1 /5 MK Perez: I had a very disappointing experience with this business. I contacted them specifically to have a 6.5L diesel engine swapped into my 454 Suburban. I made this clear from the start. The representative either wasn’t listening or chose not to ask clarifying questions, and the shop ultimately did not perform the service we discussed and agreed upon.
Instead, they charged me over $300 to “install” a battery, which they didn’t even do correctly—they simply set it in place without properly securing it, also, it’s a no name generic battery so it’s not like I lll even have a warranty for this incredibly over priced battery “install”, pictures included.
To top it off, when returning my vehicle, they damaged my fence. I wondered why they hurriedly left at the time, I was working in my back pasture at the time and I have still yet to understand why they dumped it in my front yard. Yet another careless and unprofessional action. (Pictures included)
There’s no excuse for this kind of poor communication and service. In Texas, a verbal agreement can be binding, and I was very explicit in my request. It is not my responsibility to manage their internal communications or to spoon-feed them technical requirements. Maybe if the guy focused on listening to customers instead of trying to insult them by insinuating I’m some sort of transplant here. MFer my family has been here in south Texas before it was even called Texas. Maybe focus on communicating and what’s being said instead of whatever that was. If a company representative doesn’t fully understand what is being asked, it’s on them to ask questions.
I would strongly advise anyone considering this shop to look elsewhere for competent, courteous, and reliable service.
