Kaysi Everett This is for Jamie in suite #21 (New Dreams Beauty Studio). She is the best, Ive never really left a salon feeling 100% happy with a stylist or my hair cut but that changed today! She was super informative but not overwhelming, especially for a person like me who seriously has no knowledge or skill set when it comes to hair! I went in with frizzy, lifeless hair and came out with a great cut, full of volume. She made it so simple and gave me confidence to be able to duplicate on my own. She uses products she believes in and can tell you all about. She lets you know how each one works, why it would benefit you, but without being pushy about buying them. I will definitely be returning

Casey Benson I went to this salon after finding it on Google. I had not had my hair professionally cut in years. I wanted to start taking better care of my curls. I booked an appointment with Kailey and she was so sweet. She walked me through what I would need, and what products are best to use for the look I want. My curls leaving the salon were the most defined I have had in years. Kailey explained why each product was important and helped me decide on what color treatment I would wsnt for my next service. Best experience I have had!

KellyL. Keegan Glam by Leslie is high art! She has a great deal of beauty experience and a calm confidence that is truly professional. After relocating to Sacramento I was lucky enough to be referred to Cherise Salon for precision haircuts with Mya who then referred me to Leslie for master color and volumizing magic. Leslie has been very accommodating with scheduling and takes her time with every client. Her head massage can relax me even after 2.5 hours of I-80 traffic. The salon is very comfortable in a nice part of Sacramento near the university, parking is easy and I have been told there is always someone available to trim fringe! Highly recommended and greatly appreciated.

Emma Willard Maddie is so fantastic. I have a very asymmetrical cut with strong curls and it was easily accommodated at Maverique. The venue itself is very chill and relaxed with water, coffee and tea available while waiting. Being my first time there, I gave Maddie the rundown of my last stylist and what was done, my hairs quirks, my unfortunate picky preferences lol, offered pictures, and we discussed her thoughts. Shes so technically oriented and explained everything (which I really appreciated as an engineer!). She honestly didnt even need any guidance, she easily accommodated me and cut my hair fantastically and really timely. The prices are so reasonable, overall highly recommend!

Sherrie I saw Misha on Saturday she is amazing. She gave me the best color and style I have had in years. She fit me in last minute on a Saturday afternoon, but never made me feel like I was a last minute appointment. I told her what I wanted and she exceeded my expectations. She is personable and extremely talented I could not be happier. Friends and family said my hair looked fabulous and that I looked great when they saw me later that day. She even took the time to show me how to style my own hair while she was blow drying it, and what products to use to make it look just as great when I have to do it myself. I will not go anywhere else I am a client forever! And the price was very reasonable. What more could you ask for!!! Thank you Misha!

Kristin Hawkins I have 3a/3b curly hair as a mixed race person. Amelia is the second stylist Ive had here who does AMAZING haircuts for us Curly Girls, and I bonded with her immediately. She is one of the few people to understand the stigma us curly girls feel when we go to the salon. She loves my curls, and we love her. Shes honest, capable, fair, and she cares. I adore her. Paige though! Paige was my first stylist here. She is so good at what she does...there was one cut I wasnt happy with and she was more than happy to help me fix it and feel the most beautiful I could. I am forever grateful to her, and would recommend her in a heartbeat. We got separated when I needed a cut and she wasnt available, but I really think I needed to meet Amelia. Paige, Amelia...they make us feel accepted for a reasonable price. Ive gotten two people to go to Maverique solely on my hairs behalf. I hope I can send more. 5 stars.

Jocelyn Simlick First off, this place is soo cute with the nerdy/comic book/sci-fi theme. It’s also large and open which I really enjoyed. It gives plenty of space for each artist to do their thing and provides plenty ventilation for any hair product fumes. Secondly, Shannon did my hair and she did an AMAZING life-changing transformation. She put all her knowledge and talent into the long process and I couldn’t be more pleased with the final result. Additionally, she was so friendly and made me feel extremely comfortable in her chair. I will definitely be coming back! Thank you so much Shannon and Sector 7!!

