5 /5 Amber Tabares: My husband and I have been attending for a couple years and we really love it. When my husband first started going he wasnt a believer but he loved the preaching so much because of its relevancy that he finally came to Christ last year and was just baptized this past fathers day. The music is a nice mix of modern contemporary praise as well as the old familiar hymns all played by a live band. They have Sunday school for ages 4 to highschool and a great nursery for the little ones. They also have two Sunday morning services which is nice for the late risers.

Well I go there, so it has to be the best, well... the best place for someone like me, someone who has gone through broken times, and needed to hear the gospel spoken from the pulpit in ways my hard ears could hear, and hardened heart could understand. This church is more then just a bunch of people getting together to listen to a sermon, they are people who have also walked through life, through pain, and have still found healing from God and continue to speak life into the Shelton Community. For me finding a church is not about finding a glorified country club, I want something real, real gospel, real people being real about there struggles, And I found that, and feel like I am part of a group of friends I am thankful to call my brothers and sisters.

5 /5 Alice Nilsson: I love fbc because first of all it is Gods house.Secondly we have pastor Jake who is the most wonderful pastor any church could have. The church is warm and friendly. They many good programs for all ages. First Baptist Church is my church and I love being a part of it.

5 /5 T C: Thank you for being an awesome light in our community. After looking at many churches, we finally found FBC. The doctrine is rock solid and the church is active and alive. Many of the churches we visited just seemed dead; at FBC you can feel the genuine realness and the Holy Spirit working in this community. This church also offers many programs for your children, youth and adults. It does take awhile to get to know people as it is a bigger church; however, they are setting up social activities and opportunities to remedy this common problem in larger churches.
