Counted Child Great music academy! My daughter is 8 and has learned quickly how to play the piano and loves it!

Elizabeth Wolfley Absolute worst school. There is no administration, only via email. Instructors are sub par. This school will lie to you and make you promises and then not follow through. They let you do a sample class with an instructor that is not going to be your instructor. Communication is terrible. Located in a bad neighborhood with sketchy people walking by, beer bottles in parking lot. I do not recommend.

Liz Both my kids have been attending this music school for the last 4 years. The teachers are great! My son plays guitar and my daughter the piano. They have learned so much. We love it!

Diana Leija Aguirre We have been at Founders-Conroe for 2 1/2 years. We tried to ride the wave but finally decided to leave this charter school. I had a 4th and 6th grader enrolled. Save yourself and your child from this school. My children are Excellent conduct students and never ever had a problem in any other school except here. Not all students are treated equal. They have only been open since 2021 so I believe they are not experienced enough starting with headmaster and assistant headmaster Ms. Fletcher. They have forever traumatized my child. I am in the process of putting in a complain with the TEA. Many students have left already. After the trauma my child suffered not one teacher called or emailed to check on them. I never received a warm feeling from this school. To all the staff at founders please find compassion and love for students. I pray for all students who still attend.

RONALDO REYES AVILA I give it a 0. School had very bad communication. Pulling my child out right away. This school needs revision on how they handle things. Treats children like its a juvenile facility. Far from being "like" a private school.

Janelle Coombs I LOVE this school. They are a bit stricter than public schools and they expect more out of their students and parents. All of my child’s teachers as well as the staff do a great job communicating and teaching the kids how to be responsible for themselves. No school can be absolutely perfect, but this is our perfect fit and we are so happy we gave it a shot. Keep up the great work, FCA Conroe!

Monique Patterson My son has been going to early start education since august of last year for before and after care. I am very particular with the care of my son and I can say that I have not had one issue at this place and my son loves it there . My son has been out of school for the summer but has begged me everyday to go back to the daycare so I just signed him up for their summer program . It is the highlight of his day . I would recommend this daycare to any mother who is like me and very concerned about their child well being . I love that I can login to the app and see my child and what he is doing from the cameras. I am a happy mom knowing that I am leaving my child in good hands and I can tell that by the smile on his face while there and when I pick him up.

Chelsea Fox If you want to put your kids somewhere where there is a lack of incident reports and a lack of knowledge when things happen to your child this is the daycare for you. There were numerous incidents where I received no reports and wasn’t even told except by my child. The last time my son was hit and fell bumped his head. I had to ASK for a report. When watching the cameras you could barely see due to toys being all in the way of the cameras. My daughter was hit in class as well, the teachers response was I don’t care. Teachers kids will also bully your kids with no repercussions. They made my six year old sit out for 25 minutes outside for talking. Keep in mind this is a special education student. The director will just talk over you and interrupt when you try to address things. And when asked for the owners contact information I was given the daycare email and never received a response.

Katherine Belknap Great facility! I’m not sure about the other experiences parents have had, but my experience with both my kids teachers has been very positive - The teachers and directors have always put my children’s health and safety first, and have been very transparent when issues or events arise. They take great care of my one special needs child and treat him with so much love and attention, and my other child is always well looked after and loves telling me the events of her day and the things she’s learned. I’ve loved having my children here for the last 2+ years!

michael marcelissen Our 3 year old son has been going to Grace Crossing Academy for almost a year. He was a hyper 2 year old who spoke very little due to his older brother having Autism ( non-verbal). Now he is talking up a storm and has great behaviors. The staff at GCA are thoughtful, Friendly, and understanding. They really do take care of your child and give them great life lessons. As a parent we feel safe that our kid is safe there. I would recommend this academy to anyone. Very very much appreciative of everything they do for our son and us.

Callie Jones We have been enrolled at GCA since 2020 (with a newborn) and I do not have a negative thing to say about this establishment; including the amazing staff, curriculum, cleanliness, and love each person shows my child every day (even teachers that are not his). It is truly the best feeling when you trust 100% your child is in good hands when you drop them off each day. A lot of daycares (especially for toddlers) can be more of “babysitting”, but not GCA. It’s so awesome when you notice how much progress your kids are making and know it’s coming from the learning they are receiving at school. I have never doubted my decision of this being the perfect place for our son and our family.