Truth Soldieress Went to Shannon with the idea I wanted to brighten up my already red hair with a much richer brighter shade instead I left with very different colors and was not even toned. She offered to fix and I wasted another few hours in her chair this time with a haircut since I was rushed out on my initial appointment. My hair is way too short and the color is awful. Before and after pictures. The before photo was taken two months ago and was even toned at least more so than it is now. She left color on my hairline and my time and money is wasted. Do not recommend. Also when someone wants a trim or to just get an even haircut that doesn’t mean chop 3 inches off.

The area seems a little weird but once I got inside I felt very safe and comfortable. Lizzie really did a wonderful job she is very friendly and easy to talk to.10/10 would definitely recommend! Matthew Lewis Great salon with a quirky sci-fi esthetic. Stylists are talented, and scheduling is open enough I have never had a problem getting an appointment with about a weeks notice. Highly recommend. Update: I will be getting my haircut here again tomorrow with my daughter. Will try to include pictures. Update 2: My partner got really pretty extentions put in. I dont understand the specifics, but her hair looks thick and pretty.

Amanda Narveson Honey salon always does an amazing job! I had severely damaged hair from over processed color. I now have healthy and beautiful and beautiful hair! Always accommodating and able to take care of any questions or concerns. Honey salon goes above and beyond! Owners are amazing as well! Kristy thank you for all your dedication with my hair. aisha j I absolutely love Honey Salon. The staff are always amazing and Kristy is an amazing colorist and hair stylist. They have wonderful products on their shelves, I especially love the Oi products. I would recommend to anyone looking for a nice haircut or to get their color touched up. My husband has gone there for men’s cuts too and even though they don’t specialize in them, they did a wonderful job for him as well.

Emily Deal Kristy has been my stylist for years, and every time I go into Honey salon I have an awesome experience! The entire staff is welcoming and friendly, and the salon is clean and super cute, but Kristy is definitely the best ever!! I have curly hair and that can be a challenge, but she always makes me look great. She’s also an amazing colorist. I’ve had every color of the rainbow as well as natural looking hair, she can do it all!

Carrie Marvin Kristy at Honey Salon is fantastic! She has a knack for understanding exactly what I want (even if I’m terrible at explaining it). She also handles my whims with grace and calms me down when I’m griping about the texture of my hair! She’s quick, efficient and knows her colors. If you’re looking for a stylist who’s down to earth, talented and listens, Kristy’s the one. The vibe at Honey Salon is also great —modern but not stuffy, and everyone is friendly.

Sam Kara is an amazing! She did a great job on my eyebrows! She’s clean, thorough, and quick! I will easily recommend her to anyone to get any sort of waxing done!

Kimberly White Finally got what I wanted without being asked a million times "are you sure?"! My inspiration is a character named Maya from a game called Borderlands 2 and 3. Its not a hard cut, just time and layering but no other stylist could get the back the way I truly wanted it without telling me no, telling me its not a smart idea or giving me their "options". I want what I want and the Fly delivered. The back is beautifully layered to the very top of my head and the tall white guy (my apologies, super bad with names) did a fantastic job without a complaint and was a superb conversationalist. Im going to come back here as long as he works here, this is my favorite place and it will be yours too!

I have curly hair and Bobbi did such a great job revamping it and had great communication before and while cutting to ensure I got what I wanted. Anna Fadum They managed to squeeze me in last minute for a simple haircut which is a plus, but Joanna doesnt understand English well enough/doesnt explain herself clear enough. She chopped off way too much and when I explicitly asked to not make face framing layers but the shortest layers in the back, she assured me that she knows what she is doing and did it anyway. I trusted that she understood what I wanted but when it was done the end result was exactly what I DIDNT want. I was so sad I was shaking. I have small kids and cant ever get out for self care. Ive been growing my hair out for over a year and thought Id finally get the haircut I wanted. So disappointed ☹️

Natalie Small Roxanne is literally the best. Always makes me feel like a Rockstar. Shes super knowledgeable and walks you through everything shes doing so your never out of the loop. She completely fixed me up after my horrible experience at a place Ill leave unnamed. Its been a work in progress but shes always had the integrity of my hair at top priority. She gained a lifetime client. The salon itself is great. Very welcoming and clean. Highly recommend.

