The spire has ‘888’ at its tip symbolising 8 hours for work, 8 for sleep and 8 hours for relaxation. Unless you’re a super fan of labour laws probably not worth a special visit but drop by if you’re in the area.

Jay Birchy Absolutely amazing tour, not only from a historical perspective, but an informative one also. Thoroughly enjoyed the stories from prisoners past and having the ability to walk around and take your time looking at the place. Glad they have retained many of the original fittings and fixtures and havent modernised the entirety of the old girl. Well worth your time. If you get the opportunity to come back and walk around at night, make sure you do so. The Adina Apartments which are on the old grounds of Pentridge is well worth your stay. You wont be disappointed.

Strautins Ian (Straws) Really impressive wooden playground. Lots of variety and area is boxed in from road with fencing. Plenty of stairs and climbing means the bigger kids get a bit more out of it than the toddlers.

Clair We brought our son here to celebrate his birthday. He freaked out and was very nervous however his instructor Sam and the team working on the same day were exceptional. We cannot fault the amount of care and professionalism by the team and absolutely recommend this experience to anyone who is looking to combat their fears and try something incredible. Thanks again. Wanyue Fang Scienceworks is a fantastic place for curious young minds, full of hands-on activities and fun ways to learn about science and technology. Every visit sparks new questions and excitement. It’s a great destination for families and a must-visit for anyone with kids who love to explore and discover!

Shai N You can take the train to footscray and then 406 bus to reach the spot. The trail is really long and nice with all the trees and the reserve. Today was the perfect weather to enjoy the breeze and sweat it out. There are benches to take a pause from the walk to appreciate the nature around you. However, beware of the snakes. I did encounter one and have added the video here.

Richard Roberts Very good park. Great variety for a wide range of ages. There are undercover tables and BBQs too. As well as some public toilets which are about as clean as youd imagine. Theres a big grass area and lots of car parks as well as a full size basketball court. Its also accessible from the path near the creek
