K Mersmann The shop was very clean and decorated so cute! Very comfortable surroundings. I didnt feel rushed through,like what happens at the chain places most of the time. Christine was wonderful! She put highlights and lowlights in my hair. I havent had this good of an experience at a salon in 20 years! I found my lady for keeps! Yay! I love my hair and cant wait to go back!

Jessie Susan is such a sweetheart, and she does amazing haircuts and colors! Shes fixed every not-so-good cut or color Ive come to her with, and her prices are very reasonable.

Carlee Olsen I came to Beauty in the Blink to have get lash extensions for the first time. My experience with Edilee was flawless, she was very professional, pays close attention to detail and they turned out amazing!!! I couldn’t be happier with her services! I will definitely continue to go to her. HIGHLY recommend her!

EVAN GUENTHER Been getting my brows waxed by Edilee (Beauty in the Blink) for about 4 years now. She does a really good job. The business is located in the business owners home at the end of a cul-de-sac. Easy parking and only one step to get inside. Edilee is very friendly and is extremely consistent with her services. Highly recommended.

TheStephers1931 Edilee is the absolute best! She the only one I go to now. She listens to what I want, I dont like mine really full or long and she gets mine perfect every time. She also is fairly priced and having my lashes done is just a huge boost of confidence.

Robyn Beckman I had a fantastic facial from Bryka. My skin felt terrible for months and she was so good at her craft. I was very comfortable, relaxed and the products and techniques she used helped me to feel so much better! I will be seeing her again. If you have needed or wanted a facial, I highly recommend her!

Danyelle W Lily listens to what you want and gives great recommendations to how she can get you there, and is very upfront about maintenance requirements for the color you want. She’s has great recommendations for products for your hair. My hair has never felt healthier. She takes her time and makes sure you are happy with results. This was my most recent transformation.

Kristina Sowers This was my first time visiting this shop. It was so cute and cozy. And the artwork was delightful. I felt instantly welcomed when I walked in. Aly is just an incredible person. They did such an amazing job on my brow shaping and tint. Usually my skin hates being waxed and I leave looking like a lobster but my skin is so calm and not red at all! I can’t wait to get a facial for my birthday!

Ericka Osberg Aly is the best! I have received multiple services from her and have loved every one. My facial was claiming and relaxing. She was very knowledgeable about skin imperfections and different methods and products to work with my skin. She is also an amazing lash artist! Once I started getting my lashes done by her, I knew I couldnt stop. Her space is cozy, clean, and inviting. I truly enjoy my time with her.

Im leaving 5 stars because I love the haircut and service I received in June and hoped to use Lisas hair services again.

Taylor Pugh Charleston cutshop never confirmed my appointment, and then sent me an angry text saying that I no called and no showed. They never confirmed it, so I never received a text or an email. When I explained to them that I never received a confirmation message to my phone or email, they just kept responding "Yes you did" Unprofessional, they dont do things properly on their end and then take it out on the customer. Edit: And again in their reply they lie. I did not confirm I was going to be there, the notification I mentioned was the pop up Window on Vagaro. I sent them my emails, and they still insist I received them even though I never got a confirmation. Both of my appointments I have tried to book through them had always shown the status "Awaiting Confirmation" I never received a text or email saying that the appointment was confirmed, and even on Vagaro the appointments show "Awaiting Confirmation"

Angelina McCumber I should have done this last February when I got to experience Chong. I had a haircut, and she was extremely open to my suggestion, but she was also a great student of a clients character and knew what hair style would fit me as an individual. She did not rush at all. In fact, she took her time to make sure that my haircut was up to par. I wanted my hair colored, but she firmly explained to me that during that time, a perm would ruin my still dyed hair. She was definitely not all about the money. I consider her to be an artist and a very loving person because she even suggested that I can go somewhere else if I really wanted a perm because she cared more about how my hair should be taken care of so that it wont end up damaged. We spent the whole time talking about me. She is an empath, and for some reason, I opened up to her that day because I was going through something. She genuinely cared, and I felt seen and heard. She even drove me home! The next day, I asked if we could work on my haircut a bit more, and she was so gracious about it. Unlike other salons, she never charged me for extra work. I remember that she styled my hair because it was the weekend, and jokingly said that I deserve a "weekend look!" When I mentioned that I wish I could do the styling myself at home for special occasions but did not have the proper instrument, she had an extra one and gave it to me. I went to her salon to look good, but I ended up having a great relationship and went home knowing I had a new friend who might have my back if I needed her. I would like for you to receive the treatment she gave me! This is why I wrote a lengthy review.

Leslie Willmott I got a wonderful haircut at this salon. Its a lovely place ,clean and bright and the owner is very pleasant and skilled. I have curly hair and she gave me a great cut. I highly recommend this salon.

P S My first appointment with Chong. She cares if her client is happy. And pays attention to the details of her cut. Doesnt rush. I am happy I took a picture of what I wanted. She gave her input. Little bit of language barrier, but not enough to effect the great job she did. No hesitation to recommend Chong. Extremely reasonably priced, compared to other salons in this area.

Strawberry Jones Juvy was incredible, patient, and so friendly! She even wished me luck on my big job interview. And guess what, Juvy, I got the job!

florecita davis made an appointment with a female hairstylist at 10,Went there at 10 shes not waited for 15 mins she didnt come yet so i had to leave..Very inconsiderate person!!!If you cannot make it on time you should have called to let your customer knows..

Williams Brandy (Brandy Williams Author) I am so happy to have found Juvie. She gave me exactly the cut I asked for. She was quick too! I was in and out in no time. Shes being careful about COVID-19 protocols which I really appreciated. I will definitely go back to her again.

Kelsi Anderson Mindy is THE best. Shes always ready for me when I get there, which I appreciate for the professionalism! She listens to me and offers suggestions. We try new things sometimes. Shes really great if I ever have issues with my schedule, which, even if she wasnt able to move things around that would be fine because it would be on me if there was a problem! I always look forward to seeing her. She has this amazing aura about her that makes you feel good and comfortable while youre there. Mindy seems like shes happy while she works on me. We have great conversations and get along really well. I went a few years without getting my hair done at all, so I had my natural color, which I do not like, and Mindy transitioned me back to the blonde color I missed so much. She just does such a great job and I cannot recommend her more! Thank you Mindy!!!

Front Desk I have been seeing Mindy for a few years now & am still excited to see her at each appointment. I love her personality and appreciate her artistic hair-cutting skills. I always get compliments on my hair when I am out. She is punctual, friendly, and one of the most talented hairstylists I have ever been to.

Bethany Parker By far the best service I’ve ever had with my hair!! The whole VIBE you get when being in the salon is top notch! Ive been going to Mecca for 6 years and we have gone dark, short, blonde, long! And she always makes me feel like a million bucks! The best boost is when I get compliments even months after she did my hair!!! You won’t regret seeing Mecca or Mindy !

Amber B. Went to this salon and absolutely love it. My daughter and I had our haircut and styled by Kenz. My daughter is 6 and has a hard time sitting still but Kenz was amazing with her and was able to give her a beautiful haircut. I changed my hair style as Ive had. the same haircut for about 15 years. Showed Kenz the picture and my hair is exactly what I showed her. This is our second time with Kenz cutting our hair and now I wont go anywhere else. Also the salon is beautiful and right on the water.

DOUG FAIRBANKS Great place! Gary(owner) is a great guy and knows his craft. Walk ins are welcome but I would advise an appointment. Theres an outside deck with a view of the water to enjoy while youre waiting or a waiting area with plenty of magazines.
