4 /5 Riya K: I came to Melbourne from Sydney to attend a wedding and my friend made an appointment for me and my mom here for hair and makeup. Due to some disappointments, my friend has added a review so I thought to clarify that myself . First of all , I felt Mandy is a kind person and that’s why I am giving 4 stars. I am sorry to say that while I loved the hair arrangement , I hated face make up did by her friend, both for me and my mom. I asked for nude or no make up look kind of make up and I gave sample pictures too from previous functions. But the end result was not as expected. From the picture you posted itself , it’s evident that it’s not nude makeup. I saw exact similar make up you put on another woman , but looks good her, meaning you can’t apply the same make up on everyone. You should give customers what they want and according to their skin tone/colour etc . Many of my friends at the event commented about the makeup that gave me a different look which is not so natural and wondered who did the makeup. Also the fake lashes started coming off from one eye even before wedding was done. Long story short , I ended up removing everything and doing some quick light makeup on my own for the evening party . So yes I think they need to learn face makeup techniques and focus on what customer wants. Regarding hair, no complaints. I couldn’t tell you in detail when returning the extensions because we were driving back to Sydney and my 1 year old was crying in the car. I wish you the best with everything. Thanks

3 /5 Maheshika: I made an appoinment with this salon for a friend of mine and her mother. When i went to pick them up, my friend was arguing with them, she was not happy about the makeup. she was basically glowing in White. Her mom was so upset. They have made her also white. My friend has shown them a previous picture of herself asking for a neutral look, but they did what they want, at the end my friend and her mom left the salon unhappy. So I must say the salon is overrated at least for makeup. I donno about their other services, but makeup definitely sucks.
