Viktoriia Soriano Island Family Dentistry is hands-down the best dental office I’ve ever been to! The entire team is always incredibly helpful, efficient, kind, and knowledgeable. Every visit is smooth from start to finish, and they always take the time to make you feel comfortable and well cared for. One of the best parts? Roxie, the sweet office dog! She’s such a calming and wonderful presence—having her around makes the whole experience even more enjoyable. I also love that they send you off with a goodie bag. It’s those thoughtful, lighthearted touches that really set them apart. Highly recommend!

Chris Daberko Dr Yanina Chambi is a wonderful dentist! I have had many crowns in the past. Recently, she did 3 crowns for me. They cane out Great! with the least amount of pain ever! Highly recommend her. Her Office Staff is very Professional and Helpful too! They assisted me in getting additional dental coverage. Shout Out to Office Service Dog Roxy!!!

Keegan Mays-Childers Island Family Dentistry is excellent! Today my hygienist was Jackie, and she was wonderful! Jackie explained everything that was going to happen, and how she was going to do it, before she did it so I knew what to expect. She was gentle and concerned with my comfort, and could teach a master class on professional and friendly interaction. I felt safe and very well taken care of. If all this wasn’t enough, Jackie’s amazing at her job! Quick and painless cleaning, and my home actually felt better than when I arrived! Dr. Chambi is so good that I switched my kids to her office. I have had the best care from her, never feeling pressured into unneeded procedures. She is excellent at explaining any issues and what my options are. I am grateful for the level of trust I enjoy with her! Justin and Jenna, the front office professionals, are some of the best I’ve encountered. Scheduling is easy with them, and they’ve always gone above and beyond to find options that work with my schedule. When I arrived with my kids the first time (they were new patients) I expected to complete full paperwork for both of them. Instead, Justin had already taken care of that for me using existing information and common sense. I can’t say how much I appreciated that! This is the best dentist’s office I’ve been to, I would recommend them to anybody!

jacques rattaire Horrible customer service by lady in billing department!! When I bought my dental insurance they were listed in my network so I can get my two free cleaning a year, last month I went for my first cleaning of the year and they sent me a bill for $213.00. I called my insurance and they tell me that they are not in my network anymore so they could not cover the bill, she asked me if I was informed by them that they were out of my network and I said no, so she urged me to call them. I spoke to a lady in the billing department and I told her that it would have been nice to get a call, text or email regarding the changes so I could cancel my next appointment. I told her it was unfair and I would not pay that bill. So she got very upset, raised he voice and threatened me to send me to a collection agency, so I just hang up the phone, people like that should not be dealing with people because her customer service sucks!

We were delighted with the friendly efficiency and professional treatment we received from his whole team,-from the front desk, to our dental hygienists, to Dr. Keyes himself. We especially appreciated that he did not even attempt to approach us with an agenda of oral care that would break the bank. He was very down to earth and had a great jovial manner.

Mama Bear The team was amazing. My kiddo needed a 3rd tooth that was growing in her gums, taken out. They treated her well, even when she was terrified of the IV! Gave her a bunch of stickers so she would feel better too.

Lucille Ray they did a great job. i’ve known a lot of people to get their teeth pulled in other clinics and they end up with infections. i got my wisdom teeth out with no issues and the staff was so kind. the place smelled like waffles for some reason though. 10/10!

Brynna Taylor I cannot thank Dr. Keyes enough for the incredible work on my lateral teeth implants! Since I genetically never had those teeth, I was always self-conscious about my smile. But thanks to Dr. Keyes’ expertise, my smile looks absolutely perfect now. The implants are so natural that no one can tell the difference—they blend seamlessly. Caden Landry Took my 1 1/2 year old daughter for her first dentist appointment today, and was super impressed. A great atmosphere, incredibly nice people, and even though my daughter hates getting her teeth brushed, she dealt surprisingly well and was super friendly! Very informative staff and definitely knows how to work with kids!

Leeda Safa We were happy to find a Pediatric dentist that had availability for my kids aged 10 and 12. There are a shortage of pediatric dentists on Whidbey Island who offer services to new patients and offer Apple Health coverage. The kids loved the perk of a wide selection of gaming consoles in the lobby. The staff is kind and welcoming. We don’t mind the 40 minute drive from Freeland.