Starla Wehrli I came here to get a haircut by Roxanne. She did an excellent job. This salon is very clean and maintained and all the staff were inviting and very nice. The whole thing was seamless and I recommend Roxanne for your hair needs! She does great hair cuts but is also a brilliant colorist!

Shara Love Phoebe is my #1! I have been going to her for upwards of 5 or 6 years now. My hair is naturally curly (loose curls not tight) and she understands how curly hair needs to be cut to look good in its natural state or when its straightened. Ive moved out of the country and I still only go to her when Im back in town to visit family. Ill never let go!!

Kendall Long Oak + Cove offers everything I need and more. They did exactly what I wanted for my hair— I left here feeling confident and vibrant. Super excited to go back. The salon also has such a cute vibe and great environment. All the staff is so kind and make you feel at home! They also offer top of the line products including Davines and Nutrafol. Nutrafol has helped my hair health tremendously after just a few weeks of using it.

Victoria Butler Massages by Nichole are nothing short of magical! I love her approach, which is more intuitive and customized, and not someone working a checklist. I’ve had two so far and both were completely different based upon what my body needed at the time. I left feeling like a lighter person. She’s gentle yet strong, utilizes all kinds of tools, and offers cupping and reiki. The vibe of the room was very relaxing and she exudes good energy.

Peyton Blankenheim-Brown Daniela at Salon Cuvee and Day Spa is absolutely wonderful! I came into the salon the other day wanting to subtly change my hair in a way that would be low maintenance when I leave for school in a couple of weeks. She recommended we do a balayage, as they are super low maintenance but still noticeable. Daniela is incredibly well-studied and knowledgeable when it comes to hair care. My hair was very dry, scraggly, and in need of some TLC when I came in (as you can see in my before pictures) but I left feeling like a brand new me! We ended up cutting 3 inches off of my hair which I was nervous about at first, but after discussing it thoroughly and seeing the difference in my hair after I’m so so so happy! She also not only told me what products I should be using to keep my hair fresh and healthy but informed me of why product is so important, explaining what each product did and how to use them at home. Getting my product was also incredibly easy, as the salon carries so many different professional brands. Overall, I am very pleased with my experience with Daniela at Salon Cuvee! My hair is so much healthier and I absolutely love my balayage! Thank you, Daniela!

Annabelle Heu Got my hair cut, deep conditioning, and blow out from pa! Can I just say she did such an amazing job on my hair. I did not care so much about my hair cut as I just wanted to get a small trim to get rid of the dead ends but she made sure that I loved it. With the deep conditioning made it my hair so soft! She even gave me a few tips of what I can do at home, which really help! Overall really great experience and I will definitely be coming back to PA for my hair services!

Christina Gannon Stay away from these scammers. All I wanted was a haircut. These people have yet to accomplish a simple hair cut. I tried calling for an appointment. The receptionist took my number and told me someone would call which is weird, why cant a receptionist make an appointment? I got a text message from ANNA which I thought was unprofessional and shady, but whatever times change. Made the appointment, then got hit with a mandatory deposit. ANNA wants $50.00 sent by cash app. $50 for a $65 hair cut. When I called her on it, ANNA got rude. These people are belligerent and will rip you off.

She does a great job and double checks her work to makes sure she didnt miss anything. I didnt do my part as a customer and had some issues on my end but Kaya was very understanding and super accommodating! Book her for your waxing needs! Laura Clayson My hair is very difficult to deal with. Its baby fine, and was in a very unhealthy state with breakage. I wanted a new look and shorter hair with bold color. I went to 2 other salons and was unable to find anyone that thought they could deliver what I wanted until I finally had a consult with Kim. I could tell she was an experienced professional by the consult and booked an appointment. I have asked for chunkier highlights/bolder color before and never quite got what I wanted. I have also asked for the type of hair cut she gave me and was told it wouldnt work with my hair. Well, Kim didnt disappoint. I am SUPER happy with both the cut and color. And I know its not something a newbie in the business could pull off. I recognize the talent and appreciate that someone FINALLY was able to give me what I want! Thank you Kim!

