Williams Tony (Tony) This is truly an awesome church. We drive all the way from Bremerton because we get fed Gods word here. I actually wanted to find a church closer to home, but I cant find one that is as biblically sound as this one. The teaching notes we get every Sunday are a great way to help learn Gods word. The small groups are awesome, and Pastor Virgil is a true man of God, kind of funny too. The whole team and vibe here is Godly, and we welcome you, come as you are and get ready to be blessed by Gods Living Word.

Brandon Couch Just moved to the Port Orchard area and found CLC! The message is based on the Bible, not a lot of sugar coating, but its also so authentic. The music is great too and current. Pastor Virgil is down to earth and super genuine which these days its hard to find in a pastor. One thing we love as a family is the kids ministry too. Its a safe place security wise and our kids have fun. CLC is an amazing church and is going to be the next BIG church in the whole Kitsap area. We love being a part of this church! Come check it out!

Katie Stephenson Our experience with Orser’s Acres of Fun has been exceptional! The teachers are nurturing and attentive who create a safe, and welcoming environment for our child to thrive in. The curriculum is well-rounded creating a balance of play-based learning and structured activities. Our son has excelled in not only his academics but with his social skills. We highly recommend Jaymi and her team!

Josh Maxwell Our son goes to the school. The staff is incredible. Theres a noticeable uptick in his advanced socialization skills since beginning here. He is an only child and has been exposed to exactly what was necessary to learn sharing at a young age. They take the time to explain to the kids. Whats necessary and explain everything to the parents that one would need to know. The community approach of the pre-school is exactly what we were looking for. Highlight the prices are fair and we highly recommend them.

Ashlee fritz My son started off scared and not sure how he felt about being dropped off to loving preschool and learning so much! He loves Jaymi & all the staff and gets so excited to see them everyday. The structure of classes is done so well and really prepares them for school in the future. The teachers will give you updates on your child and make sure you always know what is going on. I am so glad we found this preschool they have truly been such a blessing for my son in so many ways.

Liz oien This preschool has changed my child’s life for the better. I can’t say enough positive things regarding the teachers and the owner Terri who everyday meet the kids with open arms and huge smiles. You can tell they put in the work to care about the well being of your child. They have really fun lessons and come up with awesome science experiences that my little one was mesmerized by. The facility is well laid out and clean, but more than that you can feel the warmth when walking in the door. I would give them 100 stars if I could. My child has thrived and I’m very particular. THANK YOU, for having the patience to keep up the hard work and dedication that our kids need.

Mandy Walker My daughter has spent the last 2 years in preschool at Tiny Notes and has absolutely loved her time here. She has grown in so many ways and they have been extremely accommodating with working around my work schedule for drop off/pick up and with closures. I plan on signing up my younger daughter next year when she is 3 to begin her preschool journey with them!

Meghan Wimer We’ve been with Tiny Notes for a few years and my two sons love it. We’ve experienced the thoughtfulness of the staff and teachers, receiving proactive, regular updates after inquiring about a certain topic. While we have seen a number of staff come and go, they’ve all been there for the kids. The boys are happy to go to school and enjoy the music, activities and learning that goes along with it. It’s been a source of joy for our family.

Jenai Orwin My son has attended tiny notes for the last school year, and we have been so impressed! Our son went into school barely talking, and less than a year later he’s talking his little head off, he can count, knows his abcs, and is becoming a social butterfly. They are always so incredibly patient with him, even though he has the willpower and stubbornness of a bull sometimes. If he isn’t happy with the teacher checking him in, they immediately will go grab a teacher he’s comfortable with. He has pretty bad separation anxiety from me, but here he runs right back and barely says goodbye. We’ve already enrolled him for the next year to guarantee our little guy will have a spot in this wonderful community. We highly recommend this school, and the incredible teachers/employees!

Dianna Lee LOVE the Multicultural Childrens Center here in Port Orchard! As a mother of four children, I have utilized many different types of childcare services including nannys and have never found a more supportive, caring and educational environment for my children. My child has several food allergies and the staff here are kind enough to go out of their way to make sure he has daily meals catered specifically to his dietary restrictions, which are many and sometimes changing. Overall, we are feeling very blessed to have such a wonderful home away from home right here in our community! The staff are beyond amazing and wonderful people to whom our family is so absolutely grateful for, always going above and beyond to provide the best for our children. My child loves it here and always has positive things to say about teachers and friends at school.

