I had a very disappointing experience at the Beauty and Brow Parlour in Knoxfield (underground level) on Friday, 23rd May 2025. I’ve been a regular customer at the upstairs location near Smiggle with no issues, but this was my first visit to the downstairs branch—and unfortunately, it will be my last. I would rate them zero if possible.
The staff member who did my eyebrow wax left the wax on too long, which caused immediate burning and discomfort. Later, I noticed swelling and what appears to be a burn. When I returned to the store to express my concerns, both staff members insisted it was due to “sensitive skin”—despite me never having any issues in the past.
What upset me most was the attitude of the other staff member. She responded loudly in front of others with, “Did you come to get your $15?” I found this incredibly rude and unprofessional. Another staff member offered powder, which obviously wouldn’t fix a visible skin burn.
I’ve attached a photo to show the damage caused. I’ve been a loyal customer for years, but this experience left me feeling disrespected and deeply disappointed. I hope management takes steps to improve customer care and staff training.
