Chau Klies Best salon in town. I would recommend seeing Linda or Mahaira for your cut, color and styling needs. They did such a phenomenal job on my hair that I am still in disbelief. My prior stylist did a poor job and they were able to fix it and make my hair look fabulous! I love this place.

Navreet Kaur I’ve been going to Angela for a while now, and she’s seriously the best. She actually listens to what you want and takes the time to do a thorough consultation, so you never leave disappointed. She just gets what suits you best, and her recommendations for home care have made such a difference in my hair. It’s healthier, looks better, and just feels so much nicer since I started seeing her. If you’re looking for a stylist who really knows what they’re doing, i 100% recommend her!!

Mrs. W Tamara does a great job with curly hair. I struggled in the PNW to find someone who knew how to cut it. My son and I both are customers! She is great and is competitively priced. I recommend her to anyone with curly locks!

Oka Jimena I go to this salon since 2014. I am willing to drive to Tii Gavo any distance as long as I can get service from Tamara. She is fantastic. I usually like to do natural highlights and haircut. She always pays attention to me and my wishes. She is the best at what she does! (I tried lots of different salons from Tacoma to Bellevue but Tii Gavo is the best for me!)

Timothy Ruzicki If you want a great haircut, I highly recommend making an appointment with Tamara at Salon Tii Gavo. Shes fabulous! Shes talented and highly skilled, shes wonderful to talk with, and her pre-cut shampoos are so relaxing theyll put you in a trance. I truly cant say enough good things about my experience at this salon, and Im always super happy with the haircut I get there. I leave each appointment feeling like a million bucks, and you really cant ask for anything better than that.

Kate One of the best experiences Ive ever had at a salon, I was super happy with the way my blonde came out and felt like I got a deluxe treatment. Gerose was super duper sweet and it was just great all the way around!! Here is my before and after!

Simona Midrigan The worst haircut and experience I’ve ever had. The lady who cut my hair did not say hi hello or anything. She was super rough, ripping my hair with the brush. Cut my bangs very short and very uneven. Did not ask me my preferences and seemed to just want me out of the chair rather than doing a good job. I’m not very picky because I know we’re human and hair grows but this was beyond my expectations of a bad haircut.

Zinah alshammari The place is clean but the prices on the board are not exactly realistic. She raises the price according to her desire, depending on the person. - She does not have a good style in dealing with the customer. Im talking to her. She leaves me and goes and says: Im tired. I dont have time to talk." She asks me to go to another salon that speaks the same language as me. Its a very disgraceful approach and he has no respect. On the other hand, what do you think about this bad approach? The worst treatment ever. If all the salons were closed and only this salon remained, I wouldnt I come to them again.

Dawn Only come here if you are looking for “bad hair day” styles. This salon seems to be doing that on a daily: uneven cuts, not listening to the customer’s requests, rough, felt like I was being choked, and terrible service.

Kilie Steel Literally the worst haircut of my life. Just wanted a trim and my bangs cut, along with a haircut for my son. I had to go to another salon to fix the mess. The owner refunded me it was so awful. The salon I took my son to to fix his haircut literally said if that came from her salon shed fire them. She barely touched me when she "washed" my hair. Didnt even brush my hair from bottom to top. Just straight up pulled the rats through top to bottom.

Eva Whiting I have been going to Ashley for a few years now, and I’ve gone from Brunette to blonde to copper, and I have never loved my hair more each time she does it! 5 stars!!. I have definitely found my hairstylist and it’s such a good feeling knowing I can go back to her time and time again and love my hair every time!

Olena Citrisky The service has gone downhill. The stylist left bleach on for two and half hours while taking care of other customers and were too busy to take it off. I have ended up with damaged hair, with blobs coming off with the foam.

Megha Dubey I requested very simple plain hair cut, not even layers though they ruined mine, it’s not even in length. They made left side shorter than right side and ultimately they had to chop more to make the same length and as a result I have very short hairs that was the only thing I requested not to cut too much. While she was cutting my hairs I pointed out that this side is uneven, to that she said I am not done yet and later she blamed me that I was not sitting straight so it was my mistake. Terrible service and attitude, didn’t even acknowledge their mistake.!!!

