2 /5 Makenzie Bridges: I’ve been a regular at Elite Nails for about 10 years, since I was a teenager, and I’ve always had mostly positive experiences. I know or recognize most of the staff, many of whom have been there just as long. However, today’s visit really changed my perspective.
I didn’t get the name of the technician who worked on me, but she’s been there for years—just like me. Unfortunately, this time, I felt she didn’t make any effort to be friendly or offer the excellent customer service I’ve come to expect from this place. I asked her three separate times to turn up the water temperature because it was freezing, but it never got warm. Eventually, I gave up, which was frustrating.
The lady who did my nails last time was amazing. She was attentive, friendly, and personable, and she even offered me a drink. I tipped her generously because of the great service. But the lady who moved on from my nails today was the same one who left me feeling disappointed. After she finished my nails, she got up and moved to another customer, leaving me with two toenails unpainted. I sat there waiting while new customers were being served, which made the whole experience feel even worse. Towards the end it felt very rushed and sloppy also.
Although I appreciate the pedicure itself—it was relaxing and felt great—the lack of customer service and the feeling of being overlooked was incredibly disappointing, especially since the staff knows me and my family well. It’s not just about the service; it’s about respect and acknowledgment of regular customers who have been coming for years. I even still tipped her, although I was not satisfied with my experience. Hopefully, this experience was just a one-off, but it’s left me questioning whether I’ll continue coming back.
