5 /5 Erin Johnson: I’ve been living in Dallas five years and didn’t even realize this shop was there cause it’s hidden behind a Starbucks. I’ve been going to Shine that’s further up in the parking lot. Shine sent me here because a large party was coming and Beauty Times is the same owner. I loved my experience at Beauty Times very much. My tech was gentle with the nail drill when I told her my nails are sensitive. She did such a fabulous job that I’ll be visiting them again! So wonderful to have two shops as options. The owner does a great job maintaining both!

3 /5 Elizabeth L: Great pedi. So-so powder dip mani. May have gotten a new technician. The rotary tool got away from her a couple of times and I’ve got some ripped up cuticles to show for it. Pedi was great and I might try a different nail tech, but, not a great first visit.

I chose this place because the NexGen dipping powder manicure was more affordable than other places back home and the place had decent reviews When I got there, I was rushed to sit and pick a color. Then for the first 20 minutes the technician worked on me and chatted with another technician. Both of them weren’t following six feet distancing for myself or with each other which made me uncomfortable. Also, I discovered that the dipping powder was not the product promised on their website, NexGen. But instead she used different base and top coats from brands I had never heard of with an OPI powder. This felt a cheap betrayal. Additionally, she didn’t consistently apply the powder to my nails. Some of them look like they already have a weeks worth of growth from the cuticle. Speaking of cuticles, mine are stained from the powder and her not brushing it off between dips. It only got worse when she saw one of her regulars sit in a pedicure chair and said she’d be “right over”. She then rushed through the rest of my manicure making careless mistakes. The whole thing was done within 35 minutes. Normally I’d be thrilled with quick service but it was sloppy and I don’t think it will last long because of the mixing of products. Lastly, I was very enticed by the massages and pedicures I saw happening around me. If the salon or the technician were smart, they would’ve had a price list right there at my station and I likely could’ve been up sold. Instead I as just rushed out the door as the technician went to her other client. Overall, like I said. You get what you pay for. I got nails at a below market price and service at below market quality.

1 /5 Katherine Barrett: I’m visiting from out of town & I got these acrylic with dip they made curved & paper thin. As soon as I got back to my room I saw that one was bending & ripping. $75 for this. Money & time wasted. Disappointed
