Jan Kim Grumbles Before going in to see Alice, my last professional hair cut was about 8 years ago. In between that time, I always ended up cutting my own hair because no matter who cut my hair, I almost always felt dissatisfied. I have thick Asian hair that is wavy in some parts and strait in other parts. It’s also dry so I struggle with frizz and keeping my hair smooth. Finding someone who was able to understand the texture and wave pattern of my hair was important to me. I’m so glad a close friend of mine introduced me to Alice because for the first time in 8 years, I can wear my hair down and be satisfied with how it lays on my shoulders. Despite my hair texture, Alice knew exactly how to cut and layer my hair. Even if I don’t use any products or style it, my hair still falls and settles so nicely. Alice was so great at asking questions regarding my hair goals and suggesting styles that would fit my hair type. She was also so fun to just talk to as she worked her magic on my hair! If it wasn’t for Alice, my hair would be constantly clipped up or under a hat. All this to say, I’m so glad I don’t have to cut my own hair anymore! yubo li Jovial Studio is hands down the best hair studio I’ve been to nationwide! Eric is incredibly patient and brings a unique combination of aesthetic vision and creativity to every session. I’ve tried many studios in major cities like DC and LA, but Eric’s work stands out above them all. Plus, he has the cutest dog in the studio, which adds to the peaceful and relaxing vibe. Highly recommend for anyone looking for exceptional service and a top-notch experience!

Layne Harris Georgia is amazing! I keep my hair cut into some version of a long or short pixie, and Georgia never disappoints. She listens to me describe what I want, she looks closely at photos I bring, and she’s honest with me about what my hair will and won’t easily do. She only recommends products that I end up loving. I ALWAYS love my hair when I leave my hair appointment. I’ve been going to her for years and have recommended her to so many friends who have ended up loving her too. I also just get stopped by strangers asking who cuts my hair! I cannot recommend Georgia enough for anyone who wants a pixie/short hair pro!!!

Joanne Turnbull Lindsay is the best!! She’s been my stylist for several years now and she definitely has the magic touch when it comes to all things hair. She is very knowledgeable about color and super talented with such a gentle touch when it comes to cuts and styling. I’ve never been disappointed and my husband always raves about my hair when I get home. And to top it off, Lindsay is the sweetest, most wonderful girl!! Joe, the owner of Joe Bae, and his lovable dog are a joy to know! He has created a fabulous salon and filled it with kind, creative humans. As I venture forth in my next chapter of life in California, I shall miss this shop and most especially Lindsay.

Tanya I saw Chelsea today for the first time and she did a fantastic job. My hair is done exactly how I wanted. I have been coloring my hair for years now and have never gotten even close to what I wanted but today I did. will definitely be coming back!

Liz Utuk Agnes is wonderful! I bring both of my girls to her. She knows how to cut curly, highly textured hair. She has also taught me how to properly care for their hair which has been a god send. They have mixed hair, got their kinky curls from their dad and I had been struggling trying to find the right products and styles. Agnes has been helping to teach through their hair appointments how to best take care of their different curls. She is very kind and very gifted. I highly recommend her and I will be seeing her soon for myself since my curl pattern has gotten weird after my last pregnancy. Let her work her magic on my locks.

Lisa Voss Leydi did a fantastic job cutting my hair based on the photo I showed her. She is warm, open and friendly. I have been in the greater Seattle area for 12 years and I finally found my hair stylist. She charge reasonably and doesn’t push for any products sell. She knows how to cut Asian hair too. Overall great experience!!

Princy Doshi Service is really good and fast. Place is very clean. The lady was very good at what she did. I got my hair spa, hair cut and waxing too. It was all good. I have visited her multiple times. They are very accomodative

anuradha desarkar Highly recommended for hair cutting. I got my hair cut here from Ivy and she’s highly skillful and patient. My hair layers was pretty damaged as I couldn’t cut it for a long time. But Ivy could get me my previous layered hair style very nicely. She always kept on checking about hair length, style, etc. The place was very clean and tidy. As I didn’t book a prior appointment, I waited for 5-10 minutes. I’m going back definitely and I highly recommend this place and Ivy to others as well.

Selena Riley Ti is a master of his craft, he is so skilled and takes careful consideration of his clients. It was such a pleasant experience. The studio is very chic and has free parking! They do hair, nails, wax and massage. Can’t wait to be back, thanks Ti!
