5 /5 M K: I recently brought in my car to have the brakes checked as a Jiffy Lube in corpus had told me that I was "metal on metal." Ted called me back to say that I was definitely NOT metal on metal but I would likely need to replace my brakes within the next 5k miles. I went ahead and got everything replaced with Vans as Ive always trusted them telling me like it is and NEVER trying to scam me into a purchase like these other large companies. Unfortunately, the next week my a/c went out and again I took it back to Vans. Ted and his team thoroughly checked my car to see what the primary issue was and got me back on the road with an a/c working quickly. These 2 services were not cheap, but I had no hesitation giving my money to Vans because Ive always believed they were giving good quality work & service. I would highly recommend taking your car to Vans for any services that your car may need. They treat you like family and that is hard to find in businesses nowadays.

5 /5 Joseph Pauley: I dont usually write reviews. It has been months since the service I received was done, so I have had time to test the repair and reflect on the service. I brought my truck in for an AC replacement and an aftermarket brake kit to be installed on my older truck. Not only did they quote me accurately and perform the service exceptionally, but they did it with honesty and respect. Seems crazy these days, but they earned my trust and repeat business. I have used other shops in the area and became distrustful of the auto repair industry as a whole. They did good work without the upsell or the "you need to buy this expensive thing for no real reason." Also, remember when youre getting quotes that doing something two times is a lot more expensive than one time correctly. The price I paid was fair, and I have no regrets spending my hard-earned money for this level of service. A car is the second most expensive thing most of us normal people will buy. Do your research, ask questions, and leave a non emotional review for your neighbor.

5 /5 robert navarro: Want a honest place and great old school mechanics? Here is the place to go why? I am a ex Army mechanic and I know a good business when I see one. This business does old school trouble shooting, instead of hooking up to fancy computer. Broke down leaving after seeing some old battle buddies. This place had a air conditioner waiting room as well. They got me fixed and on the road when they said they would. I give this business more stars if I could. Thank you very much! * Salutes*

5 /5 Kelley Shines365: I had a suspension related disaster in the wee hours of the morning about 40 miles from home. A different shop turned me away despite having patiently waited since 6am for them to arrive, so I stumbled upon Vans Garage, and to be honest- Im not sorry!! :) It wasnt far, and they were open early. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a friendly mechanic and directed to the manager of operations. I believe his name was Jared. He was knowledgeable and courteous. Although it was a hectic Friday with a heavy workload, he didnt hesitate to throw it on a lift and give me a solid estimate. I had my suspicions about the root cause, but the good news was- I was wrong!! He promptly identified the culprit and had me back on the road in a flash, knowing exactly what needed to be addressed moving forward. Im eternally grateful. Thanks for going the extra mile. What goes around comes around, (like tires for instance, when all the suspension components are properly bolted down...ha!) and good things come to those who are honest, conscientious, and run a good business. Kudos! I know Ill return for all my car care needs. You gained a return customer today, even 40 miles away from home!
