Crystal Collin has been doing my hair for years now. I absolutely adore him! He always makes my hair look amazing! I take my whole family of 9 to see him. He is so much more than a hair stylist. He is an artist in every way and a wonderful human.

Victoria Guaglianone Wow! I cannot say enough good things about Karen. I needed an emergency color correction and Karen got me in right away. She spent a good amount of time fixing my hair and fixed it so well that no one would ever be able to tell the difference. Karen also gave me a fabulous cut. Besides being so talented, Karen is a top notch human being. She is kind, funny, caring, and really thinks about what would look good on her clients. Karen, what a blessing! :)

Mimi Todd Karina is really sweet and trying to adjust all my requests. I already did twice with her last year. The color came out really good and back every 4 months thats perfectly fine because I dont want to dye myself every month. I got a lot of compliments on the color that all my friends loved.

Lorien Kelly Everyone at the salon was so sweet and gracious and welcoming, and they all have amazing fun colored hair. Great atmosphere, and the chandeliers are such a classy touch. I was offered coffee, tea, champagne or mimosa, and they even went out and plugged my parking meter for me. Analise did my hair, with an assist from Hannah on the blow dry and curling. The cut turned out EXACTLY like I wanted it. Im so pleased. Ive been on the hunt for a new stylist since moving here 3 years ago, but have been too nervous to try anyone new. (Terrible previous experience on a recommendation from a friend). My anxiety is now gone and I know anyone at ilo would do a beautiful job. I felt pampered and beautiful when I left. Dr. Chani Henderson DC I have been seeing Christina for a decade and shes the only one I trust to take care of my long thick hair! Layering and thinning thick hair can be complicated and shes amazing at it. She also cuts my sons long hair and does great cutting it in a way it doesnt get tangly with all his activity!

Shelly Nelson TC Hair Studio is a great salon. I came to Theresa for quality highlights and a haircuts. Then I brought my daughter to her and Theresa was prepared with suggestions and products that worked for our needs. The salon is clean and every appointment I have with Theresa is a fun, relaxing time for self care.

MAA Oregon I first went to Krystle back in November in Beaverton (just a few miles from my house) and I loved the hair style she gave me; she introduced me to the beach wave :). Then she opened her salon in Vancouver so I followed! Today she made me cry. I went in looking for something to freshen me up, I left LOVING MY HAIR!! I havent felt great about how I look lately and that all changed today when Krystle gave me beauty!! When I looked in the mirror when she finished with her magic, I CRIED. She is a magician with color and styling. Shes also lovely to chat with. The best part of it all was how she walked me through all of the steps so I understood what the process was and it made me really comfortable. Ive never had highlights before and what she did was AMAZING! I love her so much!

Karma Read I cannot say enough good things about Krystle and her assistant Mikel. A friend of mine recommended Krystle to me after my hair got completely botched (I attached a before photo). It was the type of hair experience that had me crying and hating looking in the mirror. I had gone in wanting copper and blonde (which is a hard ask) and what I ended up with was fire engine red streaked with my natural dirty blonde color. I work the type of job where I really couldn’t go to work looking like that and told Krysel that. Not only did she advocate for me with the previous hair stylist to get a partial refund, but she got me in NEXT DAY, at 6 pm since I had already missed work that week for the other color session, and stayed for SIX HOURS until it was perfect. I LOVE my hair now and will never let anyone else color it for me. Her salon is also perfect for bringing kids with you (it is contained and child proofed) and her assistant is so great at entertaining the kids and assisting Krystle so that Krystle has more time to just focus on how to make your hair perfect. 10/10. Candide made the best color, care and cut for my hair and as a bonus she offered some conditioners to take home and try how they are on my hair. I couldn’t be more happy with how my hair turned out. Janelle King Ive been seeing Jason Brown for haircuts, for the past ten years, and have moved salons with him. I can honestly say, he is one of the best stylists, I know. He is compassionate towards LGBTQ, really listens to what you want, and takes his time on your hair. Hands down I would recommend, 10/10!

Colten Tidwell So happy with Union and especially Dasian. Haircuts are affordable and the attention to detail is great. The space is great and very clean. If you drink, enjoy an alcoholic beverage while you wait or get your cut. I was recommended here and will never go anywhere else. It’s conveniently located in downtown Vancouver in the middle of the block on Evergreen between Washington Street and Columbia. I had been growing my hair out for over two years to donate it and Dasian took care of me and was able to help me get the most out of my hair for the donation. Thanks!

