Rachel Richard Rocio always does a fantastic cutting my hair! She manages my layers and bangs well, always squeezes me in whenever I call, and has helped me get my hair so strong and healthy. She has established my hair style for me in a way that flatters my facial features. I highly recommend!

Jennifer Castro This salon is the cutest place I have seen in Bakersfield! The owner is as sweet as can be and the whole crew makes you feel like family! Joey is my stylist and he has been a blessing! After a surgery I was saddened by sudden hair loss and in despair and tears in my eyes I thought I was going to have to cut it all off! Ayyah B Brittany has been my hairstylist for almost a year now and she is amazing and very attentive at what she does. Pedro Cota-Valenzuela This salon is so atheistically pleasing. It definitely has to be the best I’ve been to here in bakersfield. The receptionist is so friendly and sweet, definitely recommending this place to all my friends!

Enly Solis I love Christopher. He really makes you feel beautiful. He listens to what you are looking for; that’s probably my favorite part. I have curly hair and I am so cautious about what products I put in my hair. But he did such a great job listening to what I was looking for and offered me products that he has used and had great results with. He also teaches you while he is showing you the products so he’s telling you how he would use the product in the hair which I really appreciated. See you soon Christopher.

A E This is the second time coming to this salon. The first time, I did a walk-in and was assigned to April. I recommend on setting up an appointment. She is super nice and does a great job on my super thick hair. I showed her a picture of what look I was going for and she achieved it. She’s not pushy on selling products (like some other hair stylists) and she is very helpful when I have questions regarding how to style my hair. Abraham Izquierdo I was a walk-in. Anaiz did an awesome job bleaching my hair. I get a lot of compliments from people telling me how natural it looks. Thank you so much, Anaiz and Simply Salon. Price was also very fair. Will definitely come back if I need anything else.

Katelyn Sproles My mom went to get a haircut at twisted hair nails located in this building. She was supposed to see a hairdresser named dawn, from the get-go even before the appointment over text she acted as It was an inconvenience to have to do my mothers hair, My mother has a very beautiful long luxurious shiny hair. There should be no reason why she would not do a simple haircut. We walked in, she was very snobby very rude didnt even look at my moms hair. Seen a piece of dandruff and yelled to the whole salon you have lice. I will not do your hair, My mother and I are very careful with our hair It means a lot to us. We know damn well that we do not have lice. If I could give this place negative stars I would. My mother is mortified and we will not be returning

Carina Allen This review is for (Bloom To Beauty ) hair stylist (Maria) normally she has done great work on my hair and others that I have referred her to , however if you wish to have highlights or gray hair she is not the stylist to come to, it was my sons birthday and he wanted gray highlights in his hair and she absolutely did not deliver, I couldn’t even see any highlights??? (Barley there) and they were light blonde… yes, she did try and dye it back to black afterwards but at this point we were just over it , sadly I will not recommend her anymore and will not be coming back.

Andy Brandy Half of the doors are closed even though Google shows their work times are till 7pm and I was there at 5pm. If you plan to close doors before, change your work times please. I wasted 20 minutes trying to find anyone available. Then head over to Great Clips and got my daughters haircut done within 30 minutes. I will not return to Sola Salons since you cannot walk-in to get a hair cut. If you plan to visit them, call and get an appointment or else you will be disappointed just like me.

Linda Oliver I thought this place was absolutely beautiful, and people friendly even the clients as well as the technician. I was looking for HotHez by Lisa in #16 and other people saw I was lost,and came out to help me. Pretty nice people. This place was set up Beautiful and really clean, thanks so much, It felt so peaceful and relaxing, a place of comfort. I Love it.

Janelle Simone Green, Esq. Iyenemi is the best at everything. She recently did a bob weave for me that drew lots of compliments. She is always on time and always courteous. She has a degree in Biology so she understands the science of hair and the #Art of Beauty. The best part is the shop only accommodates 1 #client at a time so you dont have to share germs with a room full of people! Everyone is a VIP in Iyenemis chair. Highly recommend.

Akira Ito As my mom and dad were getting their haircuts, my mom began talking shit about my gender during her haircut, saying how I am influenced to be queer by tiktok(trans people have always existed throughout history). The hair dresser proceeded to agree + talk bad about me in front of the whole store. Horrible customer service. It was at suite/room 27 when you first enter the salon. I went through depression and suicide and their mean remarks only made me feel worse. Shame on you, get better staff. For context, I am 14 years old and had always felt transgender(MtF).

Allie C Great space for hair stylists to rent out their own space. Clean and a great environment. The owners of the building need to get a handle on their A/C, it felt like the heater was on in the middle of summer. The suite was okay though.

Iris Fuentes Carlos is the sweetest man! He was able to squeeze me in and upon arrival his puppy noir came to greet me!! I came in for a trim, I told him that I wanted to keep my length and he did just that. I also didn’t bring cash and do not have venmo so he let me go to the corner store and get cash! So please ladies and gents have cash or venmo ready for your visit!!