Jenna Ryan I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Multicultural Children’s Center. My daughter has been attending this program now for some time, and it has been a truly transformative experience for her. One of the standout aspects of the center is its bilingual program. My daughter now speaks more clearly in English and has started speaking some Spanish, which has been such a joy to witness. The program’s approach to teaching language feels natural and immersive, allowing children to begin picking up a second language while having fun and interacting with their peers. The structure of the program is another key highlight. Some parents may feel that the level of structure isn’t for them, but I personally find it invaluable. The teachers provide consistent guidance and support to help the children make good choices every day. This structure has given my daughter reassurance and a sense of security, which I believe has been critical to her growth. She is thriving in this environment, learning to follow routines, and developing great habits that will serve her well for years to come. Since starting at the center, my daughter has blossomed in so many ways. She’s become much less picky about food, trying new dishes and eating a much more varied diet than before. I’ve also noticed her confidence grow as she builds friendships and navigates her daily activities. The staff at the center are truly exceptional, but special recognition goes to Ruth and Leanne. They have become like family to my daughter, and we will deeply miss their warmth, care, and incredible dedication. Their ability to connect with the children on such a personal level is unmatched. Unfortunately, we are moving to New York, and leaving this center will be one of the hardest parts of our transition. It’s not easy to find a childcare program that combines bilingual education, a structured environment, and a nurturing staff so seamlessly. I can wholeheartedly recommend Multicultural Children’s Center to any family looking for a place where their child can learn, grow, and thrive.

Jessica Outlaw I cannot say enough about this place. Our daughter has attended this school full time for a year now and soon she will move on to Kindergarten MORE than prepared to excel and flourish. A few things we love, though there are too many to name: Qualified and caring staff Bilingual (Spanish) curriculum Hands on activities / cultural experiences SAFE setting with locked doors and clear procedures Excellent parent/teacher communication Easy to use App that keeps us informed throughout the day Routines that encourage good behavior If you need childcare/preschool for your little ones I 100% recommend this place. You will not be disappointed!

sara I would not send my child anywhere else. If you want a nurturing, loving and highly educational place for your preschooler, Bright Beginnings is the place to send them. They keep classroom sizes small for a very intimate experience which benefits their learning. The teachers facilitate an atmosphere where every child feels valued and cared for. Both my children went through two years of this program and every step of the experience was excellent! We will forever have great memories because of them.

Bridget Cryder Both of my children attended Bright Beginnings Preschool for a total of four years. I’m so thankful for the experience they had. Leaving your children with someone else can be hard, but they immediately loved Mrs. Kemper and Mrs. Stephens (as did I). They were excited for school and always felt special. The teachers went above and beyond, always taking into consideration each child’s personality and my children learned so much. I recommend Bright Beginnings to anyone in search of a Preschool for your children.

Alexis Newton I cannot express enough how wonderful Bright Beginnings Preschool and the staff truly are. The teachers are incredibly compassionate and they sincerely love what they do. We are forever grateful that our children had the opportunity to attend and grow as much as they did. The Bright Beginnings curriculum and school setting allowed for our kids to excel in kindergarten and beyond.

Leslie Hunt We love it at this school! My daughter is currently in her 2nd year at Adventureland. Last year she was in the 3 yr old class, this year she’s in Pre-K. We love the teachers. They know how to make each student feel special and they love each and every child. When we were looking for a preschool it was important to us that it was centered around God and Jesus. We love how each lesson incooperated the Bible and a bible lesson. I would recommend this school to anyone!

Jennifer Young I would recommend Adventureland preschool to any family looking for a positive, warm learning environment for their child. The teachers at Adventureland are so dedicated to their students. The curriculum pairs so well with the kindergarten benchmarks and it equips students for success in their academic career. I love the addition of music, Spanish and science that they do as well!

Mark Vickerman My child is currently attending Adventureland Preschool and I must say that I am so impressed! Her mom and I came across Adventureland from Google search and thought, let’s give it a try. We really didn’t know much about it and just hoped for the best. Well let me tell you how amazing this place is and how much the staff truly cares for all the children here. I am fortunate enough to be able to take her to school once a week and pick her up as well from time to time. I have also been on a field trip with the class which was a lot of fun. The classrooms are very clean and well kept. They have an amazing new playground too. Please take a look at Adventureland. You won’t be disappointed! Mark.

Jennifer Lieseke This is a wonderful preschool focused on children learning through play. My oldest attended a few years ago and was more than prepared for kindergarten when he started. My youngest just completed his first year and learned so much. He adores Miss Angela and his classmates and asks daily if he gets to go to school today. Love that as a parent I am able to be involved with the classroom , and it is nice to get to know the other families.

Christa A Absolutely loved this place! I wish I had my daughter in it sooner. Teachers, helpers and kids were all so loving, welcoming and just all around fantastic. My daughter only went one year but she really learned so much. Super thankful for all three of the amazing ladies that run this place. Wish I could give it a million stars.

