Laura Renshaw I am so glad I found this salon. I just moved to the area, and hadnt had my hair cut in about a year. I had a baby two years ago and let my hair go to the bottom of my priorities. My hair was a hot mess walking in, and I knew what I wanted (cut & gloss), but didnt do the best job of explaining it. Luckily, I had Melissa! She knew what look I was trying to achieve and she made it happen for me. She was so kind and made my first hair cut in a long time very enjoyable. I kept telling her she made me feel like my own person again, and she really did! I cant say enough good things about her and this place! The salon is also SO gorgeous and the other stylists were friendly and welcoming as well!

Amanda I have never let someone I didnt know highlight my hair, but Brittni did amazing! Cut my damaged ends but still kept the length like I requested. Didnt even know that she cut it but it looked and felt so much healthier afterwards. She knew what I was asking for without me being the best at explaining my idea for what I was wanting in my hair. Not only that but she was really easy to talk to and it felt like talking with a friend Id known for years and we only just met today! Will be returning for all my hair needs in the future!

Shane Blue Juan is absolutely the best barber that Ive ever been to. Juans barbering skills are unmatched, and his hand with a straight razor is expert. A true professional. Juan really caters to his clients with amazing service, and he goes above and beyond to deliver a wonderful experience. The Classic Cuts & Shave team are all very friendly and fun to be around. Its always a pleasure and a treat to go there. I recommend Juan and his team above any barber shop anywhere.

Luisa Garcia Got my hair done on Friday and when I say that was the best cut and color I’ve ever had I am not exaggerating. Chris was so friendly, made me feel welcome and made sure I knew exactly what he was doing. He took me through every step and made sure I was comfortable during the process. If you’re looking for someone who does great work and is super easy to talk to, Chris is the person to go to! Like I said in the beginning, best cut and color I’ve gotten, left me feeling beautiful and with a big a smile because of his amazing service!

Rachel Hatch Im in the process of moving to Bastrop so thought Id find a new stylist there and felt like I lucked out with Nancy! Shes also new to the area and is very experienced. I have curly hair and am always wary about getting a new stylist, but she really understands curly hair and did a great job. Almost everyone I interacted with that day complimented my hair! The price was also extremely reasonable especially in comparison to Austin prices!

Chantal-Marie Grinstead I’ve received countless facials and waxing from Rose and my skin has seen so much improvement since! Rose is knowledgeable and skilled at what she does and after chatting with her for a single 30/60 minute appointment, you’ll leave wishing she was your best friend— guarantee it. A side note: I’ve tried two skincare brands that Rose carries (Hale & Hush and Skinscript) and they’re both amazing and I am OBSESSED. She also carries amazing candles, jewelry, and even cute socks! Also, I used Alan the last hair service I had (cut, color, style) and got *so* many compliments! I’ll attach a photo of my skin with minimal makeup and one of my hair right after my service with Alan (though the lighting on that one doesn’t do the color justice) ☺️ Salon Arcanum is a clean, professional, and well-priced beauty service salon. Reda Moussa I went to get my hair cut, and it was the first time I entered this shop, and Hani did very good cut my hair in a professional manner, and he was really very good.

Neely Arnold Everybody here is great and it is an established salon community. It is decorated in an ode to Marilyn Monroe and is known for having a Marilyn statue out front at the sidewalk where people often stop to take pictures with Marilyn. (She heads inside during winter and Santa takes her place for holiday picture opportunities. There’s always something to look at while having your hair done!