Rachel Ward Sometimes even a hair cut builds the memories bonding a family. Brenda graciously took us in and gave my two daughters the most amazing hair cuts, in fact she gave them exactly what they requested. While waiting, I enjoyed the company of Carlos and his best fur buddy Noir. We truly felt at home here. I would recommend this place to all of Bakersfield. You will find the most amazing, kind artists in this hidden gem on Bernard Street. You can rest assured you will get what you ask for and be treated like family when you walk through their door. Thank you for making my daughters winter formal memory amazing! We will be back.

Pam Ross Had my first visit at Studio B today and it was well worth it. A lady named Vicki did my hair. I showed her a pic of what I wanted and she did my hair exactly like the pic I showed her. I was very pleased. She is also very warm and friendly. I will definitely return to her again. She did a super job and she has my business from now on,

Monika McMahan I was looking for a new Salon for having an annual hair trimm, so I checked out on line to find the best reviews on a Salon and came upon this Studio B, since I had been nearby after coming from the Hospital, I stopped by at approx. 10:30 am on this Wednesday to inquire information about Haircut and Appointments but I was not able to enter this Establishment for the Security door was locked, (understandably so, considering the Neighborhood) was greeted by a Lady but was not invited as a potential Customer that only was looking for as good Beautician that understands my wishes. So, I asked if I would have to make an Appointment and her answer was "yes" but she did not offer to establish one for me right than and there. What an unprofessional act toward a Customer though. No thanks, despite the other positive feedbacks given by happy Customers. Did not get Service here

Kaitlyn Jensen I loved my hair dresser! I had Alyssa and she was amazing! She was so friendly and cared for my hair health! She also did a fantastic job and getting the color I want! It was more expensive than I thought it was going to be, but overall a great experience!

Marina Ruiz I went to via Bella salon for the first time in July and got my hair dyed for the first time by Norma and everything looked great amazing even but after washing my hair all the dye fell out and I told her and she made me a new appointment but that new appointment never came my hair turned an mixture of yellow green and blue and just looks out right bad and I paid $180 and didn’t get no type of compensation or a refund and she was a nice person but after that she stopped responding to book a new appointment because I cancelled due to an issue then she proceeded to send me a message talking about how she went out of her way to buy a new product for me and it was just unprofessional it’s been since July 8th and I still haven’t my hair fixed and it is September 17th $180 dollars wasted for something that washed right out

Emma Brown Just got a haircut with one of their best staff, and the service was top-notch! Shes super friendly and really nailed the details. Im loving my fresh hair. The reception was awesome too, they even hooked me up with some refreshments while I waited. Definitely gonna be a regular!

I go to her to change hair colors, haircuts every 3 months and Brazilian Blowouts, etc. I feel beautiful every time I leave her chair and everybody compliments me on my hair everywhere I go because it is so bouncy and radiant. She has prescribed hair products and hair tools to me so I can keep up with my hair styles and colors. I recommend her hair services to everyone who is looking for a hairstylist that they can trust with their hair.

Laura Vargas Go to Rocio for all of your nail needs! Manicure, pedicure, soft gel or acrylics. Shes super talented and always a fun way to spend your time getting pampered. Never have any complaints with her work. Highly recommend.

Yamilka Coca Best Service! Lucia is an amazing stylist. I have been going to her for years. She listens to your needs and is a great listener for your troubles. Very reasonably priced. They have a new nail artist, Rocio, that has great prices and takes her time doing your nails. Highly recommend and she accepts walkins.

Jeffrey Jackson Made a haircut appointment 24 hours in advance with Edith for 10 am on a recent day. Two hours before the appointment she texts that she "forgot" she already had an appointment for that time. It happened to be for a perm, more expensive than a haircut. So either she confirmed my appointment without checking her schedule, which would be poor practice, or she was lying. She suddenly realized this perm appointment 2 hours before my appointment? Fortunately for me, I located another salon that same day.

Monika McMahan I make this my go to Salon, Terry D. has saved my day again as I was a walk-in, she gave me the Hairstyle I wanted and is very reasonable in Price. Very friendly and Professional in all Aspects. From now I will do my part, in making an Appointment which would be best anyway. This Salon has a nice Ambiance and Staff is very friendly the Moment of Entry I am very pleased with this down to Earth Salon. Next I try a pedicure to get here too.

Queensizedfun1 Very friendly ladies, clean salon. Efficient timewise. Ashley is the one who did my hair and gave me exactly what I asked for. Decent stock of product for various types of hair. They even carry a line thats marketed toward men. This salon is in the Trader Joes parking lot.

Linda Olson Review of this place was not accurate. I’m still trying to recover from a haircut from Cathy. Wanted a shape and trim (per a photo I bought) and end up after 45 minutes in the chair, with a pixie (which was cut on dry hair). People really need to review accurately for the rest of us. Oh, and it cost $45 plus tip.

