1 /5 Jen Ramsey: We purchased a 2023 Honda CRV and a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 from Honda of Grays Harbor, now Interstate Honda, in December of 2023. The new CRV, as expected, has been great. Our problem is with the truck. We paid a little more than it was worth because it had a bed cover and a toolbox, and because my salesperson told me that they had done a full diagnostic and replaced the brakes, fluids, battery, and a list of other things. We were concerned about its durability as a 21 year old vehicle but it had low mileage and we were assured that it was in prime running order. Within a month, the transmission started skipping. Then it started overheating and we had to replace the radiator. A month after that, the rear brakes starting going out. I went in to our free 1st service and asked how brand new brakes that theyd supposedly just replaced could go bad in 3 months and was blown off my the service manager. My guess is out salesman lied about the list of things theyd fixed. Since then, we have had multiple other issues including the transmission. I understand that as an older vehicle we can expect things to need replaced, but not so many things so quickly after purchasing. This indicates unfair business practices on their part.
