5 /5 Adam Velasquez: I really enjoyed this family church , it reminds me of Hays hills Baptist Church in Buda. They have good pastors and ministers that loves everyone and they teaches what s in the Bible. I gave it a five star

2 /5 non furantur: Even though I was not involved in its formation 40 yrs ago, I am deeply saddened after hearing about its sale to another church. It’s not a trivial thing to polarize the church and cause 85% of the liberal leaning members to leave so that the fraction that remained, are 95% aligned behind the pastor’s vision to sell the property and his quest to create a legacy for his next generation in the LibertyHill area. At least happy that it’s going to another (Austin Ridge) church who are excited that 500 of its members will find it closer and it can probably reattract the members that it lost from the 250K population within a 5 mile radius. It is sad that none of the Great Hills members were able to hold on to the property that took prayers and sacrifices of the generation that built it.

1 /5 Patricia T.: Great Hills Baptist Church is an insult to the word church. I recently fell homeless, despite holding two degrees from one of the worlds most elite institutions and publishing a book. I slept outside the church for less than a week. I respected the property no less than I respect the Lords name. This wealthy churchs leadership did not bother to offer a single meal, ask about my name or my situation, nor did they offer ANY assistance with finding work. In other words, this "church" is one that does not follow the gospel. Instead, they show up on Sunday, donate their tithes and offerings, and allow leadership to spit upon the homeless the rest of the week. What business do you have taking missionary trips to Alaska or Boston while you have homeless people sleeping outside of your main building? Alaska and Boston have no shortage of churches. And I bet many of theirs offer basic assistance to the homeless. If you want a church that appears to be a church, this is your spot. If, however, you seek to find a church that actually follows Christ-based teachings, you best look elsewhere.
