Karly Siroky I recently went in for a mammogram and ultrasound, and was pleasantly surprised by how caring the service was. Karen did a great job making me feel comfortable during my mammogram, and Stephanie did the same during my ultrasound.
The staff provided warmed dressing gowns to wear. The hallways were decorated for Fall. The lighting in the radiology department—whereas regular hospital lighting is usually fluorescent and garish and the opposite of "healing"—was soft, yellow and calming.
The only reason why Im not giving Confluence a full 5 stars is because of the environment. Most of the building still feels very clinical, cold, corporate and unwelcoming.
But the radiology department defied this fact. The dahlia garden outside is incredible. More moments like this where nature and natural building materials can be integrated would help me choose this medical center over others that I travel quite a distance to just because they make me feel less stressed leading up to my appointment.
Thank you, Confluence Radiology, for exceeding my expectations, and making a procedure I was dreading as painless as possible, and actually borderline enjoyable!

Brandee Wellman It’s no wonder Direct Care gets such a low rating. The receptionists are absolutely terrible—no eye contact, no warmth, no compassion in their voice, and they can barely speak loud enough to hear. It’s like they’re completely uninterested in being there or in helping anyone. Their lack of basic courtesy is unacceptable. In a place where people come when they’re at their most vulnerable, a simple smile or a shred of empathy would go a long way—but clearly, that’s too much to ask here. I use this location because it’s close to my home.