Allie Hanford I dont normally write reviews, but I was so impressed by my visit that Im making an exception. I had my cleaning today, and from the moment I walked in, it felt like I was on the TV show Cheers. The receptionist greeted me by my name. The waiting area was clean and comfortable, and they even offered me refreshments!  My hygienist was super friendly, but even more importantly, she was gentle yet thorough.  Dr. Derek took the time to answer questions and explain everything he was doing. I never felt like he was rushed, which is so rare these days. I havent ever enjoyed going to the dentist, but I can honestly say this was an enjoyable experience, and Im looking forward to my next cleaning. If youre shopping for a new dentist, I highly recommend going to Whidbey Dental Associates.

Karly Ploghoft I’ve never written a review but just wanted to say that I had a dental emergency with infected teeth and got in almost right away. Mariah, one of the assistant’s, helped me and was calming and helped me feel so much better after I got overwhelming news. Beautiful facility and all around great environment.

Christine Ann Childs I used to go to this dental practice a few years ago however I left due to unhappiness. My husband however stayed. My husband and I have dealt with nothing but issues from this practice. Their billing practices leave a lot to be desired. They typically will come back and say you still owe more money even though they have ran the insurance and given us an estimate. This occurs all too often. My husband had seen an older dentist there and he was rather rough with my husbands mouth and wanted to do nothing but speak about cows and talk about why hes so late because he was working on the farm. So my husband switch to a different doctor. He had a hygienist there named Adrian who is absolutely wonderful. However, he was then told Adrian would not be his dental hygienist and he would have to see someone new. We fought to get Adrian back and luckily for my husband Adrian became his dental hygienist again. The other issue my husband has had is that every single time he goes into the dental office fluoride is pushed on him. He explain multiple times that he does not want it and yet he felt as if he was talked into it, essentially being sold a product that he did not want. He ended up having the fluoride against his better judgment. They said it would be covered with his insurance and then it turned out it wasnt covered so we had to pay out of pocket. Granted it was only $35 but its the principal. Today he decided to fire his dentist and hygienist because he received a call at 9:50 in the morning stating that they had an opening for cleaning with Adrian. I called them back at 10:50 and they said " oh, sorry. The doctor took another patient in that slot ". That was the straw that broke the camels back for my husband. When I called to cancel his cleaning today with a different hygienist I also explain that my husband is going to be seeing a new dentist. Julies response? " Oh, okay ". She was very cavalier about it and very nonchalant. She clearly didnt care that they were losing a patient in their practice. As a healthcare provider of 28 years Im actually appalled by this. If I had a patient that called with these concerns I would have notified the physician first and let them decide whether or not they wanted to call the patient back and try to make things better, but that did not occur in this situation. It honestly feels like they dont care. My biggest complaint? Theyre billing practices. So if youre a new patient, just be aware that even though they do insurance estimates you will probably owe more money than what they estimate. When we saw Dr. Bethards in Anacortes, this never happened. They did the insurance estimate properly and we were never ever ever build additional monies. This is the first practice we have ever run into this with. Good riddance!

Limael C Opportunity Council is the only reason I still have a home. After surviving a winter with recorded below freezing *indoor* temperatures, Opportunity Council came and weatherized my little tin can from hell so I wouldn’t have to worry about my dog and I freezing to death in future winters. They also helped me get assistance with my electric bill, which was desperately needed. They were kind and patient with me (and my severe anxiety), and they really made a huge impact on my existence. Shortly after they finished, I was diagnosed with cancer, and spent the next 12 months in active treatment. When it looked like I finally might be able to try to do person things again and not have so much stress constantly, PSE informed me that if I didn’t make an $11,000 repair/update to the meter housing that I unknowingly inherited from the previous owner, they would turn off my power indefinitely. I spent the following couple months checking every resource I could, calls and emails daily, but absolutely no help anywhere. With 10 days left before they said they would turn my power off, I reached out again to Opportunity Council, thinking that they had already helped me so much, they couldn’t/wouldn‘t again- but perhaps they would have an idea. Kitty from Opportunity Council is some sort of wizard angel, and as far as I can tell, she went to bat for me to solve the unsolveable. My problem was quite outside of the usual, but still dire, and just a huge existential kick in the teeth at that point- but Opportunity Council managed to get it fixed for me in less time than I‘d spent just trying to find a group that would even TALK to me about it. My life hasn’t slowed with the punches much since then, but the people at Opportunity Council, and also the wonderful folks at Seatown electric who were contracted to do the repair, they‘re the reason I can take a breath sometimes and still have a little faith in humanity. If you‘re completely out of options, disabled, at risk of losing your home, or not safe- I highly recommend calling them. They are truly good humans trying to help as many people as possible with limited resources. I was on a waitlist for the weatherization for a while (relative) because there are so many people in need- so, for a lot of situations, that’s likely. But that’s infinitely better than the zero help offered anywhere else. ❤️

