From the moment you step into his practice in Balwyn, youre met with professionalism and warmth. I cannot recommend Dr. Chen highly enough. If you find yourself in need of implant dentistry, he is the absolute best choice. Despite the waiting lists, I assure you, the wait is worth it. I was nervous about my dental implant when I entered the room, but Dr Chen and Jamaica were very helpful to pass my feeling. Dr Chen took me through the treatment plan and explained it thoroughly in a simple way. If you have to deal with implant dentistry, Dr Chen is the right one for you and is worth waiting on the long waiting list.

1 /5 Peter: Stephen came highly recommended by our family dentist, and a referral was made for me to see him. Sadly a request by our dentist for Stephens receptionists to call me to make an appointment went unanswered. Three weeks later my dentist personally called Stephens receptionists. They called this time and I missed the call. I called back to be rather curtly told "Yes we can fit you in January 2019". I laughed and said you cant be serious. She said "well he is busy and is travelling a lot this year"". I said my rotten tooth cant wait that long and will have to go elsewhere if thats the lead time. She said, "Ok". I understand that a successfully specialist can be busy. But it is the job of the receptionists to either tell referring dentists that the wait time is elongated or help the customer (he who pays their wages) with alternative suggestions ie other dentists at Stephens practice or other practices.
