Betty Newby We were supposed to get a handicap ramp for my husband, the guy that came out was a total jerk, ball faced lied to me. Brought out a huge wheelchair ramp that ran out almost to the street took up all of my parking pad, left me nowhere to park, he blocked every entrance into our front yard and then kept tell me it was required, LIAR, I called the state it is rise over run my steps are 15in the was supposed to be 15ft which would have been perfect. Now i have to hire someone to dismantle it so we have a place to park. He tried to bully me when i told him i was calling the VA he said wont do you any good they are used to dealing with people like!!! He said your husband signed for this, my husband has Dementia and doesnt remember signing anything. The Va has not bothered to call me back, not only is he ripping me off he is Ripping the VA off by installing these big expensive ramps that people dont needor want.

Val N One of the best ERs Ive ever been in. With a lot of kids, visits are constant...but they are always so kind. Long wait time can sometimes be expected as they go by urgent needs first, so just plan for a minimum 4 hr wait time. But they do a thorough check each time and they never make you feel like youve wasted their time. Thank you amazing docs and nurses, especially Dr. Brown!

ropngirl04 My experience was awful. Im not ok with sharing healthcare information in hallways where people can hear everything. I heard everything about someone the other night. I feel if you dont have a room available dont put patients in the hallways. Health care information should be kept private and treatment should be private. Also blood pressure checks were being done in the lobby which I thought was so weird. I get that you are trying to get people in fast but this should not be the way health care information is dealt with.

Demi Davis EDIT: I was encouraged by my neurosurgeon at Harborview to seek care at my nearest hospital to follow up on a drug reaction that may be affecting another preexisting condition I have, (he was afraid of brain swelling). I came alone, against my better judgment as my 4 year old had the flu and I did not have a baby sitter, so her father couldn’t come with me. After past experiences I was too afraid to enter the er once I had parked in the parking lot. In desperation I called the charge nurse (this was Christmas eve so I couldn’t speak with quality control) explained that I was told to seek help here, but that I was having a hard time entering because I had been misdiagnosed in the past leading to a very severe extended drug reaction that could have been treated there had bloodwork been done. She was extremely understanding, gave her permission to look at my labs that had been done at the urgent care a day prior so they could see the correlation of off the chat eosinophils, and histamines in response to a round of medication I had been prescribed by another provider. In this visit (Christmas Eve), I was treated with kindness and compassion; something I was not expecting after past experiences here, but I was extremely grateful for none the less. The Dr. I visited with left no stone unturned and did do the imaging my neurosurgeon requested. Luckily no new anomalies were discovered despite the migraine I walked in with, and the blood work was found to finally be stabilizing, with the help of prednisone, which the Dr (Jones) was kind enough to extend the prescription until I am able to meet with my neurosurgeon in a week. My only encouragement for this hospital left is to always check eosinophils levels if someone who doesn’t have a history of psychiatric or gastrointestinal issues suddenly come down with them. It can save their organs and mental health. Giving psychotic meds to someone who is experiencing allergic reaction delirium isn’t helpful, can cause you to become aggitated and experience a worsening of psychosis, giving those practitioners attending the patient false confidence in the belief that, “this person is just crazy”. It’s akin to torture, and you don’t even realize you’re doing it. This can really make a normal average every day person not only distrusting of the very people who are supposed to be trusted in a medical crisis, but resentful. I took almost two years and two rounds of this medication to discover the culprit because of a lack of blood work in response to sudden mental and physical deterioration. I am extremely grateful to Dr. Aaron Jones for his diligent and compassionate care in a time when I was extremely fearful and distrusting. A little faith has been restored, and that’s been the greatest gift this Christmas. Dr. Billingly…for the love of god man..DO LAB WORK. You could have caught this, and saved me 6 separate visits to the urgent care and ER over the last three weeks, with one simple lab test. When I finally got lab work 3 days after seeing you, it was still so high I can only imagine how bad the blood work was when I was in your care. After seeing you I deteriorated QUICKLY, and was too afraid to return in a more timely manner, because of the way you brushed me off as an “anxiety” attack. I should not have to tell someone who went to school for nearly a decade that anxiety meds alone are no match for off the chart histamine and drug induced eosinophilia. Again, thank you to St. Mary for doing the right thing and giving me the stabilizing care I desperately needed even if it came extremely late..better than never. Ya know? Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, to anyone who took the time to read this exhaustive report on my recent experiences at this particular hospital. We have changed our previous one star review to a three. But if we are reviewing dr’s alone, I would give Mr.Jones a five.

