1 /5 Rahima: The nails were beautiful, yes. However, the customer service is anything but. After paying around $150 dollars for some sage marble nails, I experienced one snapping backwards after snagging on a blanket thread, taking my real nail off with it. That night, I was in the emergency room for a while, where they injected my fingertip with lidocaine (very painfully), then cut open my nail bed to try and reset my nail so my new nail (which HAS NOT GROWN BACK YET) starts to grow back properly. After explaining this to them, their team told me they dont do refunds. I was never told this, I could not find their policy online, and I wasnt shown it in store. I wasnt asked to sign a waiver of any kind. In addition they had recommended the gelX service, not explaining any of the downsides or upsides of it. I am clueless, so of course I went with what was recommended. After, at a different salon, the technician asked me about my nonexistent nail on my finger, and when I told her, she said they SHOULD NOT have recommended GelX service due to the length of nail that I chose as they would break easily. Frustratingly enough, even with a credit card statement, photos, and a discharge paper from the hospital, I have not received any compensation. In the end I paid 150 dollars to get my nail taken out of my finger. Isnt that wild? Now my hands look worse than before I got my nails done.
