Monday morning, Miranda called 1st thing to get the story, the problem was diagnosed by 10:30am, and the vehicle was fixed an back on the road by 4pm. Michael Lamphiear Initial setup went well. Scheduled a appointment to drop off a vehicle for windshield replacement and made arrangements to be dropped off at my work 3 blocks down the street. Was told to just show up a little earlier than my appointment and they wouldnt have a issue and make a note on the appointment. Figured I could get a person to just ride with me to my work and they could drive my vehicle back to the shop as I do it for customers myself all the time. I arrived 25 minutes early and a person was at the front counter. Attempted to open the front door and was locked. Tried to get the employees attention but was ignored so I waited in my vehicle another 10 minutes as 2 other employees arrived. At this point Im outside waiting and can see the employees inside having a conversation and another 10 minutes has passed. Other customers are waiting outside now and I have 5 minutes to get to work without being acknowledged. I couldnt be late for work so I left and called to try and make arrangements thinking maybe they could just pick the vehicle up or something. The lady who answered the phone said there was a miscommunication as they dont open the doors till 8 and needed that time to get ready for the day. As a customer who made arrangements prior to my appointment and is waiting outside to get acknowledged and is told this while seeing employees just chatting is not good customer service. The lady on the phone didnt care if I was bringing my business in or not and just said goodbye after the conversation like it was nothing to her. I understand employees dont start there shift till a certain time but when a customer has made arrangements prior and is trying just get to work a simple " Hello we will be right with you" goes a long way

The other insurance company paid for everything, which was nice, but the service I received from 5 Star was even better. Promptly repaired and looks like new. Office staff was clear about everything and communicated well. Very pleased.

Jen Ramsey I was in a not-at-fault collision in August of 2023. Five Star was the preferred repair center for my insurance, so I agreed to use them. The initial estimate I received stated that the turnaround time for repairs was 30 days, which came and went. I followed up every few weeks to a month, and each time I was told a different reason why it was taking so long. First, it was the United Auto Workers strike (which didnt begin until theyd had my car for 30 days), then it was because parts took so long to get for Hondas, then I was told that the repairs were all finished and it was just waiting to be painted and the paint shop was backed up, etc. Finally in January of 2024 I was told that they were still waiting on a part, and it was taking so long because the manufacturer wouldnt just make one part and we had to wait until they had enough for a bulk order. Then, they decided to send my vehicle to the local Honda Service Department to see if they could fix the part instead of replacing it. Honda had my car for a month or two, and then I was notified by my insurance that the claim had been paid out, so I called Five Star to verify. Out of all the times that I spoke to them, I initiated almost every contact. They didnt even call to tell me that my car was done after almost 8 months. A few days after picking my car up, we realized the A/C was blowing hot. Called Five Star and was told that "it was working when they sent it to Honda" but to go ahead and bring it in, and the Freon ended up being low and needing recharged. Then a few days later I realized my front license plate was missing. I called again and was told that none of the photos they had of the car had the license plate on, so they probably didnt even get it, but theyd look for it. I never received a call back, and I had to pay out of pocket for new plates. Then, a few weeks ago my check engine light came on stating there was an Emissions System error. Took it into a different Honda Service Dealer and it looks like Five Star either missed that a fuel valve was cracked/broken or broke it themselves during the repair process. Honda also told me that the hood is missing the insulator, and instead of ordering new hood/engine stickers from Honda, it looks like they just removed the ones from the old hood and used double-sided foam tape to attach to the new hood, which doesnt affect its drivability but really just shows the level of care and work ethic. I have since moved out of the area, and now have to work with my insurance to re-open the claim and have Honda fix it, and I will be without my vehicle, again, after not having it for almost 8 months, but still having to make vehicle and insurance payments the whole time. I absolutely do not recommend taking your vehicle to Five Star for repairs. They are obviously over-obligated and over-worked, and it shows in the level of care they will show you as a customer and your vehicle.

