2 /5 Teejay X: I recently visited a hair salon where the experience was a mix of positives and disappointments. The stylist who straightened and flat ironed my hair was incredibly friendly and did a great job with most of my hair. However, she did miss a small section at the top, but it was easy enough for me to fix myself. Things took a turn when I was advised to get a haircut due to unevenness and split ends. I decided to go ahead with the cut, and while I initially thought it looked fine, I soon realized that the V-cut shape she created was uneven. The middle of the V shape ended up being more to the right side of my head, making it look mismatched when my hair was styled to the front. I got the haircut for a birthday but when I attended it unbeknownst this unevenness became quite noticeable, and I received more comments about the uneven cut than compliments. Did. Not. Feel. Great. Wasn’t very demure. Overall, the friendly service was appreciated, but the final result left me feeling disappointed.
