Church means the people of God, not a building. City Chapel has that figured out. Pastor Harry breaks things down in a simple way, but doesnt sacrifice the deepness of the word. This is my new church home.

Nora E Bradshaw My husband and I did premarital counseling with Reverend Megan Peglar here. I highly recommend her. We also visited the church for service. Both Megan and the assistant pastor were great. The church is very welcoming, and communion is open to all people.

God knew I needed people in my life that cared for me, and for my family, and Thrive is that caring ministry that comforts you where you are. God is definitely a BIG part of Thrive, and I love how they love on people. How they utilize their God given purpose, God given love, to accept you and care enough to lead to you to Christ. And help you as they allow God to love on you as well. Thrive Austin Church is a great ministry, and I love the compassion, passion, and humbleness of their God, Bible driven sermons and messages of hope! Auda Gee The Cathedral for the Diocese of Austin. I would occasionally get to attend weekday Mass at lunchtime when I lived in Austin. Very short distance from the Capitol. There’s also a nearby Catholic school. Can get very trafficky and parking is difficult sometimes. Otherwise, the Cathedral is gorgeous. Mass is always special.

Travis Trammell This place is so amazing! When I was sick and on my death bed they gave the icu nurses chick Fil a and a basket full of snacks for the nurses. They even decorated my room with all kinds of thoughtful letters from different people from the church and pastor Ethan Evan came to pray for me when I was intubated! This church is a true testament of what church should look and act like I miss them everyday! They should definitely plant a church in Amarillo,Tx!

Kimo I came to the Austin Civic Wind Ensemble here today. What a wonderful performance. I just wish it would have been in the church in air condition. It was in the shade.

lindsey We love it here. Family oriented & a place for all ages. Everyone goes out of their way to make sure you know you are welcome & the teachings are always Biblical first and foremost, which was a big deal for us. God is definitely at work here!

Kristin Seelman The vision of midtown is what makes it different from any other church I have been a part of: to partner with God to see the day when every man, woman and child hears the gospel from a person who loves them. Its important to me to be a member of a church that emphasizes loving others and building relationships while figuring out what God is all about. While sometimes I fail at this, I am surrounded by people encouraging me to continue to pour into others as we build our faith together. Its pretty cool.