Kyle L Wiley I stopped by Andys automotive service to get an oil change and check out the new company. While I was there I had an opportunity to meet the owner. I inquired about some future service that I might need and he was very thorough in explaining to me the prerequisites for the type of service that I was inquiring about. He was extremely knowledgeable about my cars problem. So I scheduled an appointment for additional service. My oil change was very reasonable cost and was fast efficient. I like this new company and I think I will use them from now on for my automotive needs. The staff is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I feel like I got an honest deal going there and Im very happy with their service.

Lonnie Tate Took my Cherokee in after a hit and run then while waiting to get in for repair I had another accident hit ice and landed in ditch fortunately on same side as prior damage. It went there on the 1st of April we finally brought it home with work incomplete on it June 7th. They painted over a significant scratch on the door they purchased and put on. They tried to get us to take it a few weeks prior but we refused until the replaced the trim on it that had been scratched up so they finally replaced it only for us to find out the trim below it they failed to replace. They are still waiting on parts to do that piece they say. My headlights are xenon came out that year factory. They stuck a different bulb in the other side which made no sense being as mine was still operational they changed the bumper and were able to put the original one I had bought for it back in so why is there this happening with me having two different colored light bulbs? They said that would be rectified before picking it up and it never was I’m still waiting. We had to point out to them initially the door they put on was not lined up correctly so they adjusted that and now my front door is out of line. It’s just a simple adjustment they say. Finally I get upset enough I call looking to speak with manager or whoever above these people and I get a call back from the general manager who just assures me up one side and down the other how they are going to get my car taken care of asap he even goes as far as having me write down his personal cell number. (Why do I need that? Is this admission of not answering or returning customer calls that call the business?) A couple weeks later I call to find out what’s going on when will my vehicle be completed and all messages left to collision were ignored so I called the personal cell number and no answer there either. Today is July 5 and to this date my vehicle still is not completed. I cannot believe this is the type of service I received. The statement they told me about how they would fix it good as new really has been a FAIL the assurance of me taking it prior to completion totally was just a joke I don’t know where these good reviews have come from it must be a family and friends thing because a 2017 Jeep Cherokee should not have had so many excuses to be told for the fails happening in the collision department when the dealership is also associated with Jeep. April 1st to July 5 Come on people get it together this is unacceptable

Bryan Doull This is an overwhelmingly positive review with some negative stuff. My car broke down in Aberdeen and was towed into the shop. B&B Automotive promptly took care of all the details and put my car on the service schedule. B&B Automotive has a great two-step policy which allows me to get the car back on the road as soon as possible, then come back and have the rest of the repairs finished. They offered solid estimates, reasonable rates and professional, detailed explanations. They were friendly, polite with even a touch of humor. B&B Automotive even saved a $50 bill that I dropped. B&B Automotive completed the repairs the following week. Then something baffling happened. The "Check Engine Soon" light was still on. The "Check Engine Soon" light was represented to me by B&B as being an important indication of my cars health. So I bought the car back. The mood of the visit changed. The explanations were all short and to the point. The positive mood was gone. No one was rude, disrespectful, or dismissive. The tone had clearly just changed. Yes, B&B Automotive, I acknowledge you spent extra time with my car removing some stubborn rusty bolts and that you likely gave me a break on the labor. Yes, I did bring back the car back for a relatively minor issue. Yes, these highly trained, hard working techs are human and as prone to emotions as the rest of us. Who probably saw me as ungrateful and nit picky. Here is a better, more professional approach. Offer me a detailed estimate of what services could be done to permanently fix the "Check Engine Soon" light and then let me decide about paying for the additional repairs. Added On July 10th, 2005. Tyler with B&B responded to my concern. Too early to say if the issue has been resolved. We are, at least, are actually talking about it.

Jen Conley COBRAnAUTO REPAIR IS WHERE ITS AT the best Auto repair in Town, this place is amazing brought in our own bearings because they already had them, they gave us the bearings we bought so we could get our money back no extra charge $225 for everything, they are honest good people and that hard to find Took our car to have an estimate at LES SCHWAB only because theyre 2 blocks from us, they quoted us WELL OVER $600 for bearings ONE TIRE. I KNOW INFLATION HAS GONE UP BUT I also believe that SOME businesses are using that to really jack there prices up I promise you wont be disappointed I will never go anywhere else try this place you will be so happy you did

Trinity J we had such a great experience with this shop! we are currently living in our van and on quite the road trip (far from home) & they were able to get us in the day after we called to get our spark plugs replaced so we could continue on our journey! Dirk gave us his personal number for any troubles we run into in the future & was so kind to us. we were quite worried about our van and they fixed it right up. the young mechanic who did the work on the van (i can not remember his name) was great at communicating and ensured we would be safe and sound with the work he did. 100% recommend these guys! thanks everyone!

