Shawn Kelley I used to go to Allews hair salon in Sebastopol. They have retired and closed there business. My hair stylist there created my hair cut for me. I was not sure if it could be recreated again. So, I went to Northern Roots Salon after they were so nice to look at a video of it on youtube for me of how I want it cut. My hair was real long and they did a real good job of cutting it for me. It was a little short, but you have to give credit where credit is due. I also will have more time before I need it cut again. I am happy that I now have another hair stylist that knows what she is doing. If I could give them 10 stars, I would ! Thank You Northern Roots Salon. I will be telling people about you. :)

Susan Harlow-Schott Angie is wonderful, happy, and does a beautiful job on my cut and color. She uses the best products. My hair is always silky when I leave. She really understands curly hair, which has been a challenge for me. Im so lucky to have found her. Plus, she has lots of candles and wind chimes and other goodies and hair products for sale, of course.

Sierra Cook We called and asked if they do boys haircuts and the woman that I scheduled the appointment with said yes. I was under the impression that they had experience in doing boys hairstyles so I scheduled an appointment. The cut that my son left with is nothing like the photo he showed the lady. He was left with long hair hanging around his ears, the top of the head does not blend with the sides and he is extremely upset. When I called the salon and talked to the woman that did this haircut she said that they do boys haircuts but they’re not barbers and don’t have the training to do fades… if that was the case then they should have never even started the haircut after my son showed her the inspiration photo! She could have said right from the get go that she didn’t have the skills needed to do the cut! Simple as that!

Auweloa Helen “Ladybug808” I was a welcomed walk in. The shop is too darling very relaxing and comfortable. Melissa did my hair and she is a doll. I only intended to get it cut i decided to spruce it up a bit so we did some color with streaks as I had commented on the color of her hair and decided I liked that. The colors were not what i wanted but im sure she will fix that next time and luckily it came out really cute anyway. Her location is good, prices are fair and shes just fun. Christine, at the next table, was also delightful. Prices are super fair, and my nails were VERY little because I have smaller hands and I’m a nail-biter. I set up the next appointment with her immediately and I’m looking forward to my next visit.

estepany Cedillo I went in there as a walk-in to get a haircut. My hair is straight and was one length a little past my shoulders. I showed Jackie (the haor stylist) a picture of what I wanted, and then she started to cus my hair... as I felt her cutting away, I had a bad gut feeling, but I stayed and decided to proceed. When I saw what she had done to my hair as she was blow drying it, I was in shock... I felt like crying so bad my hands were shaking and my heart was beating really fast... I have never had anyone mess my hair up like this....when she saw my reaction, she said that it was embarrassing the way i was reacting, and i proceeded to pay her 45$... this is the picture I showed her, and this is my hair afterward..... i cried on my way home and cried some more when I got home... this is just... so messed up. I am not picky my hair, but this goes beyond .... I am just still in shock and in a lot of emotional distress. Update the last 4 pictures were taken by the stylist that I went to afterward to try to fix my hair. She just couldnt believe that someone would do something like this to someone elses hair...

Apparently a lot of professionals do as well, because Ive gone home with many a lazy cut that required adjustment; that blocked when I wanted natural, misinterpreted "high fade" for "mohawk", etc. Emily nails it effortlessly every time. Shes attentive, professional, and just has a talent for good hairstyle. Ive never left her care with a cut that didnt look clean and sharp, no matter how carried away we got in conversation. ;)

Reno Mickie On vacation, my sister-in-law and I got a recommendation from a local that Chez Char Omnispa was excellent. Turned out, this was the best massage either of us had ever had! Char is amazing and was the best part of our trip to Clear Lake. We are talking about going back just so we can have another massage from Char! Amazing experience - highly recommended!

B. Rickie Char is so great! Ive had a good number of massages in my life at many different places -- high-end and out-of-the-way -- and my experiences with Char were absolutely at the top end. Healing hands, both informed and intuitive abilities in her approach to working with her clients needs (my girlfriend also received a super-healing experience at the hands of Char). I went in with some really deep and entrenched soreness in my back and arm, and Char was so able and ready to engage, find out by both touch and talk what was wrong and how to fix it. If you have any body aches, Go See Char!

Lauren Horner Char is amazing! This was seriously the best massage I have ever had and have had many massages, very extensive, lasted for over an hour and you can tell she is very passionate about what she does! I had the full body massage and there wasnt a spot she didnt miss, it felt so good and would definitely recommend her to anyone who wants a REAL massage! She told me she has over 30 years experience and trained at Harbin Hot Springs, I also had my hair cut by her and she did a great job with that too, she is definitely skilled in all that she does, is worth the price, you will get your moneys worth and then some!

Ashley They are amazing! They have helped me look AND feel better.. My face looks a LOT better after getting help with skin care treatments. The facials here are very relaxing, and Tina does an amazing job educating on skin care routines and products. And lets not forget about the eyelashes, nails, and eyebrows. Angelique Monique Hernandez Will never return. It started off normal. I asked for a gel pedicure. She said $50. I was expecting $40-$45 so I was not too surprised. I picked white for my toes. 1st thing, when cleaning my cuticles, she cut my skin. I said ouch and she said sorry. When it came to the color it looked horrible. I asked if she could redo my toe since it was bumpy. She asked for her coworker to translate, he asked what was wrong I said sorry can you have her redo my toe it is bumpy. He translated seemed annoyed and took all the polish off my toes. She went back to filing and cutting around my toes. I told her she didn’t have to do everything over just the toe. She didn’t understand and kept cutting. She made me bleed. I said ‘OUCH!!’ she didn’t look up and did a worse job than before. I asked the guy if I can pick a different color since the white just seemed like old polish he said yes and asked if I wanted him to do it. I said yes please. She kept doing my nails and went back to cutting my toe. I said please stop. She didn’t. When she painted my toes, my big toe stung so bad. It was bleeding bad. I had to yell to please stop and started to cry. The guy asked what is wrong I said I just want to leave please and showed my toe. I said I was diabetic and don’t want to catch an infection because of my cute and just wanted to leave. The guy was sorry and said I didn’t have to pay. I left crying.

Mr.andMrs. ThomasCrusse I was nervous going here after reading the other reviews but my normal nail tech was fully booked and I had a painful nail needing fixing and a whole new set and fortunately for my friend and I, our experience was nothing like these others Ive heard. They were able to get us both in right away and they have soooo many glitter tip options available, its so hard to choose from. The people were nice and cleaned and sanitized before and after each person. Only reason I didnt give them a 5 star this time was because the woman kept going from me to another person and left me waiting awhile and once she almost forgot to change brushes, (going from the other womans toes to my nails)I noticed and mentioned it and she quickly switched to a new one and apologized only happened once it couldve been an honest mistake, they were busy but still. My advice just Pay close attention if u go there.

Mako Johnson Absolutely horrendous, I have never had service this bad before, I understand why we must support small businesses especially with how expensive the cost of living is now. But this is horrible work, not only are my nails crooked, they’re not fully cured the next day, they’re thin, missing acrylic powder on the sides and were not properly filed. The nail tech cut me multiple times, used the same nail file she used on the client before me and who knows how many others, the work station was dirty and unsanitary. They also have stickers on the door stating that they took card there but when asked if they took credit cards told us they were cash only.
