Amanda Maarhuis Dr Esmail and his team took great care of me for my wisdom teeth extraction. Both Dr Esmail & the staff were so friendly and easy to speak to. They all answered my questions every step of the way! Would highly recommend this office to everyone I know!

Donna Ascalon Had full removal, lower dental implants surgery. Extensive and was in chair for approximately 7 hours. Staff was so helpful and friendly and accommodating. Dr. Esmail and anethesiologist were excellent in explaining what they would be doing. My prosthodontist was also in attendance later with excellent results. Two days from surgery I am still numb and somewhat swollen but comfortable and with little discomfort. Was a very satisfactory experience for what I had been nervous about.

Rene Almer Everyone in the office was amazing! The receptionist greeted me with a smile, and the assistant seemed to have thoroughly read my paperwork and knew exactly what I needed. Dr. Esmail was so kind, caring, and thorough. He completely put me at ease about my future procedure. The financial/scheduling lady was also very kind and helpful, going above and beyond to help me figure things out. I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Esmail and his staff.

Sammie Keen I just recently had to switch dentist. I needed a root canal. I have never felt so welcomed at dentist office. The whole staff is amazing from the warm welcoming receptionist all the way through the whole staff. They are very thorough, and they take the time to explain things to you during the evaluation process. The dentist is absolutely amazing. Hes very personable and has a very good bedside manner. He was able take care of my root canal. I had heard horror stories before from people having root canals, so I was very nervous especially being a new dentist. But honestly, it was actually for the most part pretty relaxing.I felt hardly any pain just mild pressure and some discomfort after sitting for a while. It was actually quite a breeze. I would definitely recommend anyone looking for a new dentist or just needing some work done to come here!

Mike Kent Had a wonderful experience today with Dr Jill Tetrick, her assistant, and front office staff. Last night while flossing a crown popped off. My dentist is out of town, and I spent a little time this morning calling around looking for someone that could bond it back on. At the recommendation of another booked dental office, I tried the Tetrick practice. They were booked as well, and already had allocated their emergency slot for the day, but took my number just in case. As luck would have it, I got a call back in about 45min, asking if I could show up in 30min; Heck Yeah! They have an exceptionally clean and well sorted practice. The staff was professional and exceedingly personable. Within ~45min I was out and having lunch. Highly recommended!

B Montfort I dont typically like to leave negative reviews, but I also feel like people should be aware. If you read the negative reviews for Bellingham Oral Surgery you will see common complaints--unfriendly or inflexible customer service, possibly questionable insurance practices, lack of or abrupt communication, inflexible practices and unfriendly or unprofessional doctor. My experience for my teens wisdom teeth removal reflects all of these. In fact, from the initial referral from our orthodontist that was submitted over a year ago to today, he still has only 3 of 4 teeth removed and we wont be going back. At the very least, I would request that the office remember that while this is their business and they do it all day, getting oral surgery or planning it for a child is a juggling act with multiple factors and a little kindness, understanding, and flexibility would go a long way.

Sarah Beal I cannot recommend this office highly enough—they truly exceeded all expectations. From my first interaction, I was impressed by their thoughtfulness. They even gave me a coffee card as a gesture of appreciation for my flexibility in scheduling, which wasn’t a big deal to me, but it showed how much they value their patients. Before my appointment, my tooth flared up into a nasty and extremely painful infection. Ashton, through the emergency line, went above and beyond to provide care and compassion, doing everything within her capabilities to help me during the wait. Dr. Simcock also stepped in to assist, showing exceptional professionalism and care. As someone who is highly anxious due to a traumatic dental experience as a child, I was nervous walking into this appointment. However, the entire team made me feel completely at ease. They were kind, patient, and treated me with the utmost respect as an adult. Their gentle and compassionate approach completely shifted how I view dental care. All in all, this office sets the standard for what dental care should be. If you’re looking for a root canal specialist, I can’t recommend them enough.

The procedure was painless and they got me in and put and on my way in what felt like no time! It was an over all fantastic experience!