Jennifer Klein I can’t speak for everyone at the salon, but after my experiences I wouldn’t recommend Hallie Dikeman. In all of my time I have never had an experience like I did this last time. She colored my hair & was supposed to cut it, but forgot & asked that I come back as she already styled it. It was a bit of a hassle (as I live an hour away from the salon), but I came back for the haircut…not the end of the world. Before coming back for my cut I noticed there were sections in my hair that were quite orange-y (my hair is supposed to be brown with icey blond highlights), & pointed this out to her. She then responded with “I don’t see it” while I pointed directly at it. Then she says I can put some toner on it, but not today (even though she didn’t have any clients after me & was just going to leave), which I even said “ok, I’ll come back next week”, & I thought that was it. When I followed up with her once I knew my schedule she said she would need to collect $75 (to fix her mistake). Never in all my time have I had a stylist require me to pay for a color correct. After talking to 3 other stylists I know (2 barbers that are trained in coloring, but don’t do it & a new stylist I will now be going to), they all IMMEDIATELY saw the orange & all said the same thing “she didn’t fully & accurately tone your hair”. On top of that, she forgot my haircut twice (which is supposed to be included in the haircut). I’d dismiss it as forgetfulness, but she always managed to recommend add-on services. Btw, if you go, don’t bother with the K18 mask…you can buy an entire bottle for about half the cost of one treatment on amazon. Save yourself some money & heartache & don’t go to Hallie D.

Dylan B AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!! Our hairstylists Victoria and Hallie did an awesome job. My friend and I got our hair dyed together at the same time, same day. So happy with how my hair turned out, I got an ashy bleach for my entire head. Super fun and would recommend to anyone who needs to get their hair done at a salon. Thanks to my hairstylist Victoria for doing an awesome job and making the right calls. Go to Unity for a fun, professional experience!

Amy Mulligan I called for a same day apt. They got me in no problem. Everyone was super nice and the shop was really cool. They were able to to a gray color and fix a horrible pixie cut that I had got previously. Thank you Brittany!

Michelle Hartman Still waiting on my hair extensions to be returned to me. Stylist held onto them n took them home. Been trying for months to get my very expensive hair extensions returned to me. Very surprised by her behavior. May have to file with the courts to either get my hair returned to me or the money i had paid for them. Very sad and disappointing she was a great hair stylist. Understand she been on maternity leave. But this has gone on too long and now no responses. They all seemed very professional. Had a great experience with them till this. Will be including the salon in my civil suit if hair isnt returned. Have been trying for a year or more now. Stylist stopped returning my text messages. Kinda heartbreaking to end this way. Would of highly recommended them if it hadnt been for all this now.

Dakota Warren Hair Solutions is a great salon! The prices are fair, and everyone is so friendly. Gina always cuts my hair, and I never leave disappointed. She is fantastic at dye jobs, as well. I have never seen someone put together a color so well. I have been coming to this salon for years, and dont plan on changing anytime soon.

My haircut looks great straight or with my natural texture which is curly :)

Huong Nguyen I came on a Saturday which was a busy day. The owner Leslie was really nice and asked if anyone was available to do my hair and Tiffany said she would. Ariana Leal This is my honest Review it’s not to bash anybody or the salon . I came here about 3 to 4 weeks ago to get a last-minute install as I happen to be in town and I needed my hair done for a party. I reached out to the salon. They put me in contact with the stylist and I happened to get booked within the two hours. I get there nice location, The salon was beautiful. I’m getting my hair done with Priscilla and we’re having a good time chit chatting getting to know eachother. After two hours and a half I realize that she was taking too long, Usually my installs only take 2hrs30min. She took 5hrs! Left there at 7:30pm! Throughout my appointment, she was telling me how she underquoted me and It was supposed to be more.. but upon booking an appointment, I was very specific in what I wanted which was 300Grams and she agreed with 300$. As she was doing my hair, she was being very messy with the itips extensions , dropping the on the floor , stepping on them , getting it tangled. At the end of the appointment I was picking up my extensions from the floor all tangled and stepped on, which I thought was rude because all that hair was supposed to go on my head and I made specific in what I wanted. I understand that she’s was not used to Client like myself because I was asking her if this was the most hair she’s ever installed on a client and she agreed, and said her clients usually only get 100grams.. I only got 170 grams installed on my head and I wanted 300grams. But that wasn’t my frustration, my problem was how sloppy the install was. It looks like something Beginners do. I feel like she was overwhelmed and Just wanted to get my hair with. I enjoyed my conversations and time with her. She’s a really sweet woman but I wish she would’ve been honest and said something like she’s never done extensions with 300g but she can try , I would of glady accept thatt. Instead of being dissapointed.

When I come here, the results always last such a long time and they are great at giving advice on aftercare. It is a relaxing, clean environment every single time I go and everyone is always so friendly!

Christina Vangie is wonderful! I have had many things done with her. Lash lift, lash tint, eye brow wax, eyebrow tint, and upper lip wax. Everytime I am pleased with the results. She makes me feel relaxed and comfortable every visit. I will continue to see her for her services :)
