Gilberto Flores Ive been attending class for my G.E.D. Havent passed because Mr.Beard is a LIER A FRAUD. HE NEEDS TO GET RE EVEALUATED

Alex I give a 5 star only because Mr Beard is the best one from the whole school , he teaches with a passion of his students to learn and graduate . We have a limit of time to learn , and he’s always getting stopped by ms Montez coming in and stopping the lesson to get students to sign from previous classses when I’m sure Mr beard has a box to get his mail dropped. That takes time from teachers and the rest of the students. She came in and Mr beard let her know to leave it in his box because she’s inturupting the lesson and she was really rude to him in front of the students and said o well it needs to get done .

Aracely Amezquita Ms.Guardado is so kind and cute anytime I get lost in a subject she’ll jump right in to help me we have a lot of fun in class one of the best teachers I’ve ever had !:) I can count on her for anything!! Mr.Beard ? Oh man he’s the most sweetest kindest soul I ever meet. the way he teaches math is easy and fun as well and he will not move on to the next subject unless everyone is in board and I love that about him. On the other hand our counselor Ms.Montez suddenly became rude to me .. she yelled at me in front of my class and made me cry I’ve had other class mates complain about the things she’s said/done to them as well . As a counselor I feel that her actions are unacceptable & now everytime I have to talk to her I’ll be bringing the principal with me as “backup” because of how uncomfortable she makes me feel. Overall I also give this school a 5 start because of my 2 wonderful teachers I love you guys soo much!

Phillip Schools has tremendously gone downhill since it became a fine arts academy. The school stated they would choose an activity they want to learn, then they never got to choose. They have to do whatever they say and dont get to focus on a fine arts of their choice. New principle hires piano teachers that dont stay and they let teachers take 6 months plus of maternity leave and expect kids to behave with a constant change of substitute teachers. They have a whole auditorium but do all the songs and dances in the gym. If your kids gets injured during a drill they wont even answer their door for you to pick up your child so you can take them to the Urgent care, which is child endangerment in my opinion. This current Principle needs to go and get someone who can get the school in order . I miss what it was and hate where it is. Ive left messages to contact me but of course they avoid calling back. I just havent been happy with anything this year . it sucks we have to have a public school system I know is failing our kids, but what can we do? We have to put them in certain schools based on our zip code. I hope the school board reads this and take it to heart there are many of us that feel this way but no one says anything.

Johnae Galvez VERY unprofessional setting the teachers and principal Smith do not know how to run a school professionally very immature teachers. They need to really look into the administration of this school.

Lafon Sandra (Sanderz) Honestly I witnessed the principle fighting for a parking spot at a differently school. Completely rude and even told workers from the campus who where trying to park in their assigned parking "do you know who i am?!" When confronting them and then taking it to the other staff by saying "my side is the only right side" and even threatened to email higher ups over a DUMB PARKING SPOT that the staff PAYS FOR THEMSELVES. Sad and pathetic.

Gloria Vega I think, its a great school. There is rarely bullying. It is the parents that tell their children, hit back if anybody does anything to you. Then u have the parents. that dont supervise, make their children take responsibility, do their homework, and dont hang around kids that are trouble. Know, who u r children are hanging around at school, and u wont have any problems. All things change but some people dont. Teachers can only facilitate the learning process, kids need to know it is their responsibility to learn. Remember that old adage: You can lead a horse to drink water but you cant make it, drink it! Parent Involvement is needed at school. You dont quit "involvement" after elementary school.

Scott Hughes This school is just awful. My daughter goes here and it has been the worse experience we have had with any school. We are military and Im seriously just thinking about home schooling her. She has been out of school for three weeks due to medical issues. I have been to the school 4 times, called several times, filled out forms just to request her school work so she doesnt get behind. We still havent gotten it. She talks about kids cussing all the time in class and talking about drugs and nothing is done. At this point I am having to contact the board of education to try to get them to get her school work. I would not recommend anybody send their kid to this school. If this is what El Paso ISD has to offer, they need to step up their game a lot more and put the students first!

Nicolette Ortiz I wouldnt say it is the best, it is a little older and near and older neighborhood. However, my son has really been enjoying all his classes and all of his teachers are really great and care about the students learning. I have been a little frustrated with his scheduled being changed. But, the bottom line for me, is knowing that my kid is learning and his teachers are there to teach, not just to collect a pay check. This is a really good school because of the teachers.

yadi Rang My son is being bullied by older kids. Like I said to them before the bullying has escalated where its physical, emotional and mentally. Do not bring your children here. We have not met the principal once. She has not call my husband or I about our concerns. They seem to protect the bullies rather than the children being bully. I am my sons voice and I will be taking it to higher levels of necessary.

Eric Williams Try driving by this school in the afternoon. The crossing gaurds are rude and lazy. I am pretty sure there are rules about how much traffic you can back up at one time. The school cop is worse, stops all traffic to empty the parking lot. If there is an accident I hope the school is sued.

Davis Bacon I have witnessed the crosswalk lady get in front of multiple vehicles yelling. This is not professional let alone dangerous. I get it cars aren’t obeying but she is not the police. Please hire professionals to cross our kids. We pay enough taxes.

Maria Pena I thank this school and his principal who gave me the opportunity to have my son attending this school even when we were living in a different district, he and his teacher helped us so much! I was a single mom, and my sons daycare was closed to this school, I really needed to have him there. 2019 / 1st grade student . thank you for everything you did, you are amazing!

Amanda Lara I thoroughly enjoyed this campus and was so proud my children had a school where the principal actually cared about their students and knew them all by name. That changed when Mr Cano left and the new principal took over. She’s rude and I did not enjoy seeing her face every morning, and my children were not happy there any longer. I couldn’t wait for the school year to be over so I could switch them schools!

Anonymous User This school has its good and bad aspects, the students and certain staff here is extremely kind and understanding, but some of the nuns at the school, not all of them, but a some of the ones that work in the high school are a bit rude and tend to get mad at students for basically breathing at times.

Monique Romo Discrimination against medical conditions, Ms. Lopez (attendance) spends too much of her time being distracted by the officers on campus. She lost paperwork, information on file was incorrect. Lack of supervision.