H B It was the most pleasant experience I’ve ever had to get root canal done! They completed everything on the same day (initial exam and root canal procedure ). And more surprisingly everything was done less than AN HOUR! They are on another level. It was so smooth and quick!! In addition to the amazing procedure, their office is clean and has a nice view. Each treatment room was nicely decorated and spacious which made me feel comfortable. Both of the Dr. and assistant were very professional and kind. They explained every step thoroughly, and took care of me very well through the treatment. I highly recommend Dr. Simcock to everyone who’s having root canal procedure. Ruth Krause Was a patient for years but got tired of being pushed to get Invisalign everytime I saw Dr Bob. I actually dreaded appointments because of this. I had braces as a teen and my teeth have shifted slightly since. At one point Dr Bob even made the comment "guess your Dad was too cheap to buy the retainers." Its inappropriate to assume such a thing and speak ill of my deceased father. My last appointment there I was a few minutes late. My partner had gotten in an accident and just totalled the car on his way to work while I was heading to this appointment. Multiple staff including Dr Bob came to me to address being late, stating that appointment time is the busiest and now their whole schedule is thrown off. Theyre so busy they all had time to come make me feel like crap. I only heard 1 other patient in there. I got out of there as fast as possible and wont be back. My teeth and gums are healthy, at 44 years old Ive never had a cavity or gingivitis, I dont need a pushy Invisalign salesman for a dentist.

John Major WOW, talk about excellent care! I went from having a totally crooked smile to almost perfectly straight teeth in six months! Being happy with the results I scheduled a cleaning! And I dont think Ive ever had my teeth cleaned to that level. It was 10x more vigorous than any dentist office "Ever!! And my mouth feels like its brand new! On top of that, the atmosphere is full of light humor! My entire family are now patients and will remain so, indefinitely! Believe it or not, I cant wait for my next appointment! Tiana&Ward Boyd I changed my dentist because my previous one stopped accepting my insurance, so we contacted Piper Family Dentistry and were told that they were preferred providers for GEHA. During my visit, they asked if they could take x-rays. I agreed, provided that the x-rays were covered by my insurance. I also mentioned that I chose their office because I liked the hygienist they had. However, when I arrived, I discovered that the hygienist was no longer there. My technician assured me that the x-rays were covered, but I later found out they were not, and now I have to pay more. The dentist was nice, but I will not do business with a company that misrepresents itself. They will bill the insurance, but they are NOT preferred providers, and regardless of what they tell you upfront, they will charge you. I find this office unethical and not forthcoming. They waited until I was in the office to inform me that the hygienist no longer worked there and then changed what was covered once I received the bill. The second star is only because the dentist was pleasant.

Cheyanne Wilmore I can’t recommend this place enough. I switched to Dr. Piper after seeing my last dentist and she immediately referred me to have the other dental work I needed done (wisdom teeth removal, orthodontics, and periodontics) and sent me to some amazing other doctors in the dental field in Bellingham. They are always very welcoming and listen and make sure you are always comfortable. I have hypermobility in a lot of my joints so I have issues with my jaw being hyper-extended and they are always accommodating for what works/is most comfortable for me. The hygienists always check in with you regularly as they’re doing your cleaning to make sure you’re comfortable and doing okay during the process. Plus there’s a bonus sometimes there is a very cute friendly dog in the lobby when she’s not down with the kids! Love love love this place and trust the dentists and hygienists here 100%.

Dennis Bays I woke up yesterday with a weird gap next to my gumline on one tooth. Hadnt been there even the night before (and (I wouldve noticed!) Called in as soon as they opened (8AM), and amazingly got an appointment for the same day (opening due to cancellation). Lance and his assistant diagnosed the problem, and worked through their lunch hour to begin repair. Very impressed with their expertise and "bedside" manner - and frankness and honesty.

Liz W First time at this dentist. Very efficient and the hygienist was really good - very gentle and professional. Unfortunately I did have a cavity that got missed by my old dentist so it was pretty large. Dr Rogers carefully removed it and was able to save the tooth. She was super efficient and fast. I had a great experience and am relieved with my choice to change dentists to Barkley Village Family Dentistry. Its now the day after and my mouth feels normal with no discomfort. Many thanks to Dr Rogers and her great staff!

Andy Diskin Oh, he’s good, really really good. I have certified that with my 5 deep fillings and one Crown replacement in a matter of 3 months. My story is that I had been going to a dentist and town for a very long time, religious teeth cleanings and check ups. My daughter started dental hygiene school and when I was able to go to her for full X-rays and such, she came back to the chair and said “Dad, you need a new dentist..you have 8 cavities…3 I can do, but 5 are so deep they might need root canals…” Yes, 8. A fried if mine uses Dr. Lee and gushed about how precise, efficient and perfect his work is. So, here I am. Every deep filling he was able to get all the decay without a root canal, but I was months away from that not being the case. Not a single issue after with my bite or fit and finish of those fillings. The crown is 3D modeled while you wait. No temp crowns for 2 weeks. I took a video of him explaining the 3D AI scanning software! Staff has been really good as well and lots of communication by the assistants as things go along.