Sereniti Chacon This office was amazing. I called for a semi-emergency and they were not only considerate and understanding, but also got me in at their earliest available appointment. I received a call back maybe 5 minutes later when a same day appointment became available and took it. This was for my young child and they were so kind and patient with her being extremely nervous. They went above and beyond to make her feel comfortable and reassured me as the parent that they understood. I will highly recommend this office, especially to other parents and weve already booked our routine appointments with them for the future.

Maggie Veliz My experience at Camino Island Dental was excellent absolutely excellent. I have always been not thrilled about going to the dentist because I’ve had so many of them caused me pain even though I’ve never had to have any major dental work done. We did a a deep cleaning of my teeth and split it in a two separate sessions And both times in the chair for me were utterly painless and have convinced me. This is the dentist I can continue to go to and actually not dread it. The front office girls are amazing, particularly Linda. They are very welcoming. Always seem to be in a good mood. Know everything that you would need to know about regarding dental insurance. I will continue to go to this place for years to come.

Shardonay Graham Doctor Quinton & his team is amazing, always felt welcome from the moment I walk in and is greeted by the lovely lady Marci. Doctor Quinton does an amazing job explaining every problems/concerns I had. But most importantly he listened to me, and if he ever felt like he couldn’t do something he was upfront and honest by saying “hey just to be on the safe side let’s referral you so we can really see the problem”. I was alway afraid of the dentist and he changed that for me by simply being himself and letting his knowledge and skill set do the rest to help fix my teeth. I’m beyond grateful for all the work he has done, you heard it here people he’s the BEST on this island.

Brandon Walter This is absolutely the best dental office I have ever been to. Ive been to a number of dental offices in the 3 states I have lived in, and Dr. Quinton and his team cannot be matched. Everybody from Marci who does the appointments and phone calls to the hygienists to Dr. Quinton himself all were extremely helpful and accommodating. I had to have several appointments close together due to moving soon and they were able to work with me. They also provided me with some great tools and advice to help take care of myself better between cleanings. I honestly feel so much better about myself after these visits. Aaron Wilt Jr. Dr. Thuet and his staff are respectful, timely, and overall very professional. Just finished getting a second-molar root canal and was pleased by their due diligence in verifying the procedure along the way and providing proper pain/saliva management. My tooth is saved albeit needing a crown, but I couldnt have asked for anything else.

Dr. Theut and his entire staff made me feel safe and like a member of their own family. He made sure I was feeling comfortable and safe at every step of the way. Madison Aylesworth Whidbey endodontics is amazing! I went here for a root canal that I was extremely anxious about. I’ve always heard such bad things about root canals and I’ve always had a fear of the dentist which led me to not go but after having so much pain in my tooth I knew I needed to go. I got referred here and I must say I was very very impressed. Dr. Thuet did an awesome job, didn’t feel a single thing during the procedure, kept me numb and made sure I was comfortable. They even prescribed me something for my anxiety for the procedure that helped tremendously! I would recommend this place to anyone! If I ever have to get another root canal done I will definitely be going back.

I love the care that was provided by doctor Scott and his staff, he explained in detail before he did anything and he also addressed all of my concerns. The the office is very clean and the staff is very professional. I would definitely recommend him for any adult our child dental care. Thank you all for making me feel like party your family.

shelley richardson Great root canal experience, friendly and caring Dr. Unfortunately he does NOT take ANY insurance so get ready for a $1600 bill that any insurance will not pay more than $700 for. Seems like the charge is excessive! Might be worth driving off island to have done to get an in network Dr.

Kayla Hatch I went in to see him based off of a referral from my dentist. I had a root canal done in a different state and unfortunately they missed a canal, leaving the root in there. Dr.Thuet was very open and honest about my options. I felt zero anxiety through the process because he took the time to explain in detail what to expect and updated me step by step as to what he was doing. Great care and zero pain the following day which was shocking for me. Overall I had the best experience possible for it being a root canal!
