The team is so lovely and welcoming, and they seriously know their stuff—especially when it comes to blondes. I’ve had my fair share of bad blonde experiences at other salons, but Jo & Co absolutely nailed it! My color is perfect, the tone is exactly what I wanted, and my hair feels so healthy. The whole experience was amazing from start to finish. If you’re a blonde (or thinking of going blonde), this is the place to go. Can’t recommend them enough!

1 /5 G Farrar: My mum and I have been going to Jo and Co since they were established fifteen years ago. My last visit was on November with Janelle. I booked in for a hair cut and colour and brought my Madison Braid to show her the colour I wanted to achieve. Janelle told me shed do a bit of a colour correction as if been dying my hair at home and had some inconsistencies. Janelle put on a very dark (almost black) colour on.the very front part of my hair and a very small amount at the back. She left me sitting with dye on for what felt like a lifetime while she attended to another client. She didnt set a timer or tell me how long I could expect to wait. When I politely asked her how long the colour would be on, she rudely snapped not much longer. After an hour, I had to ask another hairdresser to ask Janelle to come out from out the back to wash it out. Janelle assured me shed bring the colour through in the basin but what I was left with was a very very dark front and sides and three shades lighter at the back and ends. Janelle then spent less than five minutes cutting my hair and attempting a very uneven, sloppy graduated fringe. For this pleasure, she charged me $205. I left the salon and cried in my car before calling Jo and coming back in to show her. Jo was not apologetic at all and appeared annoyed. Jo asked me what she could do to make me happy. Another hairdresser fixed my fringe on the spot which I was grateful for. I told Jo I wanted to colour fixed and she agreed to see me a week later. I want home, cried some more and sent Jo a couple of Facebook messages explaining why I was so upset along with a photo of the sloppy colour application and a photo of the back of my neck that was covered in dye. Janelle hasnt washed off my neck at all. Jo never replied to my messages and I cancelled my follow-up correction appointment. I have since booked in for a new hairdresser to fix the colour at my own expense. Jo and Co has lost the custom of both me and my mum.
