1 /5 Elizabeth Raines: I felt like I was interupting the sales staff. They welcomed me when they noticed me, but very quickly, they let me know I was asking too much. I asked for a replacement for the bracelet that turned green. The sales girl treated me like I was a little bit less important than her. On the next visit, to replace the same bracelet with a faulty clasp, I felt ganged up on by 2 sales women. I had explained that it’s hard for me to take off the bracelet each time, so that’s why I leave it on, hence it turns green eventually. They insisted I need to take the bracelet off each time. I honeslty felet less than welcome with the way they treated me. I was simply asking if there was a similar bracelet in white gold. They might have suggested helping me style my look differently, but they were simply not that forthcoming. One sales woman started to give me a lesson in the differences in various kinds of jewelry stores (fine jewlery vs theirs etc)
I usually shop at a store in another state, where the sales staff treat me like a princess, making me feel special from the moment I walk in the door to the moment I leave. I’ve had 3 experiences with this Pasadena store, and each time the feeling I have is … I’m not one of them. I will not be back to this location, and I hope other stores in the area have nicer staff.
