St. Joseph Catholic Church - tacoma
Xin Yun Ng This is the first Catholic Church I’ve ever been to and I’m so grateful to have a Traditional Latin Mass near me. The sung mass on Sundays are so beautiful, reverent, and mystical. The choir sounded heavenly, it was amazing. What a blessing it is to be able to attend this Church!

Holy Rosary Catholic Church - tacoma
Martha C All we local Catholics are supporting the restoration of Holy Rosary once again as a church, we are happy to have learned that on May 1st the Vatican has approved a legal recourse against the closing of this church. We are very unhappy with the closure pursued by the Archdiocese of Seattle, they have disregarded the will of the Catholic community; they talk about being on the side of "synodality" and "participation" but this does not seem to apply to Holy Rosary and the community. The closure of the church has brought crime, drugs and other ills to this neighborhood. It has been informed that the city of Tacoma is paying $1M/year to CCS to manage the churchs site for homeless individuals parking and sleeping in their cars; with that kind of money, it seems to me they can pay for housing instead.
