Rick Uhlig Ive taken my truck to other shops and thought I was getting treated fairly but Vance at Howells automotive did everything he could to keep the price as low as possible, he explained what needed to be done by showing me the areas that he would fix and even sent pictures of the work in progress. He only uses quality parts, no cheap stuff that will only last a short time and gave me the option of choosing which parts according to what I could afford. In short he works with you and keeps you informed on what he is doing. I know where my vehicles with get service from now on. Thanks Vance for helping me out when I really was in a tight spot

Amy & Avery Nubson No matter how new or your old car might be, it’s frustrating when it has a problem. Even more frustrating, and scary, when it breaks down on a cross country road trip. We’ve driven across the country 20 times with our 2009 Venza and it’s been very reliable. With 4 hours left on this road trip to Albuquerque, our Venza had some rattling underneath. On the way we stopped for the night in Amarillo TX, unsure of how to reach a trust-worthy mechanic. We found one at Carlson’s Automotive! Bonus that it was a mile away from our hotel. They look at the car early in the morning, it was a minor fix, nothing major at all, they took great care of me. I would drive back here for more mechanical work if needed! I feel safer on the road knowing there are trustworthy and honest mechanic out there!

April Gardea I would recommend Steve to anyone. He is very professional and highly knowledgeable. He goes above and beyond to take care of his customers. He kept me informed throughout the entire process of fixing my car. He explained everything he was doing in detail and sent me pictures and videos. We always went through a game plan before proceeding with any work. Even after getting my car back he followed up to make sure everything was still good. He was also one of the few mechanics in Amarillo who could work on my Volkswagen. I will continue to use Steve as my mechanic.

Curtis Stovall Clint was an excellent he was able to facilitate everything the way I needed to he was able to tell me when my truck was ready and what was being done to it. Carlos one of the lead mechanics is an excellent mechanic c&j diesel is a very trustworthy and honest place to take your vehicle and the prices affordable.

Dennis Metcalf I want to say that Bear Automotive is a stand up company to carry your ride to. I had some issues with the work and billing. They called me. Gave me a complete refund. All service has been performed in the time that was agreed upon & the price has ALWAYS been very fair & sometimes, even below, the estimate. Jay Shane truly went above and beyond in his work on my car. Not only did he finish sooner than expected, but when I picked up the car he actually showed me the part itself that he replaced and walked me through exactly why it was malfunctioning and needed to be replaced. This was a first for me. Shanes also just a super good guy, really nice, professional, and a good communicator. My cars never been running better and Im super happy with his work.
