5 /5 Berenice Ruiz: I had an amazing experience at Moda Organic Salon with Emma Rose. She took the time to understand exactly what I wanted even though I couldn’t really express what was on my mind. She offered great suggestions and the result was even better than I imagined! I love my new haircut!

2 /5 Lydia Welsh: Correcting my initial 5 star review. At first, I thought my haircut by Emma C looked great. But when I washed and styled it at home, I noticed unevenness in the length of the under layers. I called Moda back and to their credit they brought me back in for a correction. However the stylist Lacey who worked on my hair correction did a poor job. I was told this would be a full wash and cut so I came in with wavy hair not thinking it would matter. Unfortunately I was told after I arrived that the stylist would be doing a dry cut, meaning the natural waves of my hair made it hard to see how it was being cut. Furthermore, Lacey did not know what initial style I even wanted, nor did she ask, and ended up chopping off my face framing despite that part of the original haircut looking great. I’m really disappointed in my hair after continuing to try to work with it at home. I will not be returning.

5 /5 Lizzy Prociw: I loved my experience at Moda. Abby has done my hair multiple times and she is a great stylist. She is very knowledgeable and super kind. I have always been happy and amazed with my hair afterward. The products they use make your hair shiny and smooth!!

5 /5 Rashmika Abajian: It was my first time in and I needed my hair trimmed. They were running a few minutes behind so they gave a complimentary hair conditioning mask treatment which was lovely. Everyone was friendly and professional and my hair looks great. The products they used smelled really good and they had some nice advice for me to take care of my curls.

1 /5 Jared Sample: This is a pretty weird one. I came in with my wife as a walk-in and they were only available to cut her hair because they didn’t have any men’s hair specialists at the time. That seemed a little weird but I don’t know anything about cutting hair so I just figured that they specialize more in women’s hair and have a couple of people around that know how to cut men’s hair and they just didn’t happen to be in that day. No big deal. While I’m sitting and hanging out waiting for my wife’s haircut to finish, one of the conversations that the employees were having discussed that men like women with long hair because back in prehistoric times, it made them easier to grab a hold of and rape. Not really an appropriate conversation to be having in the workplace but definitely not in front of a man. Very weird. Despite that, my wife’s haircut came out wonderfully and she was super happy with it so they ended up booking me for an appointment a week later with a men’s hair specialist. They had me booked for first appointment at opening. The lady doing my hair was 15 minutes late and then proceeded to give me the absolute worst haircut I have gotten as an adult. When I went to pay, I asked to tip only 10% because I was unhappy with the haircut and the lady at the front ringing me up had to bring out her calculator on her phone to figure out what 10% of $45 was; that’s shocking enough. She then added six dollars to the total and charged me $51. At this point, after holding my cool the entire haircut, I just paid and left without saying anything. Just a completely unprofessional vibe all the way through. Avoid it like the plague if you’re a man. Again, I can’t say anything bad about the haircut my wife got. She loves it. I got the short end of the stick this time.
