because I live in Northern California, and my injury happened in Southern California. I was also impressed by the summaries of their successful cases and the types of cases that they handle. I felt like it was a perfect fit.
I filled out the online form, and that same day I was contacted for further information. An attorney was assigned to my case, and after reviewing the information I provided, decided that we would pursue the case. My case was reassigned shortly after that to another attorney, Elena, and she was wonderful. She personally called me with updates whenever there were any, she let me know about any offers and if she thought they were adequate or not. We rejected the first offer, but the day before my deposition was to be held, they offered an acceptable settlement, so we accepted it.
In February, Elena started a leave of absence, so then I would get updates from Daniel, the paralegal, and Phil, one of the managing attorneys of the firm. They were so good at keeping me updated on the progress, and they’re super friendly and relatable. It took quite a while to finish the case because of a certain process they have to go through to settle with the medical providers, but we are finally done, and according to Phil today… “the check’s in the mail!”
I can’t recommend this firm enough. I’m more than happy with the way my case went, the way it was handled, and the amazing communication from the attorneys and paralegals. Thank you, Harris Personal Injury! Thank you, Elena, Phil and Daniel!
