Monkey Dooz Salon Spa & Boutique - Richland (WA)

2 /5 Brittnee Lommers: The haircut was good and really fast. However, there were like 4 adults just sitting around that appeared to work there, but only one person cutting hair. And they each had a child with them that was just running around the salon. There were toys in a corner, which was nice, but they were completely covered in hair. One girl was climbing all over the cars you sit in for haircuts and no one was watching her. We were the only clients there. The Jeep we chose to sit in was also dirty.

3 /5 Jackie Cone: I really wanted to love this place. Ive heard and read great things about it but my experience was not that case. I do want to start off by saying I took my toddler in and he was not happy to start off with (hence the three stars). Check in was fine, not too long of a wait. When we were called back, the little jeep my little one sat in was pretty dirty. I understand its a hair salon and theres obviously going to be hair but between that and it actually needing a wipe down it was a little gross. The haircut starts and my little one is unhappy. I distract him by playing some coco melon. However, in general it seemed like the stylist was struggling. About 10 min later were off the chair, the stylist doesnt even wipe his hair down nor anything. So I ask for a towel, and she hands me a dirty one. I pay AND tip. I get back home and notice he has a bald spot on the back of his head and his edges are terrible. One side of his head is more trimmed than the other. Really sad and disappointed with the experience and haircut.

5 /5 Shyla Hill: Have used Monkey Dooz and specifically Rain to do my kids hair the last 2 years! She does great work. My kids are active and move a lot and she takes the time to to distract and re direct them to get them to where they need to be and gets their hair cuts done quickly and perfect. My kids always have an enjoyable experience and never sad to hop in the cars to get a cut from Rain. I learned at our last appointment that she’s even about 6 months pregnant and that baby bump didn’t slow her down, she did amazing!

5 /5 Colleen Wilson: Our stylist had so much patience and kindness with my toddler who was having a bad day. And his haircut turned out very well despite him not sitting still.