Sasha Buz Anna is very kind, friendly, responsive, and knowledgeable! 10/10! Highly recommend. I will definitely return to her as my regular stylist. Before the appointment: I DMd her on Instagram asking about what type of service I should book based on my current hair situation, needs, and wants - such as something low maintenance since I have a busy lifestyle. She provided me with realistic references and was honest that the potential outcome might be darker than what I wanted based on the integrity of my hair, which I was completely open to. During the appointment: she looked at my hair and then showed me a book with potential hair color outcomes. Everything she showed me was on the spectrum of hair colors/looks I was open to, so I told her to choose whichever she thought was best. So glad I did because I love the outcome! ----- Booking: Easy and straightforward. Parking: Lots of free parking spaces!

CT Anna is my favorite! Ive been going to her to get my hair cut for the past few years and time after time she knows exactly what I want. Not only is she super friendly and welcoming, she also has tons of experience and is incredibly knowledgeable about her work so I know Im in good hands when I book with her. Anna is who Ill always go to whenever I need to cut or style my hair. I just scheduled my first lash lift/tint with her too!

Sharon M Li gave my teenage daughter an amazing layered cut with curtain bangs in the front. My daughter has very long, thick hair and it turned out beautifully just like the picture. We both will definitely be coming back.

Jose Ybarra The wait was not long at all for a walk-in. Li (unsure of spelling) was the very nice lady who cut my sons hair as well as my own. She is very good at what she does, and is gentle and professional. Definitely opt for the shampoo service, its great! Like a nice massage for your head.

Rachael Moreno Johns Look no further, your quest to find The Unicorn of hair stylists is over.  She is Le of Great Cuts Salon (not to be confused with great clips!!) located in the Sunset shopping plaza 3186 NE Sunset Blvd (next to Saars Grocery) and she is extraordinary.  I found her in the most fortunate stroke of serendipity.  I had cut my own hair (badly) and came to the shop looking for a rescue.  What I got was arguably one of the greatest haircuts of my life!  I say one of the greatest, (I have never gone elsewhere since, nor will I) because each haircut she has given me is the greatest until the next one is.  Le is an artist, attentive, consistent, knowledgeable, talented and a true master of her craft. All of that plus a very clean convenient location, open daily, with ample parking. When I do a  walk- in, there’s usually one in her chair, one that’s next, and maybe another and then me. Make no mistake about it, I would happily stand in a Black Friday Sale kinda line anytime for the level of service she provides, but I dont recall ever having to wait over ½ hr on a walk in. When you’re in her chair, therell be a couple of customers behind you then too. Yet always, you get her undivided attention, and never ever rushed. She takes great care to ensure she interpreted the wishes you convey as you intended.  Honestly, I wouldn’t hesitate to say…"surprise me whatever you think would look good".  She is just that talented. I’ve seen a variety of her clients. Varying in age and in style,  but there is one similarity they all have in common, all of her clients are happy loyal customers.  Like me, they too have found their Unicorn and no other will do.

Matthew Swanson Went in for a men’s haircut last minute on a Saturday morning, every other place I called near the Renton highlands was booked. This place got me in and Tracy did a wonderful job. Honestly, I’ll be coming in here instead of bishops in Newcastle. Kind and friendly service and only $12!

S C After getting totally ripped off at Bishops in Newcastle being charged $64 for a horrible haircut, I popped into this place at the suggestion of a friend. Best haircut I have had in years! She took her time to correct the previous mess and blend everything together perfectly. The shampoo after the haircut was more like a head, shoulders, and upper back massage. I left feeling like a million bucks and looking great. $19 plus $1 for credit card and $5 cash tip. Highly recommend!

Aaron Bauer First visit was very good. The stylist was skilled and efficient. Walked right in and was seated immediately. I recommend the shampoo. Fall 2018 update - two years later. I’ve brought my family members dozens of times and we love it.

K K I am always afraid to get my haircut since I’ve had many bad experiences that left me in tears. I was encouraged by all the great reviews about Minh’s skill, warmth, and reasonable pricing, so I stopped in this morning. My hair was long, frizzy, and raggedy with so many split ends you could never get a brush through it twice without a snarl. It was time! I wanted all the damaged ends gone, layers, and some long curtain bangs. My hair is thin and naturally wavy. Minh was very kind and quick (you could tell she knew what she was doing) but careful. She checked in regularly to make sure we understood each other so I would be happy with the result, and I am! Thank you! Highly recommended!