Jennifer Shaffer I LOVE the family atmosphere at this school! We really enjoy being able to participate in class with our daughter and her classmates. She adores her teacher Miss Angela, and has excelled this past year. We have become such good friends with all of the other parents, and our daughter considers all of her classmates her best friends. Miss Angela is so open and willing to listen to any suggestions. I highly recommend this school to anyone who wants to really be a part of their childs preschool experience!

Lauren Kutz Wonderful teachers who truly care about the children and their wellbeing. The center is consistently being upgraded, they’re always going the extra mile to ensure the kids have something to look forward to, and I feel good knowing my daughter is surrounded by knowledgeable and kind people.

Katie Jones Costly - no two week notice. Wasn’t even there two weeks? No option to solve problem, just collect payment and discharge child from care. Was really hoping to love this school, instead let down majorly. If your child has issues transitioning as any toddler may, good luck. Their staff is limited.

Karla Garcia I do not recommend this school if your child has a hard temperament, impulse control, ADHD, or any learning disabilities. They don’t have enough staff to work with your child one on one, because it takes away from the other children. I wish this school empowered parents with more knowledge & resources to help with the overall development of a child given whatever situation they’re struggling in. If your child has a very easy temperament & independent this could be your school.

Heather Jaynes My children love this school! I have a son in the "house" and a daughter in the "cottage", and both are wonderful places to play and learn! Im always surprised at what my son comes home talking about, from making dandelion cookies (with eggs from the schools chickens) to working on his alphabet workbook. They do such a wonderful job of fostering a love of learning, as well as work on life skills (blowing a nose, washing dishes). The teachers are wonderful and caring, I know my children are in a safe environment here. I love everything about Knowledge House, and were so lucky to have found it!

Deanna Bush UPDATE: I wanted to update my previous review (see the looooooooooong one below about how well this worked for my two developmentally delayed toddlers). My children are in elementary school now, and I continue to see my decision to place my kids at Knowledge House to be an excellent one. My kids started kindergarten academically ahead of their peers, and having already developed the social skills necessary for elementary school. They could work well with others, treat each other and adults with respect, and solve problems peacefully. I see the influence of their education at Knowledge House sneaking out in all sorts of positive ways: they shake hands with people and are confident when sharing their ideas, they include others in their play and notice when someone is left out, they love to explore and learn new things, and they use many different ways to solve problems. Mark and Valerie make this preschool a place for children to grow and learn at their own pace, and where children develop a sense of community and self-confidence. PREVIOUS REVIEW: I am floored that this preschool could get anything but positive reviews, especially from children who are developmentally different -- the 2 star, site-approved review from the annoyed parent of the "Steve Jobs level" kid is the absolute opposite of our experience and those of my childrens friends there. My developmentally disabled children began at Knowledge house when they were almost 3 years old, and have attended for 3 incredible years. Because of their developmental delays, learning differences and disabilities, most private preschools wouldnt take them or had environments that would fail them. But, we tried Knowledge House and it went incredibly well. The teachers truly believe in supporting children and following their lead and strengths. One of my children is academically advanced, but socially behind -- at Knowledge House, he bloomed in both areas. They happily helped him with works that he enjoyed and found challenging, and also supported his behavior and social skill needs. He will enter kindergarten above grade level in reading and math-- something he pursued because he enjoys it and which the preschool supported. In the last 3 years, he has grown confident and developed a strong circle of friends, and has the social skills to tackle public elementary school. My other child is more typical but was afraid and anxious when he first started preschool. The teachers at Knowledge house worked with immeasurable patience to help him overcome his fears and gain confidence. They went out of their way to create an environment where he felt safe and well loved. He worked on his academics at his own pace and has done marvelously. He has also thrived in their calm, child-centered space. Both my children love the work areas and the outdoor garden and play yard--which have a simple, natural feel that is typical Montessori. They love the rabbits and the strawberries in the garden. The free time at the end of the day has helped them develop strong friendships. As for work that comes home: if you want crafty/cutesy stuff (which is often developmentally inappropriate), this isnt the place for that. The activities kids do here are about helping the kids develop and learn. My kids brought home papers that clearly showed the gradual development of their fine-motor and letter/number skills. They also brought home beautiful, natural projects--felted soaps theyd made themselves, plants in folded newspaper pots that they had made/planted/grown themselves, etc. We love Knowledge House. Mr. Mark and Mrs. Valerie have made a positive difference in the lives of our family and my children. It is mostly thanks to this incredible place that my children are more than ready for kindergarten academically and socially. I cannot recommend it highly enough.