Sammantha Mays I got my haircut in the beginning of January by Karly and had a fantastic experience. I haven’t gotten a professional haircut in a while and Karly didn’t disappoint. She provided a thorough consultation and a great cut, and was super friendly and helpful the whole time. The salon itself was really beautiful and had a positive atmosphere! I like that a wash was provided and great quality products were used. My haircut is growing out great and when the time comes I’ll be coming back!

melissa stull I came here to get a color match and extensions installed by marcella and these are by far the best extensions in Sacramento. Her coloring skills are impressive she is extremely knowledgeable and very good at what she does. The salon itself is very nice and has a good amount of space inside and a good selection of the top hair care products. All the stylist are friendly and welcoming as well.

Amber Beauchamp I’ve been coming to this location for a few years, I’ve had different stylists over time. Everyone here has been fantastic, no complaints! I recently had Monica G. do my hair, she was very kind, did exactly what I wanted, but also provided knowledgeable suggestions to improve my hair!

Rebecca Stinson Monica is the best! She does an amazing job with my highlights. If you want to go blonde she’s definitely your girl! She’s very informative and takes the time to make sure you feel beautiful and confident when you walk out of the salon. Very cozy, welcoming environment at the salon and all the staff are sweet peas!

Valari Byrn Love love love Norma! Love her style, colors, she can do anything for your skin, face, hair, and nails. Her staff is talented too. Shes creative, professional and thoughtful. The salon is kept clean and organized. I promise, come, you will be glad so you did.

Amala Anand This hair salon is fantastic! They were able to fit me in last minute and the results were amazing. I am very satisfied with the work did on my hair. They were able to create the exact look I was going for. The stylist who did my hair was very polite and respectful, and she did an excellent job creating the look I wanted.

Samantha Chan Male hairstylist doesn’t know how to work with Asian hair. I went to someone else who knows what she’s doing and she said he really damaged my hair. He also was terrible at first impressions. Wasted so much money, I would never come back or recommend Sassi salon to poc.

Margosha R This review is long overdue. Somehow we tend to complain more than praise others. I hope for that to change this year. My hairdresser is Royce and I have followed him when he had to switch salons simply because he knows what I want the best. I have given other hairstylists a chance and have tried to color my own hair only to return to Royce eventually. I like that I do not have to explain a lot to him what I want, and in almost twenty years he recommends variations to my style or color and I listen. The bond that we have I have learned to appreciate with years and I hope I dont loose it. Thank you Royce!!

Trish P Forgot to post a review. Nice place. Asked for a balayage and showed the second pic of what I was thinking (a cut and dye from her IG that she did.) The first pic is me with what looks like highlights. I believe I was there for about 4-5 hours - one reason it took forever; never a good thing when your stylist says “uh oh” yeah, she made the color a little too bright and had to redo. Razor cut took a century long and Looks the same as what scissors would do. On top of the toner mess-up, let got with some pretty wet hair because there was another client waiting. I knew the price was going to be pretty steep but she could have at least gave a discount for the mess up. Will not be back. Price tag 200+ and tip. I took this photo of my hair when I got home and after I dried it. Realized I didn’t care for it. I asked a few people if they thought my hair was balayage or highlights and every person said highlights. The color was supposed to be subtle light brown not copper.

Lourdes Bernal Brianna Baer has been cutting/styling my hair for the last four years (THANK YOU!) and I swear, I fall in love with myself a little more after each cut! Do yourself a favor and book an appointment with them NOW. I simply cannot recommend Brianna enough.

Ava I just had my bangs trimmed by Nichole and she really respected the old cut that I had. She did an excellent job, and I love the clips she gave because they’re actually exactly what I need. I haven’t gone to the salon itself, but, I feel like I could trust Nichole with my hair any day. I love my current stylist and like to be loyal, but oh my goshhhh I know where I’d be going next if I ever had to. Thank you so much for the bangs cut. You’ve saved me!
