Marta Idowu The staff are very professional, courteous and helpful and the dental assistants were courteous and kind as well as my dentist who discussed everything with me and took the time to explain things to me about the next steps in my dental care and always happy to hear that l am doing what l should be doing regarding my dental care. They are amazing.

seven ohm Very awkward experience with a Chinese (I think) dentist. We had come from clear choice and let him know what the price was: $40k. He was very incoherent and was difficult to understand with a heavy accent. I could not understand what he was going to that was different which would justify the extra 30% he said he charges. Waste of time and $150, plus $15 parking. He didn’t even take x rays or any kind of diagnostics. It was just a consultation in which he rambled incoherently. Clear choice is known to be pricey. This guy is 30% more. I would not come here for implants or dentures, or anything else for that matter. He didn’t even print out an estimate. We just walked out empty handed feeling weird. Overall, the experience was terrible. Dude was shady. No explanations whatsoever. The office, however, is super nice. But, I still would not come here.

Beng Ljungman Dr Mark n staff were professional helping me through my first visit to their office. Very patient with this 84 year old senior who usually has trepidation going for her dental appointments. Had teeth cleaned n Xray done. Will have no more anxiety going back.

Ebby Reece Now this is what a supported team, efficient processes, and investment in tools for dental staff looks like and should be the standard for all offices. The waiting area and check in was a comfortable setting, the dental assistant was kind and thorough, last but not least Dr. Mark made my first cleaning there the best experience I’ve ever had in a dental chair. He made sure I was aware of how to signal if I had any sensitivity during the cleaning which went great. There was no dishonest upselling after, he modestly provided dental care guidance and suggestions for a future visit. There wasn’t a moment where I was made to feel uncomfortable or rushed. By the time I was checking out I made my next appointment for after the holidays and my 6 month follow up cleaning because I wanted to. (If you understand anxiety induced by judgmental office staff you’ll know what I mean, though I hope you don’t. lol) Highly recommend on all fronts♥️

Mary Review for Dr. Tofunmi Osundeko, DDS Dr. Tofunmi Osundeko is truly a gem in the world of dentistry. As a Black woman dentist, she brings not only incredible skill but a level of care and thoughtfulness that’s rare to find. From the very first visit, she took the time to truly listen to my concerns and evaluate the long-term health of my teeth—not just provide a quick fix. She created a clear, customized treatment plan that addressed not only my current needs but also the damage left by previous dental work that was done a month. Her careful, gentle approach made me feel completely at ease, and her sincerity shows in every interaction. She’s not just a dentist who sees patients—she sees people. One of the most surprising and heartwarming things? She actually recognizes and speaks to her clients in public. That small gesture says everything about the kind of person and professional she is. The reception Nancy is amazing! I gave her the wrong information on accident and she did some digging and was able to get the right information in my chart! She definitely goes above and beyond any reception I have met before. Lastly, I want to give a shout out to Tofunmi Osundeko dental hygienist! She really helped me relax and was super real with the possibility that could be in store for me in my appointment. She was very reassuring and did an upstanding assessment of my teeth as we waited for the dentist. If you’re looking for a dentist and staff whom combines clinical excellence with genuine human care, Dr. Tofunmi Osundeko office is the one.

Buddy D Avoid this place at all costs. I caught them billing my insurance for work that they havent done. In addition, the dentist that work there are not skilled and performed a lot of unnecessary work on perfectly healthy teeth. On one occasion they filed my incisors down to V shape including a tooth that was perfectly healthy. Once they file down your enamel you can never get it back. When I asked them for my records to be transferred to a new dentist it took them nearly 2 weeks most likely because they had to cover their tracks for the insurance fraud that theyre committing. In addition, the record was full of errors and things that never happened. I have asked my insurance company to flag this place and keep an eye on them. If you read some of the other reviews you will see that their mistake with insurance claims and recommending unnecessary work are common. I also asked for the owner to call me and it took her all day before she finally called. And when she did she was as rude as I expected her to be.

Becky Ottinger Gosh, I think I started going to Aesthetica in 2009…. At the time I was working next door to them, and their manager Lori helped get me set up for a cleaning with Dr Evy. I wasn’t always consistent (oops) and after moving around the Seattle area over the years and trying other dentists near wherever home was, I always made my way back to them. I drive from West Seattle now and just won’t go anywhere else. The entire team is so great and friendly — from the front desk, to the hygienists, and of course Evy. Most recently I saw her colleague Dr Fu, and she was so nice too! They make things so comfortable and put my mind at ease — I wouldn’t say I LOVE going to the dentist (who does?!) but I will say that I really don’t mind it at all, and it’s because of everyone at Aesthetica. Can’t recommend them enough if you’re looking for a new dentist who is super friendly and gentle! And they also have a parking garage and street parking, definitely a plus!

Jacky Chen (Jacky Chen) I have been coming to this dental office for over 2+ years now and I just love it! The office itself is very clean and organized. The staffs are incredible -- they are kind, welcoming, knowledgeable, and caring. I have been seeing Dr. Pedersen for tooth extraction and dental implant, Dr. Lee for periodontitis, Dr. Min for hygiene, and Dr. Zee for alignment, and Justin, the dentists assistant. They are just gems -- extremely friendly, kind, and lovely to talk with and always give me truthful advice on how to best protect my teeth. At one point, the office had to reschedule one of my appointments -- they told me well in advance! Highly recommend if youre looking for a dentist!

