Juan Contreras Had a good experience before tried booking again was told to use booksy so went ahead and did that booked around Sunday and assumed it was all good showed up today and was told the stylist didn’t even have the app anymore and I should have called. Definitely should have called but very unprofessional in the end. I say try at ur own risk but I think I will be going elsewhere from now on.

Marquetta Jackson Service is terrible bad customer service and very ghetto and messy people if you want your hair braided please go to the African braiding shop in the Vancouver Mall they had better customer service and the braids are beautiful way better than this place located in the hood Ds beauty supply is lacking people please be aware its really sad I booked with Deveris a week in advance even after getting my hair braided wrong from an employee that worked for Deveris I called and spoke with Deveris and booked for a quick weave with a wash n conditioner n corn rows for my baby shower that was September 1,2024 the devil is a lie Deveris called me the day before my baby shower and cancelled said she doesnt want to do my hair because her employee said That I told her she pulls my hair out when she braids it how ghetto can you be messy personally D you did pull my hair but I told you in your face and to stop pulling my hair when you braid my hair I never told your employee the one who did my hair a different way and it should not even matter just STOP PULLING PEOPLES HAIR OUT!!!!!!! dont get mad and say Im not going to do your hair personally $200 for a quick weave is not worth it no thank you when D cancelled the day before my baby shower it actually saved me $200 and I did my own quick weave so God is good D you did not stop nothing you actually saved me money Im praying for you and your shop because with the messy and ghetto customer service and lack of professionalism D beauty supply will be going out of business very soon this place does not deserve one star Terrible

Coreene Collins I am a hairstylist/makeup artist renting from Tamera at Unique Beauty Loft. I am new to the area and was looking for a new place to bring my clients. Tamera is an amazing salon owner and great communicator! Anything I needed she supplied. The contract was crystal clear and my clients LOVE the new space. If you are looking for a place to rent, check this place out! And her new suites!

Marissa Ann Bray I love renting tameras loft space for my wedding hair and makeup education classes. The space has the best lighting with all the beautiful windows. I only need a space once a month so its nice to have a company willing to rent for just the day when I dont need a huge venue.

Darcy Turnbo Coreene did my hair and makeup for headshots I had done. She did an amazing job! My hair was perfect and she knew exactly how the photographer wanted my makeup done for perfect photos. I highly recommend her for any hair and makeup needs. She is very professional, and was careful about being very hygienic when applying my makeup. Her rates are appropriate for the high quality products she uses.

Michael Driver Ive gotten my hair cut all over the world. The airforce sent me from the Philippines to Iceland to Saudi Arabia. This salon is my favorite! Rose is an awesome barber! Destiny Cavanaugh The team at Thairapy is nothing short of magical. My first appointment was with Morgan — a true artist when it comes to color and extensions, especially k-tip, that require even more patience and training then the other extensions I’ve had. After years of battling disappointing and even painful extension experiences, Morgan blew me away — not only exceeding my expectations but completely rewriting what I thought was possible for my hair. The owner, Lyndsay, has built a stunning salon and a dream team that makes every visit feel luxurious, welcoming, and full of life. If I could give more than five stars, I would. 11/10 — absolutely recommend!

CHAD HAAGEN Ive been going to Henry at Image Beauty Salon in Vancouver Mall since I was a kid, and I cant recommend him enough! He’s always been consistent, professional, and incredibly talented. Every time I leave his chair, I feel confident and happy with the results—whether it’s a simple trim or a fresh new style. Henry really listens and takes pride in his work, and his friendly personality makes every visit a great experience. If you’re looking for someone you can trust long-term, Henry is the one!

Marisa Robson Been coming here since the first hair grew on my head! Nam and Henry are absolutely phenomenal as well as everyone else in the salon. I’ve gotten my hair done well over 20 times here (touch up, bleached, toned, died, highlighted ) you name it! I even like getting my eyebrows waxed here, it’s clean, and they are efficient while doing a great job. I have never left disappointed. I appreciate the hard work they put in to satisfy their costumers. I plan to bring my own children here someday. I will be returning when my roots grow back. I also appreciate the pricing. This place does not nickle and dime you. This place will tell you what’s the best option for the best price to get the hair color and style you want. Thank you Image Beauty Salon! Ashley Awesome experience. I have seen Amy twice now and both times have loved my haircut. She is very nice and knowledgeable about my curly hair. Definitely recommended. The atmosphere of the salon is great and all the ladies are very nice.

Lindsey Ames Amy is awesome! She was able to rejuvenate my hair that hadn’t seen love for quite a while. She explained how to care for curls and recommended different products and things to try to get the most out of them. She’s also really easy to talk to which is always a bonus. Salon is clean, conveniently located near downtown, and everyone has always been so nice.

Vieve May Sarah Warman is the best hairstylist Ive ever had! She is an amazing color specialist. I call her my hair doctor!! Not only is she a wonderful woman to spend time with, but she always knows what is best for me and my hair!!

Nicole Motil Ive had three appointments with Shayla at Studio B and was happy with the services every time. Shayla did a balayage treatment for me twice and took the extra time needed to properly tone my hair. She also did a kids cut for my daughter and made her feel extra special. I highly recommend Shayla because shes fast, friendly, and very professional!

