1 /5 Ashley & Matt Edapparayil: Every morning on my way to work, I try and stop by the church to pray. Once or twice the father was there and allowed me to come in and start my day with prayer inside the church. However, I came around 7am to just a mindful prayer before I start my day, when I enter the building a gentlemen with a group opened the door and asked how he can help me. I stated I like to pray in the chapel for few minutes and he said no you cannot. I was definitely heart broken because I had a hard time at work and my uncle was having heart problems so I wanted to take a moment to pray for others. It is disappointing this church has presented itself exclusively to certain wealthy groups. I felt unwelcome to a place of holiness. I will say St.Ann parish feels more welcoming and no judgement or rejection if you wanted to pray.
