I was made aware of the total cost and my portion, after insurance, before treatment and fitting the mouth guard. Every step was smooth and easy. As a child, my dentist put such fear in me with abruptness and by putting all of his equipment in my mouth and then asking me questions.... so I have always dreaded going to the dentist!! This office is run efficiently, professionally and personally. I enjoy the attention they all give to detail and relating to their patients. Left Coast Gal Dr Savidge and his staff have always been great with all three of my kids. He saw my young toddler for a dental emergency very quickly. He provided great service. He was reassuring, calm (I was not) and his recommendations ended up as the best prescription to solve our situation. I highly recommend him and his staff!

He knows what he is doing, stays ahead of the curve with regard to dental technology, and has a sincere interest in his patients health and well being! On top of that, he is very friendly and engaging - an all around great human being! I would recommend Dr. Barry and his friendly and professional staff to anyone! Dale Dellario We are lucky to have Dr. Fordham in our community to service our aging dentition. Seems that teeth evolved to serve bodies that used to last 40 years. And with the stresses of modern life, despite night guards and good care, cracks develop. That means crowns, and Dr. Fordham is the crown prince! His office has the latest 3D tech, and he has great assistants. Only drawback is no hygienists. He and his assistant do the cleanings.

This “dentist” told me that I had to go to a maxilofacial in Poulsbo when, in reality, after going to another dentist in Port Angeles, I discovered that it only needed to be filled, but I’d already paid Cuntington $850 for an appliance, so I had the tooth pulled. I let fear and money determine that I should use the appliance. One of the most nightmare decisions I’ve ever made! Caveat emptor! Beware! You’ve been warned. There’s a reason they are taking new patients!

Savannah Johnson My doctor and their team in this clinic have exceeded my expectations both for cleanliness and safety to patient treatment. I am a fat woman and have previously not been treated fairly by doctors and that has made trusting doctors and medical personnel difficult. They are kind, accommodating for my needs and listen to my health concerns without defaulting to my size.

katy kauzlarich I am currently 29weeks pregnant my obgyn is out on vacation and I confirmed my appointment for today a few days ago and now Im being told that my appointment is mysteriously canceled. Normally I wouldnt really care but this particular pregnancy my child has been in breech position the entire time and the doctors know about this It has been noted in my charts. EVEN THO IM SUPPOSED TO BE SEEN EVERY TWO WEEKS AND NOW I WONT BE UNTIL MY OBGYN GETS BACK IN FEBRUARY! if you care about your care while pregnant I highly suggest a different hospital. Considering my first child was born UNRESPONSIVE AND BLUE due to being in labor clearly stuck for 36hrs and this was 7 years ago I had hoped the hospital changed and was under better management but I GUESS NOT.

miranda wright DDS: Doing Diddley Squat I let my mouth pain go for about two weeks before calling Sturdivant, a dentist I have gone to for a long time. It took a week to get the appointment and once in, it was confirmed that I had an infection from a cracked tooth. Damaged beyond repair, the tooth would need to come out; a simple, routine extraction. But the good doctor was not content with just removing that tooth. He thought the wisdom tooth, that was fighting its way through my gums, should also be extracted. I agreed before I knew that it was not going to happen that day nor by him. He referred me to an oral surgeon in Port Angeles and said, while at the same time, he would try to schedule me with their on staff oral surgeon. "We will call you", was the last thing they said to me. The dentist in PA could not get me in for a consultation for two teeth, I was told, for four months. (I suppose I should have asked if it was less for just one tooth.) Three days passed and still no call from Sturdivants office, so I called them. When I informed them of the long wait time in PA, they said they would try to find me someone else - which, of course, I thought they were already doing. Being a Friday and still being in considerable pain, I asked for a renewal of my pain med, even if only one or two doses. All I received was yet another promise of a call back "first thing Monday morning." By noon on Monday, another week now passed, I received no call back nor could I get a human on the phone, like they were screening my calls. I had to get proactive and find another dentist. Done and done. As x-rays are now digital, I called Sturdivants answering machine again and asked that they email the x-rays to the new dentist. They did not; not even when the new dentist called them with the request. By the end of the next day, all was good in the mouth-hood. The bad tooth was extracted in less than a half hour and cost $401, which I gladly paid. The $163 that I paid to Sturdivant, who did nothing (except give me a prescription for an antibiotic and 6 pain pills), however, is not OK. It is time that WE took back our RIGHT to affordable healthcare from true professionals and not the greedy, feckless hacks who pass themselves off as such. Dave Cunningham Ive gone to dentists in several states for over 50 years, experienced the very good and the very bad. Dr. Fordham and his team are the best Ive ever seen. His office is clean and organized, the equipment is all new, and the staff is caring, efficient and friendly. The hygienist is outstanding, but most important of all, Dr. Fordham is young enough to be on top of all the latest advancements in dentistry, yet experienced enough to skillfully handle the tough jobs. I switched to his Peninsula Family Dental practice this year and will stay with him and his team of "K Girls" (all their names begin with K).

I have always felt they care about me as a person, while theyre also attentive and up-to-date about every technical detail. Marianne Thayne Dr. Fordham and his staff were wonderful. They treat you so well. I had a broken tooth and they took care of it very efficiently and Dr. Fordham was really great about giving me options. I had my teeth cleaned while I was there and the staff member did such a good job. I usually end up with aching gums after my cleanings, but not there. All I felt was clean and refreshed. It was a great experience and I would recommend them for anyone. If you want to go to an office where you will feel cared for, taken care of and given extraordinary care, Dr. Fordhams Office is the place to go.

Very gentle with shots etc. They make excellent crowns onsite, while you wait. Amazing. Dr. Barrett and Carol not only know your names, they keep up with your family. And I also know that they have done amazing work overseas as volunteers to help disadvantaged peoples in other countries. Can you tell Im a fan? Yup.

I have encountered many dental practices including when I lived on the Olympic Peninsula previously. Some of the best experiences have been here in Pt. Townsend and happily my partner and are now patients of Dr. Mathias at the Uptown Dental. The practice is efficient, compassionate, and very skillful including our hygienist, Grace. Finding skillful and personable dental care has had to be a priority wherever Ive lived. Very grateful to have found Uptown Dental!

Larry Carter I had given up trying to find a local dentist in this area until I discovered this group of dedicated and down to earth professionals. For Pete’s sake the office is on a back street in an old but quaint house. I knew when I saw the place that real people work here. I was right. I had a problem tooth from another office and refused to go back there. That Dr Barrett is an amazing dentist and fella. T & R Stevens Ive seen Dr. Peet for several extractions over the years and would never go anywhere else. Ive had only the most positive experiences with him and his excellent staff. The last time was a few weeks ago when I had a tooth removed that was broken off to the gum line. I was sure it would be painful to remove and expected a longer healing process. Dr. Peet had the tooth out in one piece in a few seconds, and there was no pain and almost no blood! He really is amazing!

Dr. Sul Hong took my case even though I was turned down by two other implant specialists in Seattle. Dr. Hong successfully raised my sinus lining and placed bone grafts in my jaw. My healing was carefully monitored and my implants are now ready for new teeth. Dr. Hong and his staff are always friendly and supportive. I highly recommend the quality of his work.
