Cross Church - denton - Denton (TX)

Kat Bos This church does Christ’s work of caring for the poor and homeless. Those who complain (in other reviews) about this, need to examine their life. Is church a social club, or where we gather to become more Christlike and organize to serve our community. This church feeds the homeless everyday but Sunday. On the opposite side of the square, the Methodist church has a service where the homeless prepare the Sunday breakfast and give the sermon.

Kris Garcia Made a decision to be baptized a while back. I choose this church because of all the wonderful people. Soon after, my sister and her husband and my son were baptized there too.

Ariel Cooksey I have been attending this church for a full year. I have never felt more welcomed into a church that accepted me for who I am. I attended the Open worship service led by Jonathan and Krystal. They have created a unique and comforting place. As someone who is queer and also has religious trauma in my past. This church has helped answer some deep questions about my faith and what it means to be queer and a Christ follower. If you’re wondering if this church will love and accept you for exactly who YOU are this is the place. They also offer more traditional services as well as a Spanish service.

Trey Kloepper When my family moved back to North Texas from Missouri, we spent almost a year attending new churches to find one that fit our family of 5. Valley Creek was the answer - this church pours so much into the next generation of followers of Jesus, and our boys absolutely look forward to Sundays at Valley Creek. My wife and I love the church for ourselves, too! There are some many ways to get involved with the church and your community with discipleship as the main focus.

Meagan Carmack I went for my birthday and I absolutely loved it. I didnt understand anything they were saying but 12-12 was a day to celebrate. They offer u free tamales and hot chocolate.. they do a dance thing and u get bread. I was told the amount of people has cut down more the 40% its sad because this place was amazing. U get a rosery also!!

Laura Olynyk Felt very welcomed and comfortable! You can tell the congregation cares about their people! Not a mega church so you can actually get to know people. And finally the pastor is super kind and caring and really speaks the word of God! Going to continue to attend! Highly recommend!

Erwin Jay (Jerwin) Loving church family with biblical soundness, great teaching, and deeply engaged community. Kids program is wonderful, my 3-year-old loves going, and I enjoy that they don’t dismiss kids until after worship. Highly recommend!
