5 /5 Sang Suh: The wages of sin is death. Sin does not just get forgiven by us doing something. Death has to be paid for sin the Bible tells us. When Jesus died on the cross, He said,"It is finished." He finished paying the dept for our sins, died, and 3 days later, resurrected for our justification. If Jesus was raised for my justification, I am surely justified.
Romans Chapter 3
21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;
22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:
23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus
God tells us we are justified. If God tells us we are justified, therefore we are righteous. Salvation is by grace and not of works. The only thing left for us to do is put aside our thoughts and accept the word of God just as it is written in the Bible.
