5 /5 Stylez Major: This place changed my life. I used to spend my time in bars and clubs looking to connect. But with capital Ive found real connection. You feel welcome genuinely every time you visit. The worship is amazing with a great leader. Dave is great at what he does. I used to think church was all about money. But the value you get from this church money cant buy, the relationships and love. I found a new family.

1 /5 Jessica F.: I had been going to this church for years off and on. Tithing on a regular. At one of the darkest times in my life I asked for help because of desperation to not have to become homeless, and I made an appointment with one of the pastors during a weekday. Not sure if he was working with their finances, but due to how he made me feel and the way I was treated that day, I not only stopped going to this church, but all churches. My husband attends another church, but due to the traumatic experience I had with this male individual, I won’t return to church. This was in 2018 and I still remember it like if it were yesterday. I was talking to my husband this morning and we brought up this church. It’s sad because I walked out scared, feeling traumatized, feeling less than.

1 /5 Lady: I have been to this church several times and started to do there class for new people. I could not shake the uncomfortable feeling I got there I am a believer serving God for several years perhaps its just not the place for me. But 1 star for both the creep factor and the unfriendliness. In addition I found out that if you sign up for their discipleship class at the end they make you sign a contract promising to not only tithe but refrain from certain activities Im sorry but I thought Jesus my judge not this body of people.

5 /5 Bess Owens: Capital Christian Church has A lot of personalized ministries, Great love and respect. Very well organized and effective. Super great outrages, called initiatives, like the powerful, local P.E.A.C.E. Center, international Ghana Books Peace Foundation, Celebrate Recovery, lots of small groups giving strong support for many, many areas of people’s lives. We came just the way we were, we’re Immediately accepted and ministered to . We are growing and trusting faith. We are getting the benefits of being connected with God and his family.

1 /5 Keshia Belmarez: I attended this church from May of 2024 all the way until January of 2025. I was going up to 3 times a week as I attended the grief share program every Wednesday for 3 months as well as church every Sunday except occasionally I was scheduled to go to work and on Saturday nights. I also completed the discipleship training classes which was 4 total. I was told to sign a contract saying that I would not engage in premarital sex or homophobic behavior as well as promise to tithe 10% of my income. I was homeless living in a tent but never been a drug addict, I dont drink, dont smoke, and I been celibate for almost 4 years. I believe in monogamy. During my homelessness I was employed and gave what I could to this church. When I found employment I donated to buy meals for the poor on Thanksgiving. I donated my time and helped pack the bags for the meals. I attended events such as girls night and small groups such as the divorce care group. Only to be met with more abuse here. I was called a b*tch by a couple of the male regulars that do a small group there. Their reasoning being that because they are veterans they think they have reputations and rather than admitting to the wrong theyve done and their mistakes theyd rather take out their insecurities on me. I was being called those things for not wanting to engage in the things that others wont talk about like what u have to do to become a disciple or a deacon. The police was called on me after I was given permission to be in the parking lot by one of the regulars at Capital Christian. The reason being that I couldnt be there after 7am. Meanwhile the pastor of this church told everyone on live television at one of his sermons that he wanted everyone to be there 7 days a week because they have something for people to do there every day of the week. I went back other days to see if they were enforcing the 7am rule to everyone but no. Just me. I was singing in the parking lot and as soon as I started singing Christian music one of the male church goers who had been watching me sing and dance pulled up behind me and asked if I was gonna be there all day. He then pulled away after I ignored him and said "this girls already been through training".... around the same time one of the women who had been abusive towards me there yelled "youre not singing girl youre yelling!" ...I am a professional singer and even if I was yelling who cares? Any way I choose to worship is none of your concern. Some people there are good but a lot were not. I expected better from Christians and I shouldnt have to give someone head to be apart of a church. I also paid $70 to attend a class here for financial wellness which I attended 3 classes. I could not finish the class due to the harassment I was facing at Capital Christian. I have been abused for several years because of my religion. Because I have religious tattoos. Ive been attending various churches since I was a kid getting picked up every Sunday morning by our church van. I didnt expect to be hurt like this at a church. Ive gone back to worshipping alone as I dont believe I need a church to have a relationship with god. I just thought connecting with others while worshipping together was better as the Bible says "when two or more are gathered" but all that became of it was bad in the end. Maybe some day Ill find a church that is right for me.
