1 /5 M F: I went to this salon to have my acrylic nails removed and shellac applied, but the experience was disappointing and unprofessional. Instead of properly removing the acrylic extensions using acetone and filing them down gradually, the technician attempted to pull them off directly, which is highly damaging to natural nails!!
When I pulled my hand back and told her that wasnt the correct method, she insisted she could do it properly-but if she knew the right way, why start with such a harmful approach? I stayed and made her remove the acrylics correctly, but the experience was uncomfortable. After I voiced my concerns, the staff began speaking in their own language, which made me feel awkward felt like they were talking about me.
To make matters worse, the shellac she applied chipped just three days later, which should not happen with a quality application.
To anyone considering this salon: be informed about the correct removal process.
Acrylics should be removed by soaking in acetone and filing, not by pulling them off.
This experience made me question the staffs professionalism and skill, and I wont be returning.