Rob Reilly We put our son in a two day a week program here, and for 3 years he attended. We loved the teachers and the whole staff who genuinely work as a team and care about each and every child there. Our son learned so much even for his age, and we gained a very real sense of protection and care from the school. My only criticism would be that we were hit with hidden costs 5 or 6 times throughout each year for things we are sure we paid for in the beginning. But the teachers are amazing concerning communication from teacher to parent, we got daily updates with pictures, and we could contact them anytime if we had questions or concerns. Also the cost, minus the hidden charges, is very competitive and affordable even for full time care. We love our Grace Crossing Family

Michelle Fontel Bartlett Elementary School – A Serious Concern for Parents I’m honestly shocked and disappointed with the way Bartlett Elementary School is being run. This is one of the worst school environments I’ve come across. Imagine this: a bus driver telling a child they’ll run them over—and the school does absolutely nothing when it’s reported. It’s not just one incident either. Another bus driver consistently picks on a child simply because she doesn’t like her. This kind of targeting is unacceptable, especially from an adult who’s supposed to ensure our children’s safety. Even worse, there are clear instances of racism happening on the bus, and again—nothing is being done. No accountability. No change. Just silence. Parents, this is not okay. Our children deserve to feel safe, protected, and respected. If the school won’t step up, then we as a community need to speak out louder. Enough is enough.

Ana Reynozo Wish they had better communication all events are told the week of or only a couple days before . Horrible for parents who work and have to miss out because work needs a two week notice . Theyve lost my children on the bus about 3 times . School is very unorganized during Christmas parties the staff got overwhelmed and stop taking ids just let everyone through the door . This school is super dangerous and no one has answers for anything I honestly with I couldve kept my kids at Patterson . A school that makes their own rules is never going to function correctly .

Brenda DeAlva Our family has had a wonderful experience transitioning from private to public school. Both of my kids are truly enjoying the school, and their teachers have been fantastic. Mrs. Glover, in particular, has been an absolute sweetheart, and my son is thriving in her class. Her dedication and kindness have made such a positive impact. The principal Mrs. Smith has also been amazing—she is very attentive and keeps us parents well-informed about all school news and updates. We feel so welcomed and supported here. We have no complaints so far and are so happy to be part of this school community!

Kaity Fisher I enrolled my twin boys for preschool at Lake Conroe Christian Academy right when registration opened. I paid in full for the entire school year for both boys. As the summer passed and my boys struggled with potty training, I reached out to the school a little over two weeks before they were supposed to start. I understood their policy that the three-year-olds must be fully potty trained to be in class. I told them about my boy struggling with potty training and that we are making progress, but I wasn’t sure they would be fully potty trained by the start date. I asked if there was a flexibility or if they were firm on that. They were firm on that and I told them I inderstood so I would have to withdraw them because they wouldn’t meet the requirements. They said they were very thankful for me reaching out before the school year started so that they could get that class filled. I knew they had a pretty large waitlist. I went to get my refund check and they would not refund two months worth of tuition for each of my boys. $700+ worth of tuition. They pointed out to me that when I signed my registration packet it states that the first month of tuition and last months of the school tuition is nonrefundable. I understand that I didn’t read thoroughly, and I really thought my boys would be fully potty trained and didn’t anticipate ever having to pull them out. My main frustration was because the school year had not even started yet (2 weeks till start time) and they had already filled my spot by the time I went to go pick up my check. If the school year had already started, I totally understand that and it is what it is. But I feel like this situation was very different and it was incredibly greedy of them to not refund my money when my boys had not stepped foot in that school one time, school had not even started, and they were very clear that there was a large waitlist so they had those spots filled immediately. Just FYI for anyone that might possibly be in the same situation in the future.

Jaime Wagner My children have gone to LCCA since they first started. If I had the choice to never put them in another school I would keep them here forever in a heartbeat. Bebe and Ashley are loving, caring, professional, smart, the list goes on and on. They are everything you could want when it comes to caring and teaching our children. The day my children outgrow LCCA will be a very sad day!!

Katie Ferguson I cannot thank PDS enough for the love and nurture they show my 2 year old. She comes from a background of trauma and theyre understanding, loving, and have several staff members who have experience where she needs it. They learn. They love. They teach about Christ. I highly recommend this school for any age. This is our daughters second year here. Our older daughter did prek here when we moved to the area. This is where all my future children will be attending as well.

Lindsey Camarena I can’t find anything to complain about with this school. It’s safe, secure, welcoming, the staff are very kind and helpful. It’s growing, so the class sizes are not overloaded which is a plus. My kids enjoy being there and get excited for school everyday. They have a ton of events that are family friendly and keep us socializing. I can’t think of any complaints, genuinely.

Courtney Ashley This preschool is small but mighty and definitely preparing the children for successful years in grade school. The love and care they provide for my child can not be matched. We receive constant updates from Ms.Elizabeth on what the kids are learning about each week along with photos. She doesn’t waste a minute with their education, the moment the kids walk in they are happily greeted with a project/assignment waiting for them on their desk. My son truly loves going to school . Thank you to all staff that make him feel comfortable and help him learn. We can’t thank you enough
