North Dallas Community Bible Fellowship

Brenda Babb We LOVE our Pastor, our Church and our Congregation. Pastor Dames and his wife Stacey truly Love ALL of God’s People. One of the things I like most about our Pastor is that he gives Exegesis on Verses which simply means that he gives a clear meaning to the original language. He makes clear what the author intended so it is more easily understood. Pastor Dames is one of the Best Expository Pastor/Teachers in the North Dallas area. He is NOT a Topical Pastor that Teaches only on the topics they choose. He allows the Holy Spirit to speak in and through him on All Scripture. The Word of God should do two things: Comfort the Afflicted and Afflict the Comfortable. The Word of God cuts sharper than any two-edged sword and cuts into the inner most parts of the human heart. It must convict and convince…not give you a typical “Feel Good” sermon or advice on how to live a happier or a healthier life or a Political Activism message. He teaches the Gospel and how to share the Gospel with the lost. He encourages us to read the Word of God during the week and even has Scripture and Praise songs for every day reading in our Bulletin which is so helpful. We just started our Wed night bible study in the book of REVELATION and it is AWESOME. Our Pastor teaches that the bible says that we should eat, sleep, and breathe the Word of God. If you are not hearing the Word of God and if they are not reading out of the Bible, then come to North Dallas Community Bible Fellowship. We would love to grow in Grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with you on this journey. We Welcome you with the Love of our Lord. Fred & Brenda Babb

Woodcreek Church

Beth Burgin There are many things that I love about Woodcreek Church, but one of the things that I love most is how intentional they are about raising up the next generation to love and follow Jesus. Our children have grown up in this church and definitely have flourished here! The Kidcreek team has helped to reinforce a solid Biblical foundation every Sunday, with a perfect balance of fun mixed in. Our boys have had Life Group leaders “move up” with them year after year, and we are so grateful that they have a trusted community of other Jesus-loving adults in their lives. Our oldest son also recently finished the amazing 5th grade discipleship program on Wednesday nights and has been so excited to officially start going to Youth Group! Another way that Woodcreek is intentional with discipling the next generation is that kids are welcomed and encouraged to participate in leading worship, both in Kidcreek and in “big church” through the Multi-generational choir Sundays. Through these opportunities we have seen our normally shy and reserved son develop a heart for worship, and the confidence to boldly sing praises to the Lord. It is wonderful to be a part of this church family!

Grace Presbyterian Church - plano

Robert Hopper I’ve attended Grace since 2010. On Sunday mornings, there’s an early service which is contemporary. This is with a guitar and drum and usually the youth choir. The late service is traditional with the beautiful organ and adult choir. We are a very open and welcoming congregation and love to see new faces. We are currently led by a fantastic senior pastor, Dr. Rev. Tracey Davenport. Her sermons are all Biblically based and with valuable applications to our lives in the world today. She has a servant’s heart and exudes love whenever in one-on-one personal interactions. The congregation is very diverse in both age and ethnicity. There are a lot of children and youth activities. Adult educational opportunities abound. A big strength of the church is its mission activities. We support a local food bank, house families in transition, provide clean water to rural villages in Guatemala, package dried meals for countries in crisis and give blood for those in need. I’m probably missing several other activities because I can’t participate in all of them. Come worship with us and experience for yourself whether we’re as a spiritual home. Robert Hopper

Bethany Bible Church

Christi Lillie We are so thankful that we have found this church. My side of the family are very prominent members and strongly encouraged us to attend and we are so happy that we did. The sense of family and love and compassion that we sent from everyone here has been absolutely amazing.

Prestonwood Baptist Church - Plano Campus

Tara Mathew We were visiting Dallas and wanted to try a negachurch. Giant churches can tend to get a bad rap. We wanted to decide for ourselves (we went to several on our journey from Canada). This one was very Spirit-led. It was so evident. Far more than we expected. We expected amazing production and professionalism but got so much more. We were hugely blessed at this church. Treated like royalty when we told them our was our first time. We had front row seats! Pastor Graham came and spoke to us and we didnt even know he was the pastor until he preached. He preached truth unabashedly. You wont get a watered down gospel here. The message was powerful and I couldnt take notes fast enough. Great quote from pastor Jack in the photos. Worship was quite the production but I dont mean that in a negative way. They are giving their best for God and it was beautiful. Orchestra, huge choir, incredible worship leaders. After the service we visited the guest center where we were given free passes for lunch (available weekly), a book by Pastor Jack and free kids Bibles for our kids. The free lunch was fantastic! So much variety. Menu posted. It allows for fellowship. There were hundreds there. We checked out the gift shop and it was very unique. Not just your typical Christian bookstore wares. A lot of beautiful art especially. We bought an adorable animated kids Bible. Fantastic experience here in every way. Our kids didnt attend the Sunday school as they wanted to stay with us so I cant speak to that.