Sarah Crawford Trish did a great job on my lashes! They offer fantastic pricing and specials and making my appointment was a breeze. The salon is adorable and super easy to find. Ill definitely be a regular here❤️ A++

Erin Kiss Skyler has been cutting my son’s hair for over a year now, my son absolutely REFUSES to let anyone else touch his hair, he will only allow Skyler to cut it. Makes me happy that we found someone who can cut hair as good as Skyler does!! Also excited that I found out Skyler does color on women’s hair, since my stylist retired I’ve been on the hunt for a new stylist to do my red and black color combo, can’t wait for Skyler to work his magic in my head this spring!!

Adam Ross Skyler has been cutting my hair (I get buzz cuts) for well over a year now. I followed him from another salon and have referred friends to him because he gives consistently great hair cuts. So glad he has his own salon in such a lovely and welcoming space.

Mariam Oleks I had a pedicure appointment with Andrey, and the communication was quite poor. Im not typically one to leave negative reviews, but after reaching out multiple times without a response, I felt it was important to share my experience. The first pedicure was decent, but for the second, I only wanted a gel removal and a regular cleaning. Instead, I was charged $70, and when I got home, I realized I only received the gel removal and excessively filed nails. I sent him photos and kindly asked for an explanation of the charges, but he has ignored my messages.

Shonna Roberts I saw Edgar for hair extensions and he did a fantastic job. The hair is a perfect match, the extensions are undetectable and really beautiful. He was an engaging conversationalist, friendly and nice. The salon was clean and had a fun atmosphere. I was offered coffee & water numerous times and felt very welcome & comfortable. I will definitely be back!

makayla holcomb I hesitated to write this review because I genuinely appreciate Wow Beauty Bar. The atmosphere is fantastic, and Anna and Edgar are kind, professional owners. They made efforts to resolve my issues, which is why I cant give them just one star. However, Im concerned that what happened to me could happen to others. On May 8th, I visited for a hair extension installation, trying a test run for my wedding. I have short hair and wanted longer hair for the occasion. During my consultation, Anna assessed my unique burgundy color and said she would special order the matching extensions. Before my appointment, Anna sent photos of the hair, which looked nice, but I expressed that the color didn’t match mine. She assured me it would blend well. Trusting her expertise, I went ahead. After a six-hour installation, Anna showed me videos of my hair, which looked good. But when I got home, my fiancé immediately noticed the color mismatch. It was painfully obvious, and I felt embarrassed to go out. Anna suggested I dye the extensions, recommending another stylist, so I made an appointment in hopes of resolving the issue. That night, I noticed excessive shedding—not bonds coming out, but actual strands. I lost about a quarter of the hair within two days, but I thought it might be normal for this type of extension. The next day, chaos ensued. The hair tangled and matted, and despite trying deep conditioning and products, I couldn’t brush it out. It felt synthetic. I reached out to Anna, who was understanding. After about a week, I asked her to remove the extensions and requested a refund, which she processed without hesitation. She suggested I return in October for better quality hair. When I returned in October, I requested 24” blonde extensions, slightly wavy to match my hair. This time, Anna matched the color perfectly, and I was thrilled. However, the next morning, I started losing entire bonds—six in total. I messaged Anna immediately, and by my follow-up appointment, I had lost 20 bonds. She reattached everything using her ice method, and I appreciated her allowing me to bring my baby during the appointment. Despite reassurances, I continued to lose bonds over the weekend, and the hair felt strange—like a cheap wig. Seeking a second opinion, I consulted my wedding makeup and hair artist, who had experience with extensions. After a brief inspection, she refused to style my hair due to concerns about the bonds and their direction. She pointed out that the extensions were mixed with synthetic hair, which she demonstrated with a burn test. She also showed me areas where my hair was thinning. I was devastated and reached out to Anna, asking for another refund and to remove the extensions before I lost more hair. Anna quickly agreed and processed the refund before even removing the extensions, demonstrating her commitment to customer satisfaction. I had collected some of the fallen bonds, and when I burned them, they melted, confirming my concerns. I know they recently changed vendors, and I hope the quality has improved. I’m attaching photos of the hair to illustrate the poor quality. Extensions should be silky smooth, and I paid $400 for hair that felt like a $20 Halloween wig. I’m truly upset that this didn’t work out for me, and I feel somewhat scammed. Now, I’m scrambling to figure out what to do for my wedding, and I had to get a significant haircut to address how thin my hair looked afterward. I appreciate the professionalism of Wow Beauty Bar and their beautiful shop. However, the quality of the hair was disappointing, and my experience was far from satisfactory.

Alex Bascom Don’t like their attitude. I won’t take their severe if they give me bad attitude. Which isn’t fair for deaf people to come to this store . I was thought it’ll be easy to get haircut. But no full of attitude to me like they don’t even know how to communicate with deaf people. So I won’t take haircut over there ever again.

Gulagg the champion Gloria is warm and welcoming, her shop is clean, and she gave me an amazing haircut. I have very fine hair, and usually when I get home and take a close look at my hair I can find a few strands that didnt get cut due to their fineness. Gloria did not miss a single hair. I have never received so many compliments on my haircut before-- Gloria will be my ONLY stylist from now on.

Blair This was a great experience! First off it’s a super cute, clean little shop, I just love the interior, and they have a little toy car seat for kids!! So cool and cute! I’ve never seen that before! It was sunny and the walls are yellow so it feels really bright, and the dark wood contrasting it is really pretty. Clean and upscale looking place. I think it was Gloria herself that cut my hair and she was super nice and conversational, always checked with me before she did something and made sure that I was happy with the cut. I was wearing a mask with long ear adjusters and she cut around them no problem! Highly recommend :)
