Savana Smith My son has been attending Guidepost since their opening day, for nearly 6 months. I cannot stress enough how amazing the team is at this school. Prior to attending, my little one had been slightly delayed in learning words and independence. Now, he is a chatter box, he is much more confident, and they are supporting the release of his security blanket (slowly!). They get structured play time, where they are able to learn new skills and develop their interests. He tries new foods and interacts with other children his age, while learning about respect and kindness.
My biggest fear was leaving my son in a day care environment where the kids just “survive” until it’s time for pick ups. This is absolutely NOT the case at Guidepost. Their team is proactive, engaging, and warm. Thank you to Angel and Guidepost!

AnnaLeeza Allen No just no. Don’t even think about pulling into their parking lot without being yelled at by a random staff member. Not even the security. The security hasn’t said a single word to me but that lady let out all her morning frustrations out on someone who was looking for a parking spot. Never going in here again.
Let me reword that better: I was looking for a parking spot because I had an apt with my child to check that place out and get some paperwork. But I unfortunately did not even make it into the building because I was harassed before I had even been able to park. I drove away and never looked back after that. I pass this place all the time and I just have a bad taste in my mouth every time.
You can also keep your copy and paste replies. Doesn’t even take the time to address complaints. Just copy and paste and “I’m sorry” to all bad reviews. These people really do not care.

Sarah Benner If you value care, consistency, communication, and cleanliness, GM-Kent is not for you. Unfortunately, this “school” is lacking in leadership support, management presence, Montessori-certified staff along with support staff, and an overall passion for fostering a sense of community. The admins have continuously overpromised and underdelivered with unreliable follow up, and it’s apparent that the school has lost its direction. My children have never been in a classroom with a Montessori-certified guide in the two plus years since the school opened, and the management has not implemented improvements or ensured staff accountability in updating student progress or sharing important updates with families about what is happening in the classroom. I’m not aware of the curriculum that’s being followed, and if there is one, it has not been communicated. Most importantly, when asked to review the video footage after my child in the Nido room came home with 4 head bumps over the course of one week, we were told that the footage was not available to view (a different story than we were told when we first registered) and that we just needed to “trust” what had been shared with us, which included learning that there was an obvious blind spot in the infant classroom. Save yourself the heartache and frustration…our experience in trying to get support for our concerns has been extremely disheartening and disappointing, prompting us to withdraw our kids from the school. Also, it’s been two years, please fix the bowed shelves above the children’s sink areas. This is a hazard!
