isa lo There are several reasons why I am rating this university a 2/5 stars. The two stars are for the amazing professors I’ve encountered throughout my time obtaining my bachelor’s degree. Without them, I would give this university a 0. One, they fail to tell you that the courses are on rotation when you enroll, they are not always available. If you drop one class, and it’s not offered the next semester, and it’s THE class you need to graduate, your graduation WILL be delayed. Meaning you will have to spend extra time and resources if your goal is to still eventually graduate. Two, I’m not sure if their offices are understaffed or not, but their Business office WILL NEVER answer their phone. I have called for days, multiple times, and NO answer. It is the same issue with their Financial Aid office, but with that one I’ve actually been able to speak to a human a couple of times with my persistency. There is also a gentleman who works in their office (had to go in person) who lacks empathy for students. Believe me, if I did not have to set foot in that office for important reasons, I would not be there. I’m not expecting him to hand me a box of tissues and give me the magic answer, but goodness, don’t you know of all the stress students go through already for you to be so unhelpful and absolutely lacking passion for your job. Three, my last meeting that I had set up with my advisor to go over my graduation checklist was nonexistent. I made my appointment, took a break from my job and WAITED for over 30mins expecting a phone call. Nothing came. Almost 20mins after our appointment was supposed to be over, I get a call and voicemail explaining that they were with another student and missed our appointment. It was a PHONE appointment, the least you could do is give a courtesy call to the student and ask if they could reschedule. Don’t waste anyone’s time please. For the amount this university charges, and it being a CENTRAL TEXAS one, you would think they’d do better. My husband is starting to look for universities to do enroll for his Bachelor’s degree, told him take this one off your list. Hope this was helpful!

HAL RYMEL I wasted so much time dealing with this institution. Their phone support is nearly impossible to reach, and they take forever to handle admissions. In my case, I was informed that since I was changing degrees, I would need to take entry-level courses—but they don’t even offer those. Instead, they suggested I enroll in another college simultaneously to complete them. This entire situation could have been avoided if proper advising had taken place earlier in the process. To make matters worse, when I finally spoke to an advisor, they rambled on for five minutes straight without giving me a chance to ask questions. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere.