Chelsea Gipson I had a great experience with Daisian! I was really just fed up with my hair and wanted something different and refreshing. Problem was-- I couldnt quite put my finger on what I wanted, so I just told her: something noticably different but that doesnt require much upkeep. We settled on a blonde balayage mixed with my natural hair color. The whole process (balayage and haircut) took about 4 hours. It was long, but I love the results. I can see where she handpainted each piece to look drastic but natural at the same time (no clue how she did that). Im so happy with it and Ive been getting constant compliments on it. There are so many benefits to opening a business in Clash that it’s difficult to list them all. They provide a secure building, educational classes and laundry service to name a few. Becca Reinke Shannon did an amazing job! Honestly this was super last minute but so worth it! She had a Playlist going the whole time and it happened to be music I love. Its nice because the stylist have their own rooms so you really have a private cut. Today I decided to do a full change so I had about 6 inches chopped off and had her give me bangs. Im thrilled with the results. I will definitely recommend her! I have had so many compliments already ☺

Jen Mavro Beautiful, clean, new-looking space with a nice couch in front to sit and wait (masks required). I love that all the "salons" at Clash are private - private rooms with just you and your stylist! Shannon at Bifrost Beauty was great. She gave me my bangs back and cut about 5 inches off my hair (first haircut in about 10 months!). I have thin, straight hair and she made it look nice. I agree with the other review that she played great music. Relaxing and fun experience.

Erin Arnold I had my first gray blending appointment with Sam this morning and I am so incredibly impressed with Sam’s expertise. It was my first time undergoing any sort of hair treatment so I was pretty nervous doing anything to my hair. Sam, however, was so kind and patient, and really took the time to explain all of the options and where we can go with my gray blending journey. Also had so much fun chatting and getting to know her! Mariah DeMers I just had my first appointment with Sam and I couldnt be happier with my results after just one visit. Sam listened to me and my hair goals (both short and long term), she was incredibly accommodating with helping me continue to work from her salon (rolling desk and all) and shes just a great person to chat with. I was nervous but willing to accept that I would likely need to go through some awkward phases as I was trying to do some color correcting but Sam assured me that I wouldnt have to leave looking crazy and I was so blown away. Jenny Dalby Sam is a genius! We completed our first color correcting appointment today and I am so happy with the results. She lifted several layers of dye, touched up my roots, and my hair feels so much softer. She flat ironed my hair so we could check to make sure there was no color banding (waves/curls can hide this). Sam is such a professional; she explained options to me so I understood the whys and hows of the operation. I felt like I was able to make educated decisions and that achieving my dream hair is truly a collaborative effort between stylist and patron. Alex AO I really wanted to like this place. The ladies here have always been friendly so I made the time to have my appointment here. I had recently gone to a five star place that botched my requested ombre and just gave me a straight line in my hair of blonde. This was my first time ever doing anything fancy with my hair so I was upset about my first salon experience. When I went to Visible changes to get a consultation, I asked the salonist here if she could fix my hair and make it look exactly like the photo. She said with confidence that she could. Before I left the consultation, I asked her again to verify that it would look just like the photo and she said she was confident she could no problem. I went in to my first hair appointment and was there for 4 hours. I wasnt quite happy with the results because it had a short ombre fade and just went from dark brown to blonde without any of the rich burnt honey/hazelnut color in the middle like in the photo. She said I could come in again and she would fix it so that made me feel better. I just had my second appointment to fix it and I am not happy. She said they were short staffed and I felt rushed through. Barely any changes were made to my hair after another hour there. I asked her to extend the ombre by adding in the color to the mid section like in the photo. My natural dark brown was added back in to extend the ombre and it came out kind of blotchy and grey. I thanked her for fixing the ombre but voiced my concern that it didnt have the same hazelnut color pop like in the photo and expressed I wasnt quite happy with it. She told me it was impossible to make it fade while adding color like in the photo. Its not impossible, its in the photo! I asked before hand if she could do it and Im upset that she is now saying she cant. Im out $170 and I dont like my hair. Its not the worst but it doesnt feel like the quality it should be with all that time and money that was put into it. I feel bad for giving such a low rating because she did make my hair a little better than it was when I came in but I feel jipped and wish I had gone somewhere else...

Breanna Smith I highly recommend Jennifer for anything hair-related, especially for fashion colors! I followed Jennifer to this salon. Jennifer listens to what you want and will politely and professionally explain the pros and cons of what you are looking for and give great recommendations for your style, complexion, face shape, color longevity, etc. I have never left her chair feeling anything other than happy with my hair. Jennifer has done multiple fashion colors, balayage, weaved highlights, color corrections, and more to my hair and has explained everything she was doing and how to take the best care of my hair at home to keep it looking fabulous for as long as possible. I recently took my nine-year-old niece to see Jennifer as she wants to dabble in high fashion colors like her Aunty, and she left so ecstatic and in love with her hair. She has changed her dream job goal from following her Aunty’s footsteps to doing what Jennifer does, being a bomb a** beautician. I’d give Jennifer 10 stars if I could!!

