5 /5 Brittney: Nancy goes above and beyond each and every time I visit her. She came highly recommended and has never disappointed me with a set. I’m basically a basic dip kinda girl but when I do want a little “extra” she makes it happen!

3 /5 M M: I had to wait almost an hour after my appointment time to get service. I also didn’t get the tech that I’d made an appointment with. My nails were wayyyy TOO EXPENSIVE for what I got and one of the tips started fading the very next day. There are too many nail salons in Lubbock to return to this one.

5 /5 Sydney Taylor: I came here with high hopes based on the reviews i read. overall the customer service was very good and the nail technician i had was very funny and personable. The two glitter nails did not turn out the way I asked for them to be but i did not complain because my nail tech did a very good job otherwise. despite not getting exactly what i asked for When i left i was optimistic that i had finally found a good and reliable nail salon in lubbock. however less than two days later, 3 of my nails have already popped off. I was not unusually rough on my nails. i’ve been getting dip power nails for years and typically they can last me 2-4 weeks if i’m careful enough with them. it’s just super disappointing because I liked my nails enough to go back and give them another try but it’s ridiculous that less than a week after i go almost half my nails have managed to just pop right off :( ( the photo of the glitter nail on the right is what I had originally asked for) UPDATE: the salon called me within an hour of me posting this review and asked when i could come in the get it fixed. they were really sweet and made sure i was happy every step of the way. i am so much happier with my set this time. clearly this business really cares about maintaining good relationships with customers and making sure they also give customers what they want. overall very happy with my experience at viva and I will definitely be back again! both of my nail techs were very sweet

1 /5 Leslye Cavazos: WORST SERVICE EVER!! Worst part of all was that it came from the owner. I asked to have a full set done. When she started cutting my nails I let her know that it was shorter then what I asked and she said no it just looks short. Once she started adding the color I let her know that it was still short. She replied with attitude that it was not and that if I wanted to stop. I responded with yes Im done (she had done 2 nails). She said ok it will still be $30 because I already did some work. At this point I said what ever since Im going to have to pay might as well finish them. She was taking forever and being really rough. I told her that I need to leave cause I had another appointment. She told me to come back before 5 so she can finish. Of course I paid before I left. I wasvery unsatisfied with my nails but was still giving them an opportunity. I went back at 4:35 and was told she was gone and that she would be back in 10min. I ask if one of the 4 employees could finish them and was told they DIDNT know how to finish them. At this point I asked for a refund and was told the owner had to do it. 5:15 comes around and the lady walks in YELLING that she was not going to give me a refund. I asked her to stop yelling at me cause I was not being rude. I told her the service was horrible and my nails where horrible not worth the $70. She kept yelling. I told her look I wanted to have them fix but non of your employees knew how, she responded with they where busy thats why they didnt help. I told her sorry but when I arrived there was ZERO people here and they where just chatting away in a corner. She resonded with oh they DONT know how to do nails. I was in shocked by the responde. Finally another guy said let me try to fix them I agreed since it was clear I was not going to get my money back. He kind of fixed them but also cut me while he was filing my nails. I WILL NEVER go back to this place. I would NOT recommend it to anyone.