Ricky Stephens I recovered from hemiplegic migraines which caused stroke like symptoms. I’ve been in rehab 3 times now and I fully believe and trust in the staff and nurses at the inpatient rehabilitation center. I wouldn’t trust nobody else with my health. They work with you and listen to you. Dr Wyrick and staff are the best

Kat Rodriguez This clinic is the absolute worst I can not believe we stayed as long as we did. Starting when my oldest son was young a doctor calling him fat. We finally moved him out and got a new amazing doctor. Than my youngest son most recently last few years since he was born a year later had a bad reaction to the MMR vaccine his doctor ordered a referral. Months later after I contacted them about it they said oh there is no one who does it but we will try Yakima so we waited again. Later he was diagnosed with alopecia also referral sent when I asked about the first referral they were brand new to the information finally a while later they said oh we know what’s going on now we will have to send you to Spokane or Seattle. I said ok that will work months later STILL WAITING. Today we go in for a yearly check up for my teen we have waited over a month for this check up as there is some pressing medical questions the receptionist was absolutely rude. The girl she was training looked embarrassed ( don’t worry girl you did great!) but the girl training her was rude rolled her eyes and tapped her feet like she was very bothered by our presence. She stated “we don’t take that insurance “ we have been at this clinic for a long time and have had this same insurance for over a year! What do they mean ? My son has been seen last few months a couple times even nothing was said then either, we didn’t receive notice of this change from the insurance or clinic. Than she proceeded to say out loud for the whole office to hear UNLESS YOUR KIDS ARE IN FOSTER CARE OR ADOPTED NONE OF THE DOCTORS WILL SEE YOU. 2x in 3 min she said this out loud. How embarrassing God forbid there be a child in Forster care or adopted ( forgive yourself for that one girl) After they consulted with a seasoned receptionist about our insurance we were asked to fill out forms to request a change in insurance, I was sickened by this service by this girl all around I decided to just walk out. Now my teen who needed to be seen by her doctor will have to wait for a new doctor elsewhere. My preteen will now miss out on basketball because she won’t have a updated Sports physical done in time ( her appt was previously scheduled for this coming Friday 1/17 that was also made over a month ago. Shame on you Walla Walla clinic for this treatment shame on you for training new employees how to invalidate emotions and discriminate against people who are not adopted or in foster care and for calling out anyone who may be in foster care or adopted. I know first hand how it is to be understaffed but you can not be so desperate to allow snotty, uneducated employees represent your clinic. Do better , be better, treat others with respect.

Kvargas I am appalled and saddened by the behavior of the receptionists at this clinic, especially towards seniors. Most recently, the Orthopedic receptionist for Dr. Wilwand, Kiara (I believe was her name), actually attempted to *yell* at us when I commented that her claim that she couldn’t locate certain records of my mother’s did not make any sense. Her coworker eventually stepped in, and located the records within *minutes*. The receptionist Kiara tried to claim my mom was mistaken (she wasn’t as evidenced by Kiara’s coworker who quickly stepped in to locate said records). In response to this Kiara raised her voice at my mother & I. When I quickly told her to lower her voice, she changed her behavior, but two other coworkers witnessed this and stayed silent, likely unsurprised. Other reviews mention similar issues with locating records, suggesting the clinic struggles to keep track of records and referrals. The system seems disorganized, and the receptionists are often flippant when confronted about it. If you have a senior loved one here, advocate for them to ensure respectful treatment. The other thing that seems telling is that several doctors seem to leave this clinic after 1-2 years or so.