Ariel Hricziscse Kelly Martini at Visible Changes is an excellent hair stylist! She really listened when we had our consultation and she completely understood some concerns I had about my hair. She gave me a great hair cut, and gives a relaxing scalp massage with her shampoo. She styled it using a round brush and blow dryer which gave my hair great body and a nice curl to it. Kelly was very professional and I recommend her if you are looking for a haircut. I havent had her color my hair yet I have seen her work on her Instagram and it looks great. Another thing she did great was that I only wanted an inch off the length and thats what she did! I feel like sometimes I will ask for less off and I get a 4 inch haircut instead, but not with Kelly, she didnt go "scissors happy". She really listened and delivered. Im very happy with my haircut!

Amanda Robertson Brittany is wonderful! She pays attention to the shape of ones head and cuts accordingly. That is what I like, and that is what she does for me. I’ve given up on trying to follow celebrity hair trend styles, and have embraced my hair in its natural form. Brittany has assisted with that process with her great attention to detail. I’ve never had a bad hair cut, or experience with her at Urban Beauty. The shop is clean, and very well decorated. Measures are being taken during this COVID-19 pandemic, and I for one am extremely grateful because I feel safe during my haircut. Thank you Brittany!

Shanda E I have been getting my hair highlighted for over 20 years and have visited numerous stylists and salons during that time. After each appointment, I would leave feeling dissatisfied and couldnt figure out why. I have dark blonde hair that lifts quickly, and despite showing the stylists several photos of what I wanted—very bright platinum blonde—they never achieved it. Rhonda Kay Calkins I have been seeing Ashley Mills since February 2023, and all I can say is I wish I had met her years ago. Ashley has a tremendous skill set in hair care needs: Types of cuts, specialty hair care, coloring, even does nails. You cant tell by the pictures, but I have naturally thick and kind of wavy hair. She de-bulked my hair taking it to an entirely new level of awesome. I see her every 8 weeks and my color stays vibrant until the next visit. The products she uses Amika products.....game changer! Isabelle Martinez I’ve followed Roshan with my family to a couple different salon locations because she has built trust and reliability for as long as she’s been doing my hair the past 5 years. She is an artist, good at listening, has done fantastic with subtle color, and keeps styles fresh and interesting by incorporating hints of trendy style to update classic cuts (myself and my mother stick to about the same thing.) My family goes for a range of hairstyles from trendy teenage boy, to crisp short male, to longer women’s styles with bangs, which is a testament to her flexibility. My family also has a range of hair textures (Asian thick curly hair that leans on frizzy, to medium texture, straight) and she has never had any difficulty with the texture differences. Roshan is also great with consultations, because the process on deciding what my haircut should be feels collaborative. She takes my feelings and worries into account. I’ve never received a haircut from her that felt too different or scary because she makes sure that before we decide on something new, it is something I am truly excited for (which is great for indecisive people such as myself.) If I seem unsure, she’s good at suggesting a nice middle ground that makes the switch a comfortable transition instead. My hair has also stayed healthy while I’ve been her client, and my color looks good all year round. I used to be frustrated with blocky color that wouldn’t grow out well, and looking at my pictures before seeing her, compared to now, my hair, as well as my family’s hair is noticeably better, especially color. I used to think I had to come in once a month to keep color looking nice, but I’ve had my hair lightened with subtle highlights for about a year (I used to ask for similar) and it still looks natural and flattering without updates to the look. I have never gotten an unflattering color from Roshan. She also has plenty of products to recommend to maintain hair health, or whatever your needs are (body, style, heat protection, etc.) She also offers free cuts for trimming bangs if you are her client. If you have longer hair, there’s a couple things to note. Roshan has a penchant for crisp, clean styles and does short best. She also blends color beautifully, however if you prefer a shorter appointment and you have longer hair, (cut + color) she may not be the stylist for you. I think the quality of her haircuts is definitely worth the time, but it does take longer than other stylists I’ve had in the past (although I’ve been far more satisfied with her). With short hair she takes about 45 minutes, and with my long straight hair it takes about 3 1/2 hours (cut + color). Appointments at 10:30 are best for if you need longer appointments because she tends to run behind a bit. Someone who is meticulous and detail oriented is worth it for me, but if you are extremely punctual, keep that in mind. Overall I’ve been very satisfied with her as my stylist because she’s personable, friendly, talented, and obviously very passionate about her craft. I feel like a model for a few days after I see her,. If you really care about your hair, she is a wonderful stylist. Britnee C. I scheduled a haircut with Ashley M. I have thick long hair that was lacking shape and body, I have tried numerous salons/stylist but have never felt like I got what I wanted. Well that all changed today. Ashley truly listened to me and delivered an amazing cut. She was so kind, considerate and hospitable through out my whole appt time. She even stayed after hours to cut my daughter’s hair that was not previously scheduled as a courtesy. I would absolutely recommend her and look forward to continue seeing her as my new stylist. Jessica Asbury Found Melody through word of mouth, as my stylist for over 20 years moved out of state. It was frightening to trust another with my hair as I will admit I am very picky and particular about my blonde. She really understood what I was trying to communicate and did a fabulous job. Im impressed and love my hair more with each passing day since I walked out of the salon. Very pleased to say the least. And couldnt recommend her enough. The salon itself and everyone there seemed warm and welcoming.