Ajay Dr. Pedersen is the best dentist ever! I love all of their hygienist. Justin is a very good lead dental assistant and the manager Stephanie always helps me whenever I need help with financial things. CHOOSE THIS DENTIST OFFICE OVER EVERYONE IN SLU!!!!!!!

D R I have never been treated with such kindness and respect as I was at SLU Dentist. I called last minute with an emergency, was in severe pain, and starting to lose my cool. The staff made an appointment for me immediately and I was seen within 5 minutes of arrival. Everyone from the receptionist to the dental assistants and the doctors were absolutely amazing and saved me from a lot of pain. I cannot recommend this facility enough, and will be returning for continued care. Shout out to Ohimaa (spelling?) and Dr. Zee! Absolute healthcare professionals.

kate flyger I started seeing 8 to 8 dental about 2 years ago. I see a different dentist each time with no contact info to follow up with anyone but the receptionist. Each time they schedule a follow up visit for several fillings, but they weren’t transparent at the beginning about how many fillings I would end up needing. On top of that, I had a $700 TMJ nightguard and after a filling, my bite had changed and it no longer fit. They said they could fix it and haphazardly drilled at it with a dentist drill right in front of me. It fits even worse now, and is completely unwearable. When I went in to talk to them about it, instead of offering me a free replacement they said it would cost $400. 700 dollars down the drain! They also asked me if I would like to follow up with a TMJ specialist, I said yes and they never made mention of it again. They don’t offer payment plans, or offer sliding scale for low income patients. Do not go here, they don’t care about their patients and the whole thing feels like a money grab.

ERALDO HOXHA Been customer at Seattle location for last 3 years. Every time i visit I felt good and confident and happy. Last visit wasn’t what I hoped to be. I did regular visit and clean up. After my visit, my crown front tooth got fractured and a pice of the crown fall off from the gum to the middle of the tooth as i was talking to a friend. I call and scheduled a appointment where same doctor saw me again and totally tried to move the responsibility and start asking if i was grinding while sleeping or chew anything….. she offer to cement the piece back since the cut was like a puzzle. (I should not done it in the first place) however, two days later same piece fall out again and i went there for second time. This time they went and pull the x-rays from last year and start blaming the dentist who made the crown and suggested me to contact them back to cover the expenses. After I refused, they sent me to the desk and asked me to pay for new one since they will not cover the damage. They told me they have spoken to the owner and this was their best solution. I have been trying to contact the owner or any supervisor for the last 5 days, and no supervisor or owner will speak to me even for 1 min and say “we probably did or not, but we are aware what happened” Same receptionist call me today while i was promised the supervisor will call me back, and offer the ‘help’. The help was option 1 call your Dentist who made the crown. Option 2 we can refer you to a specialist who can do your new crown and they will not cover cost. Definitely clear message-we wont stand for our damage and we no longer won’t you here- I won’t touch their door with 5 foot stick in my life.

Yellow Dawg The dental care was all great but I didnt like the office staff. There seems to be a lot of turnover. The last straw for me was when they did an obviously very high end remodel of a perfectly beautiful waiting room and bathroom while simultaneously sending out an email that they would no longer be taking Delta Dental Insurance (which I dont even have) because it wasnt keeping up with the cost of doing business in Seattle.

James Jessen For my initial appointment they took scans at no cost and detected a broken filling. I came back the next day and they replaced it without issue. A couple days later and the pain has faded almost entirely, a marked improvement compared to the last filling I got. The hygienist who did part of my cleaning was somewhat green, but she asked questions and promptly corrected minor mistakes. I have little doubt that when I return in 6 months, shell be at ease and even more proficient.

Matt Rygh I’ve always hated the dentist. Had a gap in appointments due to Covid and just now got back around to it. Was super worried about it but was relieved by the overall experience here. Very happy I found such a great dentist in the neighborhood!

Charlotte Bi I realized that the doctor was pushing for unnecessary, expensive treatments. She wanted to cap my small cavity and charge me $1,000 instead of offering a simple patch. On top of that, she suggested a $3,000 treatment using fancy equipment after a deep cleaning. I decided to take matters into my own hands and returned to my old dentist, where I only had to pay a $50 deductible for the care I actually needed.

zippyzoo77 Very good group here. They don’t try to convince you to do more work than you need, explain all your options, do very good quality work, and have very reasonable prices. As someone with very sensitive teeth, I just had the least painful cleaning I have had in many years! Just let them know and they will use a sensitivity paste that makes a huge difference (though not perfect). Highly recommend.

Dr. Alex Shor is not only fluent in complex concepts across dental disciplines, hes exquisitely focused on the needs of the individual patient. This is reflected in his conservative, pragmatic treatment plans. Ive always been impressed with his attention to esthetic detail- nothing gets by his sharp eye.

Bo Secord My dentist retired and I was looking to establish with someone new. Im almost 40 and have never had to return to a dental office to repair work, or re-touch. I had a broken tooth, so came in to get it repaired. They were able to get me in super quickly, and the support staff were communicative and friendly. The dental hygienists were great - very friendly, quick. The dentist was nice enough, but I returned to get it fixed (after the evaluation), and had such an awful experience. Ive never had such an unpleasant, uncomfortable experience, with little to no information being communicated. I left, vowing never to return but unfortunately this tooth began to hurt (which never hurt when it was broken), sensitive, and completely unable to bite down. I returned for repair and was told that sometimes this happens. Again, this has never happened to me. They fixed it I suppose. It is still more sensitive than any other teeth but I will never be back here. Unfortunate, because staff were nice and this is located near to me. Other offices have a long wait to get in, or are not taking new patients and I guess I shouldve known when they could get me in right away!