And then from there they fully patched the tire and gave me my keys. I didn’t spend much time at the shop either. It was fast. It was an excellent experience and I’m glad I called Earley. Victoria Hill HIGHLY RECOMMEND. May 2025 Had a blowout on the freeway and needed to get this donut off my car and put a regular tire on. I had called around quite a few other tire places until I found Earley Tire Shop. Which had beat everybody by at least $10 for swapping out a tire mount balanced and put it back on my car. I was helped by Ryan at the counter who was quite helpful and quick. I got my car in within 2 minutes and they were changing my tire. I think the whole process took maybe 10 minutes and they were done! I definitely recommend you check them out it looks like they do tires, wheels, oil change, brakes and batteries. Theyve got quite an assortment of wheels and batteries in the showroom and their hours are Monday through Friday 8 to 6:00 Saturday 8:00.

Rebecca Meyer The short story: terrible customer service and questionable competence. Should rename themselves to "One Star Motors". Had a problem with our vehicle and was advised that the steering gear assembly needed to be replaced. The service department was unable to obtain the part, so they gave me the part number so I could search for it myself. In my search I found the part in less than 15 minutes, but noticed there was also a "power steering assist motor" listed so I contacted the service department to ask if I needed that part as well. The service manager, Victor, told me yes, I should go ahead and buy it. So we take our vehicle in for service and give them both the parts, but the motor doesnt get used because there was ALREADY a motor included as part of the steering gear assembly. Im not a mechanic. Theres no reason I should have known that. But thats something the service manager should have known before recommending I buy the part. Now I have a $500 part I cant return because that retailer wont allow returns of electronic components, even unused. Given that I was told YES, buy this part, and then it was not needed, the right thing to do would be for the service manager to take responsibility for erroneously making that recommendation and buy the part from me. Instead, he blame shifts and tells me I should have known the steering gear assembly already had the motor on it, and refuses any sort of accountability. Additionally, every time we have work done there, theres something new wrong with the vehicle when we get it back. This time, theres a "power assist reduced drive with care" message that comes up every time the vehicle is started, as well as some electrical malfunctions that were not occurring prior to the repair of the steering assembly. Last time, they messed up the TPMS system, which luckily discount tire was able to fix without issue. And good luck getting them to fix anything they messed up, because they wont take accountability for that either, its always just a coincidence. Take your money literally anywhere else, this place is awful.

The operator lacks customer service skills and the facility looks like a mashup between a zombie mechanic shop and an episode of hoarders. Mostly its not been cleaned.. ever. The site is a mud bowl in the wet weather, littered with potholes making pickup or drop off of a trailer (my most frequent rental) a mud boot affair and dangerous. There is no barcode on the key drop so you cannot drop off trailers by the UHaul app without an attendant and hours are limited on weekends (when people rent UHauls). Having fully paid and fully checked in online I was held in line for 35 minutes behind customers without reservations, without the app and without a credit card. If the agent had asked "are you all checked in?" perhaps they could have hooked me up so I could leave. This is where the owner replies, takes no responsibility for the issues and blames the customer for complaining.... 5/11/24 followup. The owner must have been stewing over the review. On arrival for another trailer rental he came out demanding to know if I left him a Google review and began to argue. I asked he would hook up a trailer or not, he chose not. Would I have preferred if he had called to cancel the reservation without the drama and wasted trip? Yes, but inconvenience and discourtesy appears to be business policy. I recommend Eastside Rentals nr Emla who helped out with a short notice trailer reservation. Ill rent there in the future and regret giving this business a second chance. PS. I have left hundreds of reviews perhaps 4 or 5 are in any way negative. You earned this, twice mate.