Patricia Witherite I’ve recently moved to Vancouver, WA and wanted to find a new salon close by. I did a search and read through a few reviews on several salon websites and thought I’d give Majestic Elegance a try based on what I read. Wow - did I find a treasure! I was able to book an appointment within 2 days! I arrived to find a magical atmosphere - calm music, bubbling water, relaxing decor - and Tilly greeted me and made me feel like a longtime client. After a brief introduction and conversation she knew exactly what I needed/wanted. I’ve had bright pink hair for 4 years and during our move I’ve let it grow out - it seriously needed some magic … and that’s exactly what happened. I have, as Tilly exclaimed “enough hair for two people” but that didn’t phase her. In the course of 2 hours (nearly 3) my hair was transformed into a beautifully blended color to allow my hair to continue to grow out and back to my natural color and the best ‘Bob’ haircut ever! I left feeling extremely happy with the results and I’m looking forward to my next visit. I know if I ever choose to go back to pink Tilly will take care of that too!

Sarah Ebner Got my hair cut with Tilly Bell, and let me just say that she did a wonderful job. My hair is not easy to work with, as it is thick, wavy, and when I came in it was very long. But she knew exactly how to handle it, better than any other hairdresser I’ve ever had. And not only did she do her job well, but she was very sweet, patient, professional, and diligent. And in addition to cutting my hair, she put in some really high-quality product that left my hair feeling very soft. I would highly recommend this place.

An impulsive choice led me to an awkward grow out period for my hair. Tilly took the time to listen to my hair goals and what I wanted from extensions. She also took the time to discuss options with me about the types of extensions and what would be best for me. She sent me options of colors and worked with me through the shopping process. When it came time to install she was so fast and did an amazing job. Because of how my hair was she had to place a lot of extensions but made the process so easy and comfortable.

Jacque Renn Christian is wonderful. It was my first time coming to see him. I needed a new change of style. I showed him several cuts and styles that I liked, and he was able to help me pick which style would be best with my face shape. Thankfully he talked me out of getting bangs again. This is the first time I have gone from very long hair to short hair and actually liked the cut, even weeks later. I will be a returning customer.

Alysha Its been a year since I found this gem, and it’s still the best salon I’ve ever been to. Both Yolanda and Christian are incredibly talented. I started seeing Christian during a hair disaster when Yolanda was booked, and he was phenomenal. He completely transformed my damaged hair into something beautiful and healthy. I’ve been seeing him regularly since, and every time he surprises me with amazing results. His prices are a steal for the quality of work. Both Christian and Yolanda are fantastic, and my visits truly make my week! Initially, I found Revolution after a quick search and booked with Yolanda. She gave me exactly what I wanted—removing bulk while keeping my thick hairs length, all in 30 minutes. Her skill and speed were impressive, and she’s worth every penny. Pro tip: the salon can be tricky to find, but its next to Jiffy Lube on 68th. Parking is limited in front, but there’s plenty in the back. Call ahead, as she does accept walk-ins!

Steven Yoli is amazing and very chill. She’s been doing my dude perms and cutting my hair for a year now. She’s patient and takes the time to deliver quality service. She really cares about her clients! Highly recommend!

Tessa Taylor I came in for a very complicated and drastic cut. I went from hair down to my mid back to a long layered bob about shoulder length. Took off like, more than half my hair! It’s a huge change and Sherri did FANTASTIC. She consulted with me through the entire process and she did an amazing job on my hair. Truly an artist with her tools. She even gave me advise on how to style it and let me know how it would grow out. I was so nervous but I serioulsly could not be happier. Fair prices, great work, and a fun atmosphere.
